The Gods!

Gods to me seem like a hazy topic at best. Some people refer to the god inferring there is one. Others claim to have seen/known multiple gods, or even go as far as telling tales of a "Hall of Gods"; which you can assume would mean there is more then one.

Who are the Gods? Is there a single god, or a myriad of smaller ones?

My thoughts are this: there is one ultimate creator who created the universe and everything in it; but enough belief would cause the formation of another god granted it has enough support and beleif. There would also be other gods, who are more powerful then the standard Aengul's and Daemons, but possess large amounts of powers and are gods in their own right such as Metztli, the god of the moon in Kharajyrian belief.

I would really appreciate everyone's opinion on this matter, as it will help the development of this server.

Comments are also greatly appreciated, if you know of a god or diety I please write it down in the comments section so that the rest of the community can share in your knowledge :)

The Monks of the Cloud Temple have gods of the sun, moons and stars. Renatus is likely adopting a monotheistic religion. I thought Aeriel was considered the one true god in Aegis? I know that when it fell a lot of players RPed that they no longer believed in her, opening the way for different religions.

In real life, there is much discussion and conflict arising from religious disagreements. Instead of searching for what is objectively true, perhaps create a new set of beliefs, and spread them IC! You might get some great RP... :)

A majority of the characters that the monks praise aren't gods they are Aenguls or Daemon, for example Aeriel was a aengul and Iblees was a corrupted Daemon... They were not gods but simply more like representitives. But it deosn't mean one cannot believe in them as though they where gods.

Cataris is correct, and heck Native lives in the U.S. so we are all protected with the 'Religious Freedom' right yadda yadda.

I do know that the 'Ancient Lore' is based on Quranic Creation Story.
