New Application

Before I do the Application I must state that I originally joined Lord of the craft long ago but I had to leave because of school and other things, And now I wish to start up a new Character.

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes, I believe I do have a good grip on the English language and Good Grammar.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I'm a fun-gi and I want to re-join this Role play server as when I did play It, it was a lot of fun and I had a great time! Upon having to leave I was very sad but now I'm back to re-join, I definitely have two different sides to me. Sometimes I'm serious, and sometimes I'm more playful. (The playful side is usually when I'm hyper, As I have ADHD) ((Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder))

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I can try to get on the server for a couple of hours every day, but because I now have restrictions. I can only have an hour long period before having to take an half an hour break. (Which sucks)

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:Role-playing refers to the changing of one's behavior to assume a role, either unconsciously to fill a social role, or consciously to act out an adopted role. I know a fair bit about Role playing now as I did it before on the server!

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: Being on this server at least a year ago now, And as a child I remember doing those Role play sort of things, Heh.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Basically, Meta gaming is coming out of character during role play, bringing things from real life into it E.g Good Roleplayer: Hail there Stranger! How are you today?

Bad roleplayer: i'm good man hey did you see that bomb over there? it's pretty bad isnt it! (Grammatical error's ARE deliberate)

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: I'm not exactly sure what it is, but I think it means that they make their character as powerful as it can get. (Sorry if I'm wrong! :( )

What do you expect this server will be like?: I know from experience on the server, that It is an amazing community of people picked very carefully and most people have Very good Grammar, and don't speak in a childish sort of term I.E: "Omg go awy u newb" To a person who is attacking them.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I play on a lot of different servers, I have left None of them and will try and play on all of them as much as possible. But I will definitely focus on this one the most.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Of course!

How did you hear about us?: I originally saw a trailer for you guys on Youtube, and I thought to myself 'WOW! that looks amazing! Ooh! I love role play, lets go join up!'

Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you?: I am unsure what vote number I was, it did not say any vote number But I have voted before.

Character Name: Vetus (Latin for 'Old')

What Race are you?: Dwarf!

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Cave Dwarf!

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Vetus, a name not well remembered at all. His life was quite a simple one, He spent his young days learning how to use a pickaxe and, as usual with a Cave Dwarf, he was very skilled at Mining. He loved mining so much It led into him gaining a mining job at the age of 13. Later on in his life he had mined A LOT, making him very strong! after the age of 60 he did not mine as much as he could do when he was younger, His whole life was devoted to mining and now it was starting to end.. upon reaching the age of 75 he still kept at it, doing his best to mine things. Until one night. He met someone who was cloaked and he could not see his face. 'Hail there stranger!' Vetus shouted 'What are you doing out here so late?' The stranger replied with 'I am here to give you something. Something special, something only you can hold now.' It was a ring. Fascinated Vetus asked why he was getting this ring, and who was giving it to him. the stranger only replied with 'The man who gives this ring is no longer among us in the living, he died last night. I do not know the reason he is giving this ring to you, I only know that its power can strengthen the bones even at an old age. Especially useful for Dwarves.' Vetus was astounded that the stranger knew he was a Dwarf! 'How do you know I am a dwarf Stranger?' He replied very shortly 'I know because the man who gives you this ring told me. Goodbye now Dwarf, I leave you with this ring but know this. If this ring falls into the hands of anyone who is not a friend who you trust with your life, then we could all be in danger..' And with that, the stranger disappeared into a cloud off Dark Black smoke. Vetus's life improved a lot after that, he was able to mine again and felt as though he was a young man again. His quest is now to find out who gave him the ring, and find out who the man who died was.

What is your Character's ambitions?: To find out who gave him the ring and who the man who died was, but to start his adventure. He must first gather weapons, armor and tools.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Pickaxe

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? His strength is unmatchable with the ring equipped, he can pick up a boulder at the age of 75 with it equipped.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Try to call for extra help, as an Old man cannot take on two warriors even with his inhumane strength.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? 'Hello, Do you have anything to improve a pickaxe?'

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Leave them there, It is not yours. And you never know whether it is a person's house. Besides! We're Dwarves! That's what we're built for. Mining.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? 'Hello there friends, I'm lost and have no idea where I am going. Do you have any Directions to the nearest Town?'

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: He would supply them and helpers, with weapons and armor. As he is not fit to fight.
