The beautiful new city of Viru has been completed, pending some minor teething pains in the form of the still being carved statues. A wave of new faces, tourism and residences has flooded Viru's streets as many look forwards to the future.

 

The handing over of power, and the titling of Lord Basilio was unfortunately delayed, however, due to the attack of multiple darkspawn associated with the 'Meat Circus'. Intending to taunt the citizens for the death of one of their own, after a prior engagement - The Meat Circus was instead decimated. With three of their own being dismantled in a decisive return strike led by Viru's Guard Captain Darona Navino, Lord Ardeu D'Artagnan and concerned citizens.

 

Following this development, House Mendoza has stepped forwards in order to ensure that the city is safer than ever, ensuring that multiple medicinal kits can be found throughout - in addition to heavy aurum weaponry that may be used to combat the undead menace!

[Ruffled Feathers Adventure Guild]

Multiple new bounties have been made available upon the board of the Ruffled Feathers guild, from the tracking of the Wyvern that have made themselves a dangerous nuisance across the continent, to the hunting of the Meat Circus, an illusive group of darkspawn that have made themselves prevalent within Idunia as of recent years. 

 

The Guild has focused their efforts on starting anew and expanding, as Viru turns over a new leaf of its own. With a far larger guildhall, a memorial wall has been erected to pay respects to the fallen guild members who were lost before their time and gave their lives in service to descendent kind. New members wishing to join should contact Darona Navino.

[SOCIAL] » [SPRING FESTIVAL] The council of Viru invited forth the people of the city to celebrate the season of spring, and such an invitation did not disappoint. Hosted by Lord Basilio Quyllur Pachakutiq himself, the festivities involved a magical display of bardmancy from Mister Mondblume. The day was commemorated and made truly magical, however, by the joining of the count to-be Lord Basilio, and Lady Mediwyn of Tir-Glas upon the dance floor - perhaps the start of a beautiful friendship between Viru and Tir-Glas in days to come. » [BIDDING WAR] The streets of Viru remain unnamed. Not for lack of effort however, but as an opportunity for the citizens and nobility of the new city to bid on and name said streets of their own accord! Proceeds of such shall surely be utilized by the Council of Viru to ensure the continued growth of infrastructure and administration that has been a clear focus in recent days.

[LOCAL EVENTS & DEVELOPMENTS] » [BANDITS SIGHTED] A new criminal element has been sighted. The Red Hand gang was interrupted in their attack on the Mendoza estate, in their attempt to capture and ransom the children Juliano, Katarina and Sancho - the heroic arrival of Captain Darona, Aldith Flavius and Carlo Vausifus dispatching and driving off five of the six bandits, as the children themselves fought off and defeated the sixth within the estate. » [NOBLE SUPPORT] House Mendoza has led the way forwards, in support of Lord Basilio and the populace of Viru - ensuring that the apothecary sees an influx of medicinal donations for treating the sick and injured. Lady Melisanda and her two sons were seen entering the apothecary in order to donate blood for transfusions, to ensure the survival of those fighting to hold back the Meat Circus menace! An influx of donations has since been seen, with Ardeu D'Artagnan matching their generosity with a plethora of herbs.
