In character: Character name: Grunnknar Vashnak What is your race?: Orc Biography: Grunnknar was born in his family home that had been handed down for generations in Sanjezal in Krugmar the desert home of the orcs he was raised ever since the day he was born to be a warrior everyday he and his father would leave the city and practise fighting with wooden practise weapons. After many months of training it became apparent Grunnknar fought best with a axe so an axe he used. His father also taught him the basics of smithing, mining and building amongst many other skills he may need on long military campaigns at the age of 15 he had crafted his own set of armour and his father took him to the mountain Eduren near the Halfling village of Dunwood to do his fathers own test of strength. Grunnknar would kill a wolf with a weapon of his choice he of course chose his trusty sharp stone axe after many hours of intense fighting the 7 foot giant used his shear orcish strength to behead his foe he then crafted the severed head into a helmet sadly he lost an eye to a swipe of the wolfs claw and has to wear an eye patch . When they returned to there camp his father said he would award Grunnknar with a golden necklace for his victory over the wolf that day when they returned to Sanjezal. Grunnknar trained for many years after his trial preparing for the day his father would take him to Fort Krug to sign up for the Krughai. But he never got the chance to sign up because his father had been called to fight in the Sanhar riots. Several days later Grunnknar received news that his father had been killed during the riots he was told his father had fought well but in the end he was overwhelmed and slain. That day a grief stricken Grunnknar was taught by his mother some of the less demanding tasks he would need to survive as a orcish warrior like fishing and cooking. Due to his lack of skill with anything other than weapons and his large clumsy hands he is not a very accomplished cook but he can make a meal if need be. Several weeks later after his grief turned to anger at those who appose the warchief. So at the age of 23 with all his new skills he set off to join the army of warchief Morgroka’gorkil and take his fathers place as a loyal warrior in the orcish army. Personality: Grunnknar is a calm patient warrior and always respects others. appearance: He wears a wolf head helm and roughly crafted chain mail body and legging armour and has plate gloves shoulder armour knee caps and boots, he has a small gold necklace his father gave to him. Grunnknar has distinctive green skin instead of the usual brown orc skin tone of the. Ambitions: The ambitions of my character are to join the krughai and serve the war chief Morgroka’gorkil. you stumble across a cottage in the wilds there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?: I come to the aid of the elf as his kind are on good terms with the orcish people I then help him back into his cottage and after a long conversation of the elf repeatedly saying he was very grateful and Me repeatedly repeating what I am saying until the elf understood I would accept any reward the man would offer. Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?: I say “me wud lik t purkas yo finst swrd” After repeating myself many times and after a lot of pointing the shopkeeper sets off to get a sword he then returns with the sword and places it gently on the counter I then struggle to pick up the small human blade in my large orcish hands I look at the sword closely before announcing “dis is a fin piec ov crafmansip” I then place the required amount of minas on the counter and leave the shop. James Undercroft 129 Share Posted December 5, 2011 Dude, don't doubt yourself! Man this is a brillaint application, the bio was awesome and damn I love the lore you included! There is nothing I can tell you to improve on here. Brillaint work! Added to my sig with your permission. I'll send you a message on the forums. Well done! One of the best applications I have read in my time on the application team. It makes it so much better the way you improved so drastically from your first application. It just goes to show that when someone is given the right guidance and puts the right amount of effort in, they can achieve practically ANYTHING! Please be patient as it can take a GM up to a day or so to promote you in game. If you have any questions in the mean time, feel free to contact me on the forums! :) I reccomend this guide to get you started out: http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/9868-an-extensive-guide-to-the-world-of-aegis/
