A young energetic progremmer that loves Role Playing. Has played MC for the past year and builds castles and amazing mansions.

Roleplaying: Acting as a character which you have created and take on the role as them.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.

Metagaming is when you play the game knowing things out of character you aren’t supposed to know about in character and then using this knowledge to give you an unfair advantage. I suppose it’s a bit like watching a film – you know what is happening or what is going to happen, but the main character doesn’t.

Powergaming is when you roleplay with another person, but you do it pretty badly, and try and turn the situation to your advantage in a way which just wouldn’t happen in real life. By Powergaming, you would be claiming that an action was successful and not giving the opponent the opportunity to react. For example I walk up to a man and stab him in the heart saying ‘Yes I killed him’. This would be both against the Lore as you would not be roleplaying, as you have not engaged in conversation, and powergaming as you had not given the opponent the chance to flee or otherwise.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect the sever to be fun and exciting experience with hardcore RolePlaying.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I have played on my own server and many other RP servers,I left them because they were boring and it was all out of character.

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Leonardo, is a young man that is curious and mystrious. He has short brown hair with shining green eyes, he is 6ft 4 in. He is now 24 years of age and still is learning new things everyday.

He was born in the kingdom of Oren. His parents own a shop in town and were not the richest of people. They want the best for Leonardo and raise him as a civilized human being. Leonardo learned how to use a bow and use it often with his fellows in the forest.

At the age of 14, Leonardo's parents decided to engage him as a vendor in their shop. He was doing a very good job, and his parents had a pretty good reason to be proud of him. Trained in being a merchant, he knows how to interact with most types of clients.

On a normal day when Leonardo was working, a man in a hooded cloak enters the shop. Everything looks OK until the hooded man point's his sharb short sword towards Leonardo's throat. The man told Leonardo to give him all the minas in the shop's bank. Leonardo stressed by the situation, had no other choice than giving him all the minas that he had. He thought it was the best option. The hooded man took the minas and left quickly. When his parents found out what happen, they were happy that he controlled the situation without being hurt by the man but they were also disapointed that he let the man take the minas that they had. This moment in his life taught him that even merchant's job can be adventurous and dangerous at some times.

At the age of 18 was walking through the woods when he decide to leave his family and start a new life as a Ranger, so he walks home says good bye to his parents and grabs his bow, his sword, some arrows and food. He went to see if his friends were willing to come with him, but most of them said the would rather pass so they could keep there peaceful lives as farmers and merchants.

Today, he's a Ranger and Mercenary, staying the night at inns and taverns. He left his home to fulfill his dream, being an Adventurer. He's never been as motivated , and will do anything to continue onwards with the help of the people he meets on his journey. He got more friends, and still talks with his family. He enjoy's helping people everyday and likes to drink some Ale with his friends that he met and with the ones he finds!

Your characters ambitions:

To be accepted into the world and be a great leader in hope to have his own nation some day.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

Being as knowledgable as he is he knows to asses the situation before going into battle, he decides that the elf is simpley trying to defend himself and his young ones.

So he jumps in front of the elf and stabs a bandit then the other one runs away in fear.

Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

He will respond "Hello Sir, how is the life here?" then he will listen to the shop keeps stroies and news. After that he will ask for some dried meat and water and be on his way.

You are VERY close to be accepted, very close indeed.

You were denied because:

The kingdom of Oren has been destroyed, and you have not included your character's fleeing from Aegis. I would reccomend adding this to your biography :)

You cannot just write that “I kill the bandits” or “I help the elf”. There must first be some role-play such as talking and some warning before the combat takes place. Be as descriptive as possible when writing about the situation. Include all of the bandits and your actions, as well as all of the speaking that takes place. Instead of writing it like “I would do this, and then this and then the elf would thank me.” Write it like a story so: Zolgash would bellow in an attempt to scare the bandits. “Get away from that elf or you will taste my steel!” The bandits laugh at the orc and turn towards him, but still keeping an eye on the elf. “Ya don’t scare us, green flith.” The bandits charge at Zolgash, meeting steel on steel. See the difference?

You need to write a lot more for the second one. Everyone (and I mean everyone) just writes that they buy something, and leave. What is that? It shows a lack of effort in my opinion. All you have to do is use your imagination, create something innovative, exciting and fun for the reader. There are endless possibilities, for example you could write that the shop keeper is actually a bandit who is luring victims into his shop and then he gets his thug friends to come in from the rear to block your escape, or perhaps the shop keeper tries to cheat you of an item and you respond by calling the guards and something exciting happens. The possibilities are endless; all you have to do is be creative.
