What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:My last server (it disbanded the leader of the server was getting tired of all work and no play) was roleplaying server so ive used it before. It means not playing the game but playing your character.

Metagaming - the game universe outside of the game itself.

Power gaming-the exclusion of other considerations such as (in video games, boardgames, and roleplaying games) storytelling, atmosphere and camaraderie.

What do you expect this server will be like?:Active, tons of PvP and a good challenge.

What is your Race?: Elf!

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): At the moment I am a 39 year old elf 5'8" muscular but not large as that made it easy to run if needed. We were of high elf bloodline but when my grandfather spoke out against the king he banished us to live amongst the peasants. As i was growing up my family was very poor struggling to survive my father had to steal for us to survive. He's the one who taught me how to steal.... In my teenage years my father stole a book and inside the book it taught me how to read and write. Around when i was 18 my parents were caught stealing and were sentenced to death i had to fend for myself. I controlled a highway a few miles out of town nobody got through there without losing their gold or having an armed escort. One day the town realized that i had been controlling the highway and they decided to change that they had a man and a mule walk out of town and as i attempted to rob them i got jumped by city guards and i was sentenced to death but before they could hang me there were complications so i was sent to the stockades for a month until they could sort it out. That's where i met the orc named Grakks, he was a prisoner of war. He was one strong son of a ***** not the brightest though. After a week of being stuck in my cell with Grakks we devised an escape plan, one of the guards would always taunt us when he walked past our cell and my being good with a bow and Grakks being able to make an arrow out of anything we made a bow the string was made out of our garp and we broke the bed and used the wood for the arrow and the bow itself and we shot the guard and managed to get the keys from him. I stole the uniform and pretended to be a guard and i had said i was escorting Grakks to a general for interrogation and that's when we escaped the castle. After we escaped we found a lonely farmer in the middle of nowhere and we offered a hand around the farm in return for food and shelter. In the present I am living amongst many people in a city and nobody remembers my past and if they do they are going to forget it real quick. I am attempting to join the military for stealth work/black ops and here we are now.....

Your characters ambitions: To live a normal life without having to steal to survive

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? I would find my bow draw it. While I'm still in the shadows strike the first man down re-draw it then strike the other man down and after that quickly run over and ask the elf "Excuse me are you alright?" and he would either respond "Yes, thanks to you!" or "No... please get a doctor I'm cut pretty bad...."

Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? "Hello, how fresh is your freshest bread?" i would say he would respond "I made it this morning and it's half off today!" and then i would say "Oh in that case ill take two please." and i would pay him and leave with my bread.

Both your definitions for metagaming and powergaming are incorrect.

To be able to play on this server you need to understand what Powergaming and Metagaming are. Luckily for you there are plenty of options to be able to achieve this goal; first of all you can look on the lord of the craft wiki and then search for either "Powergaming" or "Metagaming" (and I say either, because both are on the same page), you can join our Team Speak channel (You can get Team Speak from http://teamspeak.com/?page=downloads ), or you can do a google search.

To find your vote number look at the total number of votes for this server, because you were the latest to vote, this number is your vote number.

Your biography needs fixing.

The general story is alright, but elves do not sentences their bretheren to death for simply being a theif. Even murder I am doubtful that they kill them. I reccomend reading up on elvish lore and finding out how they act properly, but the rest of your biography is alright.

Please include the entire question when writing your biography such as your characters history, personality, description and age. With the description don’t just write He is tall and old and carries around a bow. There are a lot of tall, old people who carry around bows. Get descriptive; what is your hair colour? How long? Eye colour? Big eyes? Small eyes? Do you have wrinkles? How tall are you? Are you muscled or slim but agile?

You also need to add your characters strengths and weaknesses as well as reasons for such. For example, if your character is good at swordsmanship, bows or even farming you need to explain in your biography why your character is so good in what it does and how it developed these skills.

We would like you to include some lore from the world of Aegis and/or Asulon such as names of towns and people, or even events which have happened before and your characters connection to the event. The types of lore you can include can people places such as towns and kingdoms, or even people or events (such as the exodus from Aegis to Asulon which affected almost everyone).

Both your answers to the RP questions are in need of improvement.

You cannot just write that “I kill the bandits” or “I help the elf”. There must first be some role-play such as talking and some warning before the combat takes place. Be as descriptive as possible when writing about the situation. Include all of the bandits and your actions, as well as all of the speaking that takes place. Instead of writing it like “I would do this, and then this and then the elf would thank me.” Write it like a story so: Zolgash would bellow in an attempt to scare the bandits. “Get away from that elf or you will taste my steel!” The bandits laugh at the orc and turn towards him, but still keeping an eye on the elf. “Ya don’t scare us, green flith.” The bandits charge at Zolgash, meeting steel on steel. See the difference?

You need to write a lot more for the second one. Everyone (and I mean everyone) just writes that they buy something, and leave. What is that? It shows a lack of effort in my opinion. All you have to do is use your imagination, create something innovative, exciting and fun for the reader. There are endless possibilities, for example you could write that the shop keeper is actually a bandit who is luring victims into his shop and then he gets his thug friends to come in from the rear to block your escape, or perhaps the shop keeper tries to cheat you of an item and you respond by calling the guards and something exciting happens. The possibilities are endless; all you have to do is be creative.

You have included the wrong type of "skin" as it is a screenshot we are looking for.

Your character skin is a tiny .png file that we cannot use to judge if your skin is RP enough or not. (although it would be possible to download it or view it in a skin editor, we application team members are extremely busy and do not have the time to do this.) To upload a correct image of your skin to the forums please follow these steps:

1. Go in-game and press the “F5” button TWICE. (Not once as this will show the back of your character)

2. Take a screen shot by pressing the "PrntScr" button on a windows computer or press F2 on the keyboard, then go to start => Run and type in this: %appdata%/.minecraft/screenshots

3. Find the screenshot and open it in an image manipulation program such as Paint or Gimp.4. Crop the image so that only the area close to your skin (including the skin) remains.

5. Save the file and go to tinypic.com

6. Upload the file

7. Click ONCE on the text box underneath: "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards"

8. Right click and copy the entire text

9. Paste in your new application
