What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying is the act of impersonating another personality to either have fun or reenact a previous event

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I have played a few RPG games, and am currently helping develop a minecraft roleplay server.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is the act of using information received outside of the roleplay environment to gain an advantage over other players.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Only worrying about improving your own character, and not caring for the other characters that stand in your way. Some may use unfair tactics to achieve their goal.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I have heard of this server through PotatoOrgy's livestream, so I know what to expect. I expect there to be fair, devoted players who stick to their role well.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on a few servers, none of them RP. I left them because they were shut down due to funding.

Character Name: Isaac

What Race are you?: Human

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Northerner

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Isaac led a very normal life. He grew up on the streets of Oren, had a caring family, and never had any plans for adventure. Working in the mines with his friends, he has grown strong.

One day, while gambling with his drinking buddies, the Inn that Isaac was in burned to the ground. Managing to pull him and a few others out, he goes over to a boat by the river and passes out. The next day, Isaac wakes up on a riverbed deep in Orkish territory. His boat must have broken loose and taken him down river! Quickly pulling himself together, Isaac starts to head back upriver.

While traveling back up the river, Isaac realizes that he enjoys this very much. He finds out that he likes fending for himself; hunting, chopping down trees for fire, occasionally stopping into town for supplies, and meeting new people. When Isaac sees the fork in the road leading back to his old life of mining, drinking, and bar fights he decides to keep on walking. He occasionally stops for months at a time, resting and enjoying himself. But, he always leaves and finds new adventure.

What is your Character's ambitions?: Isaac loves to try new things. If that be food, weapons, hobbies, Isaac finds time for all.

What is your character’s favorite tool?: Isaac has become fond for his bow. It is a lot more sporty than using a sword on a hunt.(sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?: Isaac is very talented in Archery.

Other Information about your Character: Isaac has always had a fear and hatred for Orcs. Also, Isaac would do mercenary work for almost anybody that is paying.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Isaac distracts the warriors by firing upon them with his bow. Then, tracks down the Halfling to make sure he is alright.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?: How goes? I could use some armor, and if you have any arrows I would like to purchase those, too.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Isaac would be glad he found a place to spend the night. If he is with a group, he would split the findings evenly. If he was alone, he would probably just take the iron bars, having no use for the sword.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond?: Hello brethren. Do you by any chance have some food and water I could have? I am lost and quite weak. Also, do you know where I can find the nearest city?

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Isaac would gladly help the town guard. He has taken mercenary work in the past, and enjoys being of some help.

We are no longer in Aegis, Oren was destoyed and we all moved to another continent. Do some research on the server then re-write your biography. Please also include the escaping from Aegis to Asulon (and research HOW it happened)

Instead of just describing what it is that your character chooses, you need to write why your character chose it.
