My name is Marc, and I am a 19-year old college student studying Business. I have played video games since I was an

infant, and have focused on RPG's in the last 5 years. I've been playing Minecraft since it went public, and have joined many Role Playing

servers since then.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

Usually, I would be able to play approximately 2-3 hours every night, totalling up to approximately 20 hours per week.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:

To me, Roleplaying is completely immersing myself in a world, where I speak its language, behave in ways acceptable to its society, and

interacting with other people in a way consistent with it's habits and traditions.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.

In my opinion, both concepts are very related. Metagaming is when I use my own experiences to improve my gaming skills and actions, while powergaming

is when I focus my energy on acheiving a goal in the game. When combined, they can both work to my advantage.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I have a pretty good idea of what it will be like from many friends who have joined already. But I expect this server to be a realistic, seriously RP environment where I can fully immerse myself in the experience.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I have been a part of:

Townar (RP) – I left the server because the leader shut it down to pursue other interests.

The Kingdoms (RP) – I will leave due to constant crashing and the players almost never stick to RP

How did you hear about us?:

My best friend Logan joined TOTC recently and has been raving about it. Also, many of my friends from The Kingdoms have left as well and have recommended this to me, since I’m a big RP fan.

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Malanon is handsome, young man with a quick tongue and an even quicker hand. He was raised by a good mother and father who cared for him. Unfortunately, his parents died of sickness when he was at the tender age of 12, leaving him to his uncle to raise. At the age of 18, Malanon resented his sheltered life with his uncle and wanted to experience the world and its entire people. He set out to make his own way in the world and create his own stories that he may share with future generations.

Your characters ambitions:

Malanon has come to hate his life in his uncle’s house, running errands, and staying within the boundaries set for him. He wants to travel throughout the land, and visit different cities, meet new people, forge alliances, and make memories. He strongly stands by his father’s last words: “What man is a man, if he did not change the world?”

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

Malanon hides around the corner, unseen. He is still a young boy and knows not the way of the world. However, he was trained by his uncle and is confident. He unsheathes his sword, prays for the gods’ help, and rushes around the corner at the bandits, roaring a deafening roar of glory. The elf sees that the bandits, distracted by this stranger, have dropped their guard. He quickly takes advantage, and finishes them off. Malanon sees the stranger, and says “hello, I am Malanon”….

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

Malanon walks over to the counter and says “Hello, friend. Could you help me find the nearest butcher? For I’ve been on the trail a while, and need to fill my stomach.”
