Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:I am a friendly person who enjoys talking/being with other people. I have a pretty good sense of humor and enjoy a good laugh but I can also be serious if I need to be.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:In the week i would say about 1-2 hours, on weekends more.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:Roleplaying is creating a character that has his own feelings, values and goals. You play as him and react as he would not as you would in real live. In game you talk like he would and act like he would. Also he has his own back-story, which affects the way he lives.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.Metagaming: This is when you use ooc information ic. Basically using Information you character could not have gained in game. Powergaming: This is when you force someone into something without giving them the chance to rp it. Like saying: Your hands are tied follow me to jail. He is given no option to rp it.

What do you expect this server will be like?:I expect it to be fun and a good rp experiance. Also it looks like a highly populated server so I am sure I will meet a lot of new people to rp with.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I played on rather a few rpg servers. But I left them as they were, sadly, highly under populated and so there was no real chance of rping with anyone.

How did you hear about us?:I searched on the minecraft forums for an Rp server with a large player base.

Character Name:Halvard Bennett

What is your Race?: Human

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Halvard is a tall grown man. He doesn’t look particular muscular but he isn’t weak. His eyes have a dark blue tone in which you can see the pain he had to experience in the past. His story begins in the small town of Wedgemore. He is born as the son of a middleclass family. His family wasn’t wealthy but they weren’t exactly poor. His father was a well-known architect in the town and this ambition for building aesthetic buildings was passed on to Halvard. The relative wealth of his family allowed him to enjoy a good education and he tried hard to step into his father’s footsteps. He took him to buildings as a child and Halvard was always impressed with how little you can make a simple house look fabulous.

His father always though him to be a gentleman wherever he was and this left a mark on him. He greeted people with respect even though they were not greeting him with any respect.

Halvards childhood was one of fun and joy but it all changed on that one day. A illness had come to the town. People started to become ill and soon Halvards Mother caught it. She died soon after. His father took him to the harbour and in a desperate attempt to rescue his only son he put him on the only ship that looked like it would go far away. After Halvard asked him why he wouldn’t come with him his father answered that this is his live and that he was to old to start another but Halvard was young and had a bright future ahead of him. His last words were: “ Always stay a gentleman and whatever you do do it properly”. These words stuck in his mind ever since.

The ship arrived in Asulon and Halvard, now aged 22, was ready for his new life.

Your characters ambitions:Halvard wants to be know amongst the great builders of Asulon. But that is only his dream and until he gets his chance he is happy building houses for ordinary people. Halvard also would like to be part of a large faction so he can meet new people and help his nation to glory.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Halvard slowly moves closer, hiding behind trees. He was never great in sneaking up to someone but surprisingly he manages to avoid making loud noises. Then he is close enough. He knows that he isn’t made for fighting and would properly lose in combat. So he picks up a small rock from the ground and throws it into the forest. One of the bandits hears the noise and turns allowing the elf to land a blow on him, which pushes him backwads towards Halvard. He pulls out the knife he always carries with him and stabs the man. Distracted by the shouts of his friend the other bandit turns. This gives the elf the opportunity to kill him with his sword. “Who are you stranger?” the Elf asks. “Halvard Bennett sir. I hope you are not to seriously injured?” comes the answer. “No No I am fine. I don’t know how to thank you”. “It was an honour to help you and it would not be right to ask for repayment” Halvard replies. “I now have to continue on my ways. I wish you a save onwards journey” the elf says and turns to walk away. “A save journey for you as well sir”. Halvard replies and walks of in the other direction.

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? “Good afternoon sir. I wish to buy two hammers, one axe and two hundred nails” Halvard replies. “ You seem have a new house to build, if I may ask”, the shopkeeper answers. Halvard smilies: “ Yes indeed sir. I got he order just yesterday”. “Well I will look if I have what you require. I am pretty certain I don’t have the required amount of nails but you shell have them until tomorrow”. “That is ok. Thank you very much for your efforts”. Halvard replies. He pays and after saying good bye he leaves.

Nicely done, it is good to see someone who wants to be an ordinary person everyone once in a while instead of everyone wanting to be a master fighter
