In-Character:

-Character Name: elros

-What is your Race?: human

-Biography:Elros had a hard childhood, growing up without parents. However, as luck would have it, a scavenger took pity on the young elf and helped him learn to survive. Living in the forests just outside of the Holy Princedom Of Malinor, Elros and his mentor lived off the wild animals and diverse plant life surrounding it. At first, the mild mannered elf had a hard time over coming his natural disdain of harming nature, but as time passed, he shed any inhibitions in order to survive. Living so close to the city, Elros often wondered if his people would accept him, not knowing if they would approve of his human mentor. Living much longer than humans, Elros eventually had to watch his mentor pass away. Not knowing what to do, Elros fled, pushing his way through the forest to get away from the city, he imposed exile on himself, meditating and making a life on his own. Two hundred years later, Elros emerged from his exile, returning to the city he looked upon as a child. Being a bit shorter than most elves, Elros stood proudly at 6'2, unashamed of his stature. His time the forest had made him very quick and agile, along with a wiry strength gained from almost constant movement. At two hundred and eighty three, Elros made his first contact with elves.

Edit: To clear things up, I have read many applications that stated what a biography was. Simply, it is a short backstory to your character.

-Character Age:22

Relative character ages across races (not 100% exact):

Humans: Age 80 is a reasonable upper-bound; 50 being relatively old.

Elves: Below age 200 is considered not fully mature; age 1000 is

considered relatively old. Note: A 20-year old elf is comparable to a toddler.

Dwarves: Below age 150 is considered young; age 700 is considered relatively old.

Orcs: Age 20 is about the age of full maturity (but children are treated as adults, regardless); age 100 is considered old. Note: though this is equal to about the age of 40, orcs tend to die of unnatural causes.
