Due to a post about armor melting off your body, it gave me a idea. Though, it is just a suggestion, and I don't know if it can be done or not. I hope it can be lag free, and not cause problems. I was thinking as soon as someone hits someone else with a weapon or tool. Both People should be locked, unable to sprint away, they can try to run off, though sprinting is not a option. Or like a special thing with weapons and tools. Special lil' buffs, it can prevent people from running from combat. With a percent chance possibly. I don't know, I just want my armour to be awesome again, I like to be buried ina iron block tomb someday. Not to waste it on armour, that I will lose constantly, due to it literally melting off my body as I fight. So here are some of my suggestions.

Excavation - Skill Level - Shovels

Perferably for: Halflings and Goblins

0 - 2.5% Chance

25 - 5% Chance

50 - 7.5% Chance

75 - 10% Chance

100 - 15% Chance

Wooden Shovel - .5% Added to skill.

Stone Shovel - 2.5% Added to skill.

Iron Shovel - 5% Added to skill.

Gold Shovel - 25% Added to skill.

Diamond Shovel - 10% Added to skill.

Farming - Skill Level - Hoes

Perferably for: Farmers and Halflings

0 - 2.5% Chance

25 - 5% Chance

50 - 7.5% Chance

75 - 10% Chance

100 - 15% Chance

Wooden Hoe - .5% Added to skill.

Stone Hoe - 2.5% Added to skill.

Iron Hoe - 5% Added to skill.

Gold Hoe - 25% Added to skill.

Diamond Hoe - 10% Added to skill.

Lumberjack - Skill Level - Axes

Perferably for: Orcs and Dwarves

0 - 2.5% Chance

25 - 7.5% Chance

50 - 15% Chance

75 - 20% Chance

100 - 25% Chance

Wooden Axe - 0% Added to skill.

Stone Axe - 5% Added to skill.

Iron Axe - 15% Added to skill.

Gold Axe - 50% Added to skill.

Diamond Axe - 25% Added to skill.

Swordsmanship - Skill Level - Swords

Preferably for: Humans and Elves

0 - 2.5% Chance

25 - 7.5% Chance

50 - 10% Chance

75 - 15% Chance

100 - 20% Chance

Wooden Sword - 0% Added to skill.

Stone Sword - 5% Added to skill.

Iron Sword - 10% Added to skill.

Gold Sword - 40% Added to skill.

Diamond Sword - 20% Added to skill.

Duration: Once, the chance has been successful, the duration will be for 10 - 15 seconds. So, you wont be able to sprint away for that certain amount of time.

I know this is pushing it a bit, though it is just a suggestion. I doubt that any of it will work. I just want my armour to be awesome again. This idea was rushed, needs to be more thought out. It will probably make Vaq go crazy too, so tell me what you think. All feedback is welcomed, even if you don't agree with me.

Reasons: The Axe is a bit better than the Sword, because the Axe is a bit heavier, and more likely to stagger someone. A Sword is best used defensivly, such as Parries which we already have.

Would it really matter if you hit someone? They will probably yell at you for hitting them.
