Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: Well, I am a nerd, and I enjoy every minute of it. I speak my mind, but I attempt to do so in a civil manner. For example, as opposed to calling someone stupid, I will tell them they are wrong, and give them my reasons for thinking so.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I can be on at least a few hours every day, though that may vary depending on what I'm doing during the day.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: Roleplaying to me is like creating your own character and writing a story with other people also writing their part of the story.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming is when your character knows something that the player knows, when they shouldn't have this knowledge. Power gaming is when you assume every action you take has one hundred percent success, or when you just assume your character is all around perfect.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect that this server will have a high level of literacy, for one thing. I also expect it to be very similar to most MMO RPGs, if MMOs had heavy role-play aspects. Though to be fair most MMOs are fairly lacking in the role-play department.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on way too many servers to list. I have been playing since Minecraft Alpha, so as you can imagine the list is quite extensive. I left all of them due to boredom, or in some cases the server simply ceased to be online.

Character Name: Guthwulf

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

I was there, at Al'khazar, my home, the day the living became the dead, and the dead became our enemies. I was born there, in the grand city that was Al'khazar. My father gave to me the gifts of a blacksmith, and all the skills that come with it. From my mother, I gained a compassionate heart, which I can only hope was a reflection of her kindness. I was still young when it happened, the day that death changed his mind, and the dead brought their own death. I remember when the call to arms was sounded in the city, a soldier blowing for all he was worth into the great horns of alarm. Though I was young, I was not young enough to avoid the fighting, and that's probably how I survived. My father and I reported for duty, in the days before the battle. We were given chain mail, a helmet, and a sword. Enough to protect your must vital areas, as you can still survive without your legs. Then they came, and took the city with them. I remember little of the fighting. I remember my father falling with an arrow through his eye. I remember my father getting back up, only to turn on me. I remember killing my father for the second time, and then seeing my mother on the battlefield. I remember her turning on me. In my surprise, she clawed out my eye. Another soldier slew her and rescued me from further injury, though I lost that eye. I killed my father, and I might as well have killed my mother, it still pains me to this day, even though they were already dead. I remember a great boom and being flung to the ground with my fellow soldiers, as dust filled the air and nothing could be seen. And I remember the wizard, standing there over the fallen leaders of the undead, and they did not get up a second time. Days after the battle, days of resting, I ran. I ran from the memories of the battle fought so desperately, I ran from the accusing eyes of my dead parents, and I ran from the sights of the mutilated corpses, chopped to bits by our own soldiers to make sure they did not get back up. I've been running ever since.

Your characters ambitions: Guthwulf wishes to find a place to settle down, where he can put those memories behind him and open an Armory. However, if necessary Guthwulf will also take up arms and become a soldier.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

Guthwulf rushes at the two bandits, hoping his rush will take them by surprise and throw them off kilter. Pulling his sword from his waist, he begins to fight the bandits with the elf, helping to even the odds.

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? Guthwulf looks at the shopkeeper and asks in a polite tone, "Could you tell me where the nearest smithy is? I'm hoping to get a job." Guthwulf stands there quietly awaiting his answer.
