Braxis 813 Share Posted December 18, 2011 Galahar A Feudal Town, run by the Knights for the King, as it is feudal it has several tiers or caste's, Each Caste as it goes up is better than the next Caste, some castes will be the same level. Everybody in the city must pay a tax, called a Tithe, the Tithes for each building owned are shown below, they cannot be changed depending on what Caste you are in. Tithe type Serfs basic (soon to be miner): 100minas serf Farm house: 1 stack wheat 32melons Noble houseing: 200minas ALL SHOPS: 100minas (tithe are taxes and are collected every Sunday by Steward or Lord of Galahar) The Castes Lord of Galahar: Braxis Silverblade Knight Commander - Ser Gideon Silverblade The Lord of Galahar and Commander of the Knights, he rules over Galahar and makes the important decisions. He is aided by his Steward and lives in Galahar's castle. The Steward - Open The Steward of Galahar, is usually chosen from the Knight Sergeants for his skill in not just fighting, but keeping law and order, he aids the Knight Commander in the running of Galahar The Knights Protectors of Galahar and the Higher Caste, they are given a tower or room in the keep for their service, and do not have to pay any Tithes. Nobles The Wealthy folk of Galahar, they own a Noble House, and as such are through of as Nobles, as they are wealthy, they are allowed into the Keep without questions. Squires The "Servants" of Knights and usually children of Nobles, they serve the Knights until they are knighted themselves. Villeins The Free men of the town, they have bought a House that pays Money as a Tithe, not items, these also include the smithy, fishermen and innkeepers Pages The Guards of Galahar, and servants of the Knights, they are the same as villeins, although they are still eligible to be in the Serf Caste as well. Serfs The workers of Galahar, they live in a house connected to a farm or woodcamp, and as such, they pay tithes in items, until they get enough money to buy a house inside the walls. Erdulan 0 Share Posted December 19, 2011 ((Spelling actually is as it appears here, scrawled in a hand which looks like it has made many pauses and corrections)) Hayl sitterzens of Galahar My naim is Erdulan and I am a minner and veree basick blacksmith from passt winterfell I am hoping to make a nuw life here in Galahar and I was wondering if some one had work, serf posisions or a small hows I mite rent avallible I hav had to live in the wyld a bit all so and so can hold an ax the rite way to chop down a tree or monster a littl.
