Creation of the Lisselroke Militia

 BIG AND WEE FOLK OF THE SHIRE!

After Recent events and after discussion with our Thain, it is with a heavy heart that I must admit that we cannot rely on the kindness of our neighbours to protect us. While we value and respect their help, and will be more than happy for their support in the future, we must now look to our own defences.

 

It is why I have decided, with the permission of our thain, Elsbeth Okenshade, and in my Authority as sheriff of Lisselroke, to organise a proper and official militia. This is open to all members of our Shire, Big folk or small.

As a member of the Lisselroke Militia, you shall go about your daily business, but in the event of a crime, attack, or other such dangerous event, you shall defend and protect the people of the shire. Protecting the Shire, as Knox does. from threats outside.

 

If you wish to become a member of the militia, please send a letter to me, or my deputy, Wilibald Proudbottom, or visit me in my office if I'm around.
