What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:Roleplaying is when you play as a character that you create and you talk as if you were that character.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.:Metagaming is any out of character action made by a player's character which makes use of knowledge that the character is not meant to be aware of. Powergaming is a style of interacting with games or game-like systems with the aim of maximising progress towards a specific goal.

What do you expect this server will be like?:I expect it will be a very fun and cool server.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:I never left my old servers i decided to go on a different server. The servers i have been on were Skyland (I am Admin on this one), Middle Ages (I am a Moderator on this one) and Nexus

What is your Race?:Dwarf

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):Kimarai is the Heir to the throne of Valkyru but was taken from his family when he was 3 years of age and raised as a blacksmith since then he has had many great acheivements like defending the city against orcs and being given an award by the leader of the city. He is now 15 years of age and is on his way back to home city not knowing that he is soon to become king again and lead his people in the biggest war ever against the undead. He is small and has brown hair and has some stubble where he is growing a beard, he has medium length hair and looks younger than he actually is. He is a very strict but also humourous person who doesnt have many friends because of how he was brought up.

Your characters ambitions:Kimarai hopes to one day be King of the Dwarves and lead them to victory against all other races. Kimarai has met many Races while he was growing up but he has mainly seen Humans coming through on their way to war against the Orcs and the Undead.

Your characters ambitions:Kimarai plans to one day be leader of the Dwarven people. He also plans to find out who his parents really were.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Kimarai walks up to the two Bandits and asks them what is going on, he then beats them both up and then asks the Elf for a reward for helping him with his Bandit problems.

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? Kimarai replies in a rather deep and agressive voice "Yeah, give me the largest axe ye got i am plannin' on choppin' up a few Orcs!"

For the love of Aeriel, don't make your text light blue. Don't bold the entire thing. Space it out so it's easier to read.

Expand your definition on roleplaying.

Metagaming isn't playing OOC or learning OOC information. It's when you then go on to use this information IC even though your character shouldn't know this information.

Your definition on powergaming isn't the one in common use on this server. That's powergaming relating to RPGs. Powergaming on LotC is RP powergaming. Research it in the tutorial section of the forums or in the accepted applications.

Both your definitions are plagarised. This is not acceptable.

You cannot be heir to the throne of a kingdom that does not exist. You cannot be the greatest fighter ever and receive awards before you are even 15. You cannot become King without earning it on the server. Your character is way too "special" and overpowered, this is what I call backstory powergaming. You are one character in a community of hundreds, so you aren't going to be the most special or important.

Your open response questions both display powergaming. If two bandits and an elf are in combat, you don't just walk up to them and expect not to get stabbed. You can't just "beat them up" either. Your character has won far too easily with no detail and no struggle at all.

In your second open reponse question you need to go a lot further. Don't stop at your character's inital reaction, write what happens next, including the shopkeeper's dialogue and what you do right up until you walk away from that stall.

Your skin cannot be a default skin.

Remember, you must wait 48 hours before reapplying.
