my app was denied by Salamandra and i was wondering why im not angry just i what to know why he said i can not be a villain right out of the gate but my character not a villain my character wants revenge on the undead for what they did and im sure the undead are evil yes my character is a bit dark but hes not evil he also said format was sloppy i don't know what he men't by that he also talked about my bandit response here are his exact words -You tell the bandits to go away in the first situation and you expect them to just leave? Not realistic, please fix that here is my bandit response Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? he would step forth to tell the bandits to leave or there lifes would become a lot shorter then once the badits are delt with i would ask the elf what happened and give him aid and be on my way. i was making a threat to the bandits not asking them to simply go on there way in the rules you do have to talk before you enter combat. please read the whole sheet

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):AGE: 25 APPEARANCE wears a black robe with a hood PERSONALITY keeps to himself willing to help a friend in need HISTORY crow was born into the crimson clan a group of strong mages, the crimson clan was located a 5 days travel north from oren crow was trained for may years in the way of magic. But on his 20th birthday a great darkness came to his village it was the undead killing and burning as they went fires spred all over town no one could stop the undead, lucky for crow he was off training in the forest near by when this happened when he returned to see nothing but ash and ruble he looked around the villages for any one who was still alive he found a old man under some ruble crow came to him quickly crow removing the ruble he asked what hapened the old man said in a soft voice "the undead" the old man did not say any more he was dead. crow left his village and set out to get revenge on the udead 5 years pass but still not finding away to make the undead pay but crow will not give up.

the type of character i am running is a dark person who seeks revenge on the udead and is prepaired to do anything it takes to make them pay

One reason your app was denied, and the same reason I am force to deny it here, is that you must wait 48 hours following a denial to reapply. That means 48 hours after this denial that I am giving you right now.

I am not seeing too many elements of Villainism, but it is possible that a mistake was made because of you Bio. I would flesh out your bio and go into greater detail surrounding his life. I would also look into fixing grammar mistakes where they are obvious to make it easier for us to read and understand it. More importantly, you should know that your character cannot come out of the gates as an experience magic user. An emphasis should be placed on how much magic your character knows and how exactly he learned every bit of it. I would also flesh out your answer to the second scenario question.

I did not completely review your application, so it is possible that there are more mistakes that I missed. However fixing these will go a long way towards getting you accepted. In the future if you have questions regarding an application team member's decision, it is more appropriate to send them a polite private message over the forums asking them for clarification. I stress polite however, because some of our members do get flamed for their decisions and as a result are weary of applicants who message them. Keeping a polite tone and making sure to avoid being mistaken for a flamer will ensure that your questions get answered and you have a better application the next time around.
