YummySkuxx 1 Share Posted December 10, 2011 Out-Of-Character: Minecraft Account Name: FacemySword1 Did you attend minecon and sign up at the LOTC booth?: No, I wanted to go to Minecon, However I had to work instead. How old are you?: born 92, so that makes me 19 Time-Zone/Country of Residence: Sweden, timezone is GMT+1 Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Absolutely, I've lived internationally for a few years, as an exchange student. Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: Well, this is probably the hard part, Lets start with the positives: I've roleplayed ever since I was 13, done some LARP (live action roleplay) and I've run a small minecraft roleplaying server, being Medieval roleplay, and not so much fantasy roleplay. The negatives are that I can be stubborn at times, however, I respect authority and will listen to an admins word (The admins word is final). I also tend to get on minecraft whilst tired, but I will try my best to stay away from the Lotc server when I am tired, for sometimes I get out of line due to the tiredness. I have some other servers which my friends own that I could go bother about on. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: It depends on my job and my current work schedule, Anywhere from 5 to 20 hours. What do you know about Roleplaying? What is it?: Roleplaying is immersing in to the world of your character, where you have to think, live, and BE your character that you are roleplaying as. "It's not just a game, its a lifestyle" or something along those lines. You have to plan your next encounter (or similar) in the Out of character chat, Not in detail, but so that both you and the counterpart you are roleplaying with understands how things are going to go. In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming is using things said in the OOC and using it to your advantage in character. Powergaming is forcing an action upon another player without giving them a chance to respond, such as "Zauyrio beheads X" or similar, also known as "godemoting" in WoW lingo. What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect it to be a place where I can take my mind off reality for a while, and immerse into an action packed roleplaying experience, where I can be my character. I also expect it to be a place where I do not have to worry about griefers or trolls. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: My own, if it comes down to roleplaying. We had too many angry griefers sending "griefer squads" on our server and I decided it was too much for me to administrate 24/7, therefore i shut it down. Other roleplay experiences would be roleplaying on Halflife 2 Deathmatch, Garry's mod (except the darkRP stuff, it always got out of hand with metagaming, so that wasn't fun) and World of Warcraft. Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Absolutely How did you hear about us?: A friend, also looked around for other roleplay experiences than my own server. Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you? No, but I will if it is required of me to be a good member of this community. What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?: YummySkuxx In-Character: Character Name: Rohgaf Honorlock What is your Race?: Dwarf Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Rohgaf Honorlock, Raised as an Orphan in the dark mines, now, when he turned to the age of Sixty, he was finally allowed to leave those dark and hideous mines, and see the daylight for the first time. My parents, they died in a tremor, covered under rock and rubble, crushed, to mash, by the boulders. I was raised by the lady at the orphanage, she turned me into the lovable short man today. I worked as a miner to make my daily minimum wage. I always enjoyed a good round of stout with my friends at the tavern. I tried to work as much as possible, so I could at age sixty afford the fee to leave the city. Many of my older of kin has spoken very harshly about the other "tall men" and "pale ones" out there, but I am not to judge until I have met one myself. Not many people visit our little underground community, and once they do, they tend to keep out of sight. Once my sixtieth birthday arrives, I will pack my gear and head out and explore the world. Rohgar, blinded by the light in the sky, wonders in awe what awaits him out there. Once his eyes have settled, he looks around and already is amazed by the vast amounts of landscape around him, and thus, begins his journey. Your characters ambitions: To explore all the lands, and meet all the people, and to make as many friends (or tavernbrawlers) as possible. Prefers a friendly meeting over an unfriendly one. Kind, warm hearted Charming Loves a good fistfight Persistent and stubborn Loves Gold, or any sort of shiny objects that symbolize wealth Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? It all depends, If my character knows the elf, and is on a good side with him, he may yell "Hey, you complete flagonheads, leave that elf alone or deal with me as well. If my character does not know the elf, he judges by the bandits appearance. If they seem well equipped and they seem like they know how to distribute a good beating, he may leave them alone, depending on his current mood at the time. However, he knows that friends in different places are a powerful thing to have. Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? "'Ello, Am lookin' for some better gear, such as a large club to swing at those crazy men who dare to attack me in my travels." I tried to make the best out of the character biography with the little I found. Trazier 115 Share Posted December 10, 2011 Looks good enough. I know some people like the skin screenshot to be IN the post, but sometimes the forums can act up. The link was easy enough to follow and peek at. Also I like any dwarf who isn't using a variation of honeydew's skin.
