Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I like to game, read, and play roleplay games such as this. I am a student of architecture and design and I love to parkour.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I don't know for sure but probably around 3-4 hours during weekdays and workdays maybe 3. Weekends anywhere from 4-10.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: Roleplaying is becoming, enacting, and thereby creating a character for one to use in roleplay situations. It is acting in that you are a whole new person, and you speak, dress, and act like this person (especially in things such as LARP) and create with others who are roleplaying a world which your characters live and thrive and sometimes die in.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming is the use of something such as a game mechanic or information that you do not know or could not do IC (In Character) to do or say something in the game or roleplay world. Such as reading a non-RP section of these forums and using that information in character to your character's advantage.

Powergaming is the abuse of a mechanic or way of doing something to do something that is OP or over powered or unrealistic ICly. Like killing an animal over and over just for skill points or spamming a button to kill something faster even if that is just plain abuse. Another way to clearly powergame is to roleplay or do something your character cannot do normally due to your own choice, like roleplaying magic that is OP and not realistic to this server or breaking blocks just because you have perms to a region.

What do you expect this server will be like?: Fun with constant roleplayers and great GMS who truly know how to make an amazing roleplay experience.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: None yet, I have played on classic servers but I got the full version so I could play on this great server I have heard about.

How did you hear about us?: A friend of mine recommended I join this server as I love to roleplay and would enjoy doing so on a larger server scale.

Character Name: Sharanai Lycian

What is your Race?: Half-Elf (High Elf)

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his/her life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

She was born a bastard. She had no knowledge of her mother, possible even a high elf her father had met in the many wars in the Human Kingdoms. She had pale hair and skin like that of her mother’s race, yet her eyes were the same blue as her father’s and her skills resembled a little of both. She was short and more elf than human however in her body and grace. Her father Lord Lycian of Oren brought her back with her on the same ship as her half-brother Reynard. She was raised a Lycian and given the education deserving of a lordling. Her father then left with some adventurers in the Verge as it was known, she was only 12 while her brother was older, yet he still seemed to remain ageless to her. Her brother had helped to set up two organizations whilst in their temporary home in the VonSchlichten Inn. He then set out to meet with Enor to gain back their father’s noble titles and wealth. She was left to herself.

She spent her time working in and around the Inn and came into contact with many of the people of Aegis, this included the undead. She learned to stay hidden and hear and learn much. It was here she learned her brother’s plot to overthrow the King to re-establish a new system of government. She met members of both the Hanseti and the Orc Kingdom as she followed quietly watching and learning from her brother. She learned to wield a bow so she could take down guards in an effort to avoid being caught, this did not always work and she learned quickly how to run and hide. She watched as her brother helped the Phoenix Revolution.

Sharanai, tiring of the constant political struggle told her brother she would go to the Verge to see if she could find their Lord father. She left, but before being given a small present of a beautiful dark bone bow. He said it was a gift from those both above and below. She left immediately wondering at what he meant.

She leapt into the Verge and learned to live on her own without any person and worked hard on her bow skill and her survival skill. She began to lose her way with words and resorting to the ways of the animals to make communication with the Druids and various adventurers she met, however she did not find her father.

Time passed and word reached her of the building of ships to flee the land of death. She went to investigate and was captured by dark elf slavers and dragged onto their ships that were preparing to leave. She was stripped of all her possessions until they found the bow she had attempted to hide with her illusionary magic her brother had once taught her. They immediately began to beat upon her and treat her like less than trash. They seemed to think her an undead supporter. They locked her up in the brig for what seemed like an eternity.

The day they crashed, was the day she awoke. She immediately surveyed her surroundings and found that many of her captors had been killed, by strange exotic looking dark elves. They looked similar in many ways, but they wore more exotic clothing and had much more exotic weaponry. She looked toward the horizon and saw more ships heading that way. She walked toward the ships trying to find someone to help her. . .

Your characters ambitions:

She wishes to find her father and brother whom she both believed have arrived safely in the land. She also wishes to find who had killed her captors. She wants to find her place in the world, as she has never truly known it. She also wants to know more about what has happened, as she has been in captivity for a long time without any knowledge of information whatsoever, she misses the days of the Inn and the colorful and wonderful information she always got to find out about.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

She would survey the scene and attempt to find a clear shot at both the bandits. She would then fire until the bandits were dead. Then she may ask the elf for information and even supplies, but not force. Then she would return to the roads.

Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, good madame!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

“I am looking for information on the Dark Elves of this continent and of the Lycians, I can pay good coin for such information, do you have any? As well any supplies would be most useful, especially some light armor or arrows for my bow.”

Other Information:

I am also planning on trying to join the Mori as I am really interested in their RP and wish to be a part of that, perhaps my friend may help with my character’s growth in this matter. However if I don’t get accepted into the Mori I will of course use this character, I may even save this character if I do become Mori maybe for later RP.
