Bowen 14 Share Posted March 18, 2012 Frerry sighs as he stares at the mountains longingly through the paned glass window, the crisp, golden wheat swaying majestically in the breeze. Smiling slightly he dips his a beautifully white feather into a pot of ink and begins to delicately write. I'm afrai' I ent up to this job no more, I ent about much and I would think others could do me job far better. S'pose it's a bit abrupt but hones'ly, I can' be aroun' as often. I'll still be 'elpin' build burrows and such, tryin' to contribute ter events an' such, bu' I ent capable of continuin' as Thane. And so, I s'pose it's best if I leave me title to a trusted family member, Petyr. 'E knows what 'e's doin' and will likely 'elp tha town flourish. I also bin 'avin' some thoughts. I think all elders o' the town should be able to assign the new folk with burrows an' such, dig them out 'n' all. Lighten the load they say. Ter Tibb, I think yer can 'andle all the festival stuff, righ'? Yer a damned good organizer. I'll be off to the mountains fer abit, explorin' an' what not. I 'ope ter return soon an' see yers all again. Frerry grabs some provisions to keep him sustained and puts on a thick fur-lined coat, briskly leaving the Brandybuck burrow. He heads onward toward the hazy orange sunrise. Edit: (( I decided I might aswell add this onto the thread. In the close future I will perhaps, maybe, most likely race change to a dwarf. Honestly, I hop from character to character frequently and have never settled to date. (Excluding my first character.) I think I have a problem that way, as soon as I create a new character I have been considering for some time I conjure up another idea. Honestly, I'm not great at seeking out Roleplay but I believe playing dwarf may be the way. Though their population has waned signifigantly of recent I believe their new ideas will form more open roleplay and therefore I might be able to finally settle comfortably. In-character Frerry will most likely never return from his journey and be presumed dead. I will whole-heartedly miss you all, I have enjoyed my brief time as Thane and wish you all luck in future endeavours. )) (( Re-edit: I am sincerely sorry for my abrupt disappearance though I understand I was overly inactive over the past few weeks and I would rather someone else take my position. I'm sorry to leave the festival hanging but I didn't have enough time to set it all up. Kudos to Sorsby for all the help on it though- and Belba for the mass production of ale. I hope you folks carry on with it though. Also, big thanks to Petyr for making me Thane and teaching me the ways of burrow digging. Finally, I thank you all for the great Roleplaying experience, I will reminisce fondly of all the fun times. ))
