Anri stood at the gazebo in the center of Solace, observing the commuters. She was waiting for someone, someone who challenged her to a friendly sparring match and told her to wait here. Anri used this opprotunity to improve her swordplay.

That person arrives along with some friends, and all she could do was grin in anticipation, for she was about to duel a worthy opponent.

[[OOC Stuff:

Instead of making like paragraphs or something. Try typing your actions as if you would emote it in game. This makes it easier for me to learn RP fights.

Try to let me know in OOC if I'm powergaming, godmodding, twinking, metagaming, whatever. Remember, I'm still a beginner at this, and I may powergame without realizing it.

If you have any tips for me or any RP pointers, I'd love to hear it.

Also: My character not only has a sword holstered at her back, but also a small dagger hidden within her long sleeves. Your character doesn't know this, so be prepared for her to slip it out at anytime.

By the way, first person willing to fight will be the opponent. Everyone will have to watch until it's over.]]

Seth yawns as he sits at the edge of the gazebo, playing his lute softly and humming to himself, taking a break from his supply trip. He turns his head around, to observe Anri and the oncoming party. Seth sighs as he sits sideways, his lute humming along with his ambient strumming, observing Anri and the coming group, his thin saber sheathed by his side. His runes glint slightly at the rising sun, casting a small glow on his chest. He yawns, obviously bored, watching yet another one of Salvus's shenanigans.

Longbeard sits outside of the bakery looking at the group of men, he takes a sip of his ale. When his ale is finished he stands up and walks away, thinking about the group he just saw ."what do they want?" he wanders, but that isnt for him to find out.

*Logan Stares at the grinning women.*

"What are you so happy about?" he says gruffly as if looking to start trouble.

Sitting on the stage is Celia. As she plays her harp, she sees Anri coming.

She laughs. "Only fools fight up close. The bow is a true weapon."

"I'm happy to have a casual spar of course. I'm honored to be granted the opprotunity to test my ability in combat."

Anri flips the bangs of her white hair aside and grins. "The bow may be effective in combat but it is not THE true weapon. The true weapon is many. The true weapon is the weapon necessary to achieve the upper hand, and can only be used in the hands of the gifted. A bladesman can put archery to shame if he is quick enough."

She held her sheathed sword, ready to pull it out at any time. Her face expressed a form of seriousness, and she appears ready and focus. "Who's up first?"

Arch Druid Ouity looks up from the brazier in the center of Solace, and looks at Cyndikate with an unreadable expression, After a moment, he nods. "If you would like, I can spar with you. I'm rusty, and need a bit of practice,"

*Rolls his eyes as he sets his lute down, crossing his arms while watching the two nonchalantly. His hair moves slightly with the wind as he tilts his head, keeping his saber at his side, in case he wants in on the fun.*

Ouity begins to reach for a large iron axe at his side, but seems to think better of it, and reaches into his pack for a blunter, stone axe. He swings it in a few experimental circles, and then slowly approaches her, the axe moving in confusing patterns. When he's close enough, he feints at her right side, and quickly moves to an overhand cut. The attacks arn't particularly powerful as he scopes out her abiltiy with her blade.

*Stands atop the hill admiring the stars, as he notices two figures swinging weapons around in the gazebo.

Interested, Regaki lightly climbs down from the hill, and turns the corner from behind a house, only to see Anri as one of the contestants*

"This will be fun to watch..."

*Regaki sits down on the corner, and watches the duel unfold*

Ye can defeat those wimpy archers With a good set of armor made bye the best smiths, and the best stamina, because of months of training. When a warrior finally reaches that archer he will slash him in a sec.

-laughs- Silly dwarf. The armor shall simply weigh you down. By the time you get to me you'll have an arrow in your eye.
