To the errands and dealings of upstart scribes Taliyu'lin is not privy, and their quills are unheeded by its bidding or counsel. The Silver City of Taliyu’lin does not endorse, nor support, the use of the elven Haelun’or in reference to its halls.

Elesia Elervathar, moored by hope and given overmuch to remembrance of the noontide of high elves, short in tail of years and in memory too brief, erred in her yearning and bethunk of things of her youth and gladness, passed long beyond recall.  Let her beholden blameless in her misgivings, unlearned as she is in the reckonings of today, for while Motherland in truth our haven is to the weary and wise, in her purpose too eager she forgot that Taliyu'lin is the name lain upon our halls.

Yet the words of her calling let not echo empty, and her bequeathed wisdom counsel and guide us, that our hands may not find rest until the shadow which has of late laid heavy gloom upon our people be riven. Her missive, and any known copies, have been edited to better reflect her sentiment, and the trespasses she has made have thus been revealed to her.

"How delicate our Age has become." Spoke Antelian Acaln'sae as he read the missive, delivered to him by some unnamed footman. "Once Haelun'or prided itself on correcting impurity. Now Taliyu'lin corrects Haelun'or." He turned then to the window of his abode, speaking to himself as he gazed towards the sprawling city he now inhabited. "Let letters be edited and scholars be chastened. Let every hall be renamed so that the stones no longer remember the masons that raised them. Still, the dead remember - they remember who killed them, and who was ultimately responsible for it."
