It is for this reason that I find myself unable to remain inthe Renatus Guard - my fighting skills are not what they once where and I am better suited to helping within our capital. I, Alvarius Kashi, retire from the military after serving in it for thirty years. Two men shall take my job. One named Gortan and one Arthur. They are good men and will do the Ling proud I am sure. I have received a Knighthood from King Tarus and so will be serving the nation through them. However you can still come to me to talk, or if you find yourself short of food, or for anything you need. As for the Knights, being Knighted doesn't necessarily mean you are an elite fighter. My main role within the Knights will most likely be teaching, and perhaps supplying, although I am not yet so old that I cannot defend myself from a bandit or two.
