Also, if a FM has a problem with the way this is going to be layed out, can they please fix it? I prefer having seperate posts, as it's more ordered, but I'm not the one running the forum. This is an idea for a new army to be added to LotC. Read in full, or don't post. Only post if you have any compliments to make, or have constructive criticism. Flaming will be reported. This feature, if agreed upon, and accepted by GM's & Admins will not be implemented until Lord of the Craft V2.0 and the new map. Section A - Introduction Section B - Recruitment Section C - Organisation Section D - Locations Section E - Training Section F - Laws & ViewsProtocol Section G - Aims Section H - Conclusion The Derminium Military is a large military force, dedicated to the defense and safety of the world. As a army, they protect every race from danger, and patrol the roads, even to the darkest corners of the lands. They are partly based upon the Roman Empire, in aspects of military arangements and protocol. The main part of the military is free for all races to join, and there is a tough, and dificult training scheme for those accepted into the ranks. Danny 2232 Author Share Posted December 5, 2011 Recruitment for the Derminium Military is very select. Only those with a totally clean are permitted to even apply! Before anyone can join, they must submit this form to their nearest Recruitment Officer. What is your name? What race are you? How old are you (Minimum age: 17)? Where are you from? Can you weild a blade? Can you weild a bow? Can you weild an axe? What are your utmost strengths? What are your weakness's? Have you ever been arrested? Have you ever commited a crime? Are you inclined to worship an evil deity? Do you believe that Aeriel is the true saviour? Once an applicant submits this form, the form will be reviewed by the Legate of the Derminium Military. If the Legate decideds the applicant is worthy, a response will be sent to them detailing where they should head to for training (See Section E - Training). However, before actual training can commence, the applicant will be interviewed in-person to ensure that the information they have given is true. If it isn't then they shall be arrested and tried for forgery, and failure to identify themselves. If it is true, then they shall be permitted to head to their barracks, meet their Centurion and begin basic training. If a recruit shows true skill, they may be selected for the more elite unit of the Military, and will be forced to go through advanced training. Danny 2232 Author Share Posted December 5, 2011 The Derminium Military will be organised into strict units, each with their respected uniform. (We need an amazing skin maker to make them!) The rank tree goes as follows: Legate - Servius Magdu (Myself) - High Commander, and diplomatic supreme of the military. Has to have good leadership qualities and diplomatic knowledge. Senior Centurion - unknown - The Second Highest Rank, who is in charge of directly giving centurions their orders, and ensuring that the training is completed. Will also be the one who does the barrack inspection, as well as drill. Centurion - multiple unknowns - The Centurions direct the soldiers in battle, training and in drill. They are seasoned men, who have shown exceptional talent in the field of war, and can be trusted to keep the regular soldiers in order. Soldier - very many unknowns - These are the basic footmen of the military, they are the ones who fight on the front line. Often these men can be sent on detached duty, to patrol roads, or be stationed in towns. Labourer - multiple unknowns - These are the men who make the armour for the soldiers, and repair it. This section also includes the chefs, who cook the food the soldiers hunt. This also includes any man involved with the military, who is not of one of the ranks listed above. Danny 2232 Author Share Posted December 5, 2011 The precise locations in which the Derminium Military will have their headquarters, and their outposts in totally uncertain due to the fact, the map isn't released yet! The Derminium Military has locations near every major city, as well as a large complex just off of the main road. The outposts, and the large complex are built in near enough, the same style, with a basic layout to the buildings. The main headquarters, is located on a stretch of water just off of the main road, and looks like this: (If the idea is used, then I'd need to have this WE'd in, most likely, before the maps are switched. They do however, respect the laws of any nation, and will arrest anyone breaking the law of the nation they are in. The basic laws of the Derminium Military are: Do not worship any evil Deity, to do so is defying the laws of humanity.Do not commit murder, to do so is abusing the privelage of life.Do not steal, to do so is abusing another beings rights.Do not assault another being, to do so is abusing the privelage of life.*Do not blaspheme, to do so is insulting a god/deity. *Except when someone has commited an breach of the laws. Every member of the Derminium Military must stick to these laws. As a community the Derminium Military worship no common god or deity, instead, they are permitted to have their own beliefs and views, unless those views are dark, and evil.
