After GCSE's in English a few years ago and the fact I am now studying Classical civilisations in Sixth Form at the moment where English is hugely involved.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:

I am currently studying 4 subjects in my last year of Sixth Form at school, and I hope to go on at the end of this year to go to university. At the moment in my life Minecraft is my passion, and after I finish any work I need done at school, or any revision I go on minecraft for a couple of hours.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

I would say 2-3 hours a day and on weekends may 3-4

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:

To roleplay, to me is to totally emerse yourself in a character and play out there lives using your imagination and peoples around you to shape and mold a character.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.

Metagaming is when you use information not gained in character, an example of this would be saying you see someone through a wall because you can see their name plate. Powergaming on the other hand, Is when you do anything you can do to make it so you are almost untouchable by the other person. examples of this would be logging out while in combat, or saying someone can't do something because you done something like taken a potion.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect and hope that the server has a good sense of community and a good set of characters and Rp skills. I have been on a few RP servers where every character is almost the same, which doesn't make for a fun diverse RP experience.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I've played two RP servers when minecraft was in Alpha, but after a short time shut down. After that I played Towny survival servers which all turned into a glorified building server with mobs.

Yes I have a fully agree with all of them.

How did you hear about us?:

I heard about LOTC from someone on my last server.

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Ross Farmor grew up in a middle class family in the city of Oren. As a child he would watch from the window of his house and see the guards and politicians who actually made a difference to the city and to Aegis as a whole. This struck a cord with Ross as his parents were simpel modest people who never made an impact. His Father a northerner who's job was to cut wood into planks in the local sawmill. His mother, a southerner whose job was to clean notable families houses who gained her favour with them, but after awhile she was forgotten, and so was his father. This gave him the thirst to want to make a difference in the world.

At this moment in time Ross is cusp of adulthood, just turning 21 he has grown up to be his fathers son, with the personality and looks of a northerner people would never guess that his mother is actually a southerner. Ross's personality is generous and giving, but if he is double-crossed or betrayed he holds a grudge that he will never forget. Ross has been known to manipulate to get his way, sometimes being nice to people for the one fact that he could gain social or material gain from being their friend. Ross is very accepting of the other races, sometimes saying that they are easier to deal with that humans as Dwarfs and Elves can be less complicated and are just generally more open and easier to talk to.

Your characters ambitions:

Ross' ambition is to just generally succeed and make an impact on the world. He wishes to try and work his way to the top of the political foodchain by either schmoozing or being a great warrior.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

My character would first look at the scene and make sure he knows exactly what the situation is. After he has assessed the situation he would most likely leave the poor elf to his fate if the bandits were much better armed than him.

Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

My character would most likely schmooze the shop-owner, referring to how fine his items are and also how fine a person they are. he would then offer help to the shop-owner and try and free-load as much free stuff off the shop-owner as possible but still try and make sure the owner just thought I was being friendly.

But don't lose hope! After two days you can re-apply which gives you plenty of time to fix up your application and plan it out, as well as use all the advice I am about to give you to make it spot on. Also check out the links at the bottom of this page, trust me they really help.

You have a really great application and have shown some excellent character creation, but there are a few too many problems for me to accept you.

You have an incorrect definition for powergaming and this alone is enough for me to deny you. The reason for this is if I accepted you right now and you accidently powergamed, you could get banned and you would have no idea why. To find the correct definition of powergaming you can look on the lord of the craft wiki and then search for "Powergaming", you can join our Team Speak channel (You can get Team Speak from http://teamspeak.com/?page=downloads ), or you can do a google search.

Your biography shows a lack of knowledge of the lore. Oren no longer exists, it was taken over by the undead and later destroyed. Read up on the lore of the server by going to the wiki here: http://www.lordofthecraft.net/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page, or in the lore/history sections of the forum and website, and then add some of this to your biography.

It would also be nice if you were to embed the image of your skin into your application. You can do this by following this easy tutorial:

1. Go in-game and press the “F5” button TWICE. (Not once as this will show the back of your character)

2. Take a screen shot by pressing the "PrntScr" button on a windows computer or press F2 on the keyboard, then go to start => Run and type in this: %appdata%/.minecraft/screenshots

3. Find the screenshot and open it in an image manipulation program such as Paint or Gimp.4. Crop the image so that only the area close to your skin (including the skin) remains.

5. Save the file and go to tinypic.com

6. Upload the file

7. Click ONCE on the text box underneath: "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards"

8. Right click and copy the entire text

9. Paste in your new application
