Whatis your Race?: Obviously, the Elves.High Elves.

Biography:

Myname is Laurir'leh Tal'malin.I'm a proud member of the old Tal'Malinfamily. We represent the real essence of the mali,the elves. We may not be very wealthy, but we can claim being fullyelven since our firsts known ancestors. We have no connection (nor dowe want to have any) to taynaii (littlelife, non-elven races) and we believe that both mali'ameand mali'ker aren't worthy of beingmali. Mali'ameleave the city because they think that will help them. Theyare wrong. United we stand strong, and strong is how we want tostand. Mali'ker's intentions are lesspredictable, as they hide in shadows, but we believe they do so toworship some sort of God, different of what most people do. We thinkworshipping anything apart from our family motto is of no use. Ourmotto is “Maehr'sae hiylun'ehya”,which means “Progress and Health” in Old Elven. We also think OldElven's studies should be mandatory for all elfs, as it is our truelanguage, and so we needn't talk the same language as all those...other races.

Myfather, Lye'lirr, is a born diplomat,and almost run for Assistant of Prince Ebs. He has taught me thebasics of diplomacy, so I would have much desire to follow his path.I may learn engineering and science if I feel I'm not good enough atthat.

Myfather has a younger brother, called Fer'bilok.He is the best among the blacksmiths in our holy princedom, and iswell known for a party of swords hemade for the Wardens. He has yet to find a decent mali'aheralto be with.

Ido not dare talk about my mother's family, nor is it talked aboutwhen I'm home. I only know my mother left them very young and doesn'ttalk to them much. I know she had an elder sister who died years agoin one or another of those battles that upset the other races.

Mymother, Siramene,is a fine writer, although she never was famous. She loved writingpoetry, and among her literature stands out “Good day, my friend”and “Rot to her”.

Imyself was born in Laurelin in Kamees,the 33^rd of Malin's Welcome, 1333, so I'm around 240 yearsold. I haven't traveled much out of Laurelin,and never out of Malinor (I've been toRavenhold once). The worst problem I've seen in Malinoris the abundance of unworthy inhabitants. We need to get rid of them,and allow only elves inside... It is OUR land, not theirs!

I'velived with my parents since I was born. It's tradition to leave thefamily once you fill sixteen. I'm leaving now and want to begin tobuild up my life. I'm going to find a job in no time (I mean, I'm aHIGH Elf...) and a house in some more. I've already talked with somehistorians by letter and they told me it's not very money-making...So I'll probably try entering a diplomatic or politic place, sinceI'm ahead of most people of my age.

Ifthe elf isn't a High Elf and the bandits aren't either: He stops inhis tracks and backs up quietly, trying to not be seen. He mayhesitate and start running. He will tell the first guards he finds.

Ifthe elf is a High Elf and the bandits aren't Mali: He'll try to runto the nearest town and ask anyone for well-paid help, even if hehasn't any money on him. If the bandits see him, he'll pay them forreleasing him.

Ifthe elf isn't a High Elf and the bandits are High Elves: Just passby, as if it wasn't happening.

Ifboth the elf is a High Elf and the bandits are Elves: He will try tobring peace by words.
