How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I could be on the server anywhere from 20-30 hours a week.

What do you know about Roleplaying? What is it?: Roleplaying is when you immerse yourself in the life of a fictional character, and life his/her life.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming is when someone uses information not earned in game to their advantage. Powergaming is when someone ignores the depth of the game and tries only to gain an advantage over others.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect this server to be a very in-depth world where you can become your character.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on a number of other servers but i have always gotten bored of them because they would be entirely focused on building and I would never be able to leave without everything getting destroyed by greifers.

In-Character: Bael

Character Name: Bael Modan "Red Mountain"

What is your Race?: Dwarf

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Bael was always a rowdy child. When it was time for school he was having stick fights with his friends. he would ignore his homework to explore the woods with his best friend Gherren. one day when Bael was 20 Bael decided to go on a camping trip alone. this excited him because he had always had Gherren him, but this time his friend couldn't save him from trouble. he was packed and set to go when his father Falstad Modan came to him. his father told him that throughout their family's history the father would always give their son an axe on his first camping trip alone. it was a beautiful axe with marvelous engravings on the side that told of a tale of Bael's ancestor fighting a dragon. Bael quickly said goodbye to his family and set out for the camping trip with his new axe across his back.

On the first day Bael had set up camp in a cave with a great view of a field he hunted on all his life. everything was going well he had gotten a dear by setting a trap and killing the dear with his axe. he was skinning the dear by a river close to the cave when he spotted a Dwarven patrol. he ran over thinking to hear word of the kingdom , but upon arriving at the patrol's camp he discovered that they weren't the friendly patrol he usually saw camping. the captain of the patrol only thought of Bael as a peasant intruding on their camp and decided to make an example of him by beating him in a duel, and slashing his face leaving a terrible scar over his left eye. but it wasn't over there, see the captain took a liking to Bael's axe and decided he wanted it, he ripped it out of his unconscious hand and left him with nothing to defend himself.

upon awakening Bael found himself in his bed with a bandage on his head. his father had found him after Bael was missing for three days on a two day camping trip. outraged Bael vowed vengeance. and promised his father he would retrieve his axe. Bael spent the next 30 years training with the ever present face of the captain in his head. he traveled across the land searching, but he never got close, until one day he heard talk across the tavern of a description of a captain pillaging villages unable to pay tax to the king. the description fit perfectly, Bael asked the whereabouts of the captain and the men said he was usually with the king. Bael could barely hold his excitement as he made way for the castle.

Within the year Bael made it to the Stone city, the capital of the land. Bael began asking around for information of the captain only to have the dwarfs of the city think him a thief by the scar on his face and tell him to go away. Unable to get the information he needed from the citizens he asked a guard. when the guard heard his description of the captain he was taken by the guard to the castle to see the captain. the guard took Bael to the throne room and left. the first thing Bael saw was the king himself sitting on the throne with Bael's axe across his back. it was then that Bael saw the captain standing next to the king full of arrogance. not taking his eye's off the captain he asked the king where the axe came from. the king said the captain had given it to him after a patrol many years ago. Bael then proceeded to tell the king that the captain had taken the axe from him, and he requested it back. Enraged at having a peasant beg to the king himself the king banished Bael from his empire.

It had been 55 years since Bael had been banished making him 85 years old. he was living in the wild fending for himself. he had taken refuge in a cave just like the one he stayed in when he first got the axe. one day when Bael woke from his slumber he was surprised to find the captain sitting in his camp fondling the axe Bael had made as a replacement. before he could say anything the captain threw the axe at Bael. he was easily able to catch it, but he was barely able to duck in time to dodge the captains swing aimed for his head. then a masterful duel was set in place as the captain assaulted Bael and he was barely able to defend himself. soon after the battle began the captain had knocked the axe out of Bael's hand, and he was making way to it while dodging the captains attacks. the captain then decided to have some fun and was toying with Bael, a scratch on the leg, and a gash on the arm were the least of his wounds. the captain had basically shredded Bael's arms till he could barely lift them. before he could reach his axe the captain began pushing harder and soon Bael found himself against a tree. with nowhere to go Bael prayed for his family's health and prepared to die. before the captain could swing the last blow another dwarf sprang from the bushes with a magnificent axe in hand.

it was then Bael watched the greatest duel he had ever seen take place. neither the strange dwarf or the captain was able to gain any ground and Bael was too injured to help the stranger. it wasn't long before the captain grew wary from fighting to duels very close together and had to retreat. he was able to slip away from the stranger and was gone as if he was never their, but not before he snatched Bael's new axe as a trophy. the stranger then put his sword away and went over to Bael. he helped him up and told him he was from a wonderful land called Aegis. the stranger told Bael he knew of a temple where he could be healed called The Cloud Temple Of Aegis, the stranger also told Bael his name was Arrim, and he could stay with him until he was able to have a place of his own. it was then they set out together for Aegis...

Your characters ambitions: my character has two goals and that is to kill the captain and to get his axe back from the king, any means necessary.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?: my character uses his hunting training to sneak behind the bandits and kill the before they can react.

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?: my character responds "i need a new axe".
