How much time could you be on the server weekly?: A whole lot unless my mom wants me to go somewhere.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Role Playing is when you put yourself in the shoes of an imaginary character or a person from present day or history.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: Well I role played in real life with my friends, we built forts out of legos and role played that we were knights and had our own kingdom, it went on for about a week and it was getting too serious so instead we role played on a private everquest server.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: using out of character info and allowing it to influence your character's in character action.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: When you give the other player no chance in emotes and overpower your self, like if you dodge every attack or stab someone in the face without giving them a chance.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect to be amazing and very serious, have alot of serious admins with very serious faces and very serious attitudes. Also some pretty women ;)

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I played on Fallout 3 serious rp and I left because I found that this server was more strict and sounded cooler.

Character Name: Grolak

What Race are you?: Orc

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): None

Personality: Grolak is a very relaxed orc that has bursts of Bloodlust because he is an orc and bears the curse that was bestowed upon the orcs in the beginning. Grolak has memories of his beligerent and ignorant ways that were forced upon him when he was in Mori enslavement as a gladiator and he has nightmares about the gladiators that he has slain, Grolak gets extremely depressed when he is reminded of the lives he took and feels intense regret and guilt. Grolak tries to be generous and honest so he could forget about his past.

Appearance : Stab scars on his body, Cress'mtor branding on his abdomen, a huge burn mark across his chest, bulky muscular build, light green skin, bald head, eyepatch on right eye, blue left eye, and 7ft tall 500 pounds.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Born in the orcish land of Krugmar, Grolak lived a life of constant test and trial, his father Krazith was a fisherman and his mother was one of them many orcish women that his father had impregnated, no one truly knew which of them was Grolak biological mother but they were with him for his childhood. Grolak showed a strong craving for knowledge and never wanted to klomp with the other orc children, but instead he would pick up a book and read while they fought. When Grolak was the age of 15 Mogroka sent his grunts to raid the village that Grolak dwelled in. When Mogroka raided the village he kidnapped Grolak and forced him to train in combat and abandon his thirst for knowledge.

For years Grolak trained under Mogroka and was adept with axes, when Grolak was the age of 20 the undead attacked and the portal to Draucherim opened in Laurelin, all of the strongest orcs travelled there to fight the undead, this gave Grolak an oppurtunity to slip away unseen. Grolak fled from Krugmar and encountered a strange pink elf that was running through the forests near Laurelin. Grolak followed this elf all the way to a strange portal that led to another world (the verge). After going through the portal Grolak dodged crumbling rocks and navigated through a huge dark cavern still following the pink elf, after a strenuous trek Grolak finally made it to the exit of the cavern. Grolak was in awe at the vast expanse of trees and mushrooms, Grolak followed the elf to a large docking bay filled with boats. Grolak boarded the elven boat and after days upon living on the boat the boat set sail to a strange land now known as Asulon.

Grolak was confused and didn't know where to go so he travelled for miles and miles until he found a small mushroom house in a remote forest that was owned by a peculiar elderly dark elf by the name of R'ilos. R'ilos took Grolak under his wing and taught him herbalism, druidic philosphies, and educated him on his history. Grolak was confused as to how this dark elf was already living in the new land and had himself situated so he asked R'ilos and R'ilos explained how many years ago he abandoned the druids and fled to the verge, he sailed for years until reaching the new land. R'ilos directed Grolak to the Cloud temple to begin his adventure.

Upon arriving at the cloud temple Grolak was in awe at the pure magnificence of the sight, he saw archways that led to tunnels of their own, these archways had signs labelling them corresponding to the lands that they led to. Grolak looked towards the orc archway and shook his head. Grolak was confident that he wasn't going to lead himself down the path to war and violence. Grolak was finally free to choose for himself so he chose to walk down the path leading to the Elven lands. At the end of this path there was a giant dark tunnel, Grolak muttered as he navigated to the end of the tunnel "I'd never be able to get used to this...they should light this place up." Once Grolak reached the end of the tunnel he saw a small village to his left with a sign outside of it that read "Elven Slums" Grolak walked towards the slums and was confused at the sight of wooden homes and thought to himself "Aren't elves supposed to live in giant trees...not small wooden homes."

G'oron is now 23 years of age.

What is your Character's ambitions?: To put his past behind him, and learn to control his orc bloodlust so he can become the peaceful orc he aspires to be.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Axe and hoe

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Axemastery and Lumberjacking.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

As Grolak travels from the Cloud temple reflecting on his past he spots a duo of armed warriors clad in iron armor with iron swords in their hands hassling a halfling for minas. Grolak stares off to the situation for a moment and licks his lips in hunger as he eyes the Halfling. Grolak shrugs and mutters to himself "Not worth my damned time." Then Grolak continues to walk.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

Grolak smiles and says "Actually I am interested in a book about the properties of the plants around Alras." The Merchant smiles and says "That'll be 2 minas." Grolak smiles at the sound of the price and tosses the merchant 2 minas while the merchant hands him the book.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Grolak realizes that there aren't any full grown trees near his cabin so he ventures a short distance from his cabin into a forest full of full grown trees that bear strong wood for his lumber. As Grolak is walking through this forest he comes across an abandoned home, Grolak can tell this home is abandoned because the roof collapsed into the interior and the door is ripped off of its hinges. Grolak enters the abandoned and beaten home to the sight of a distinct chest with gold trim and red linen padding on the chest itself. Grolak's curiosity overcomes him and he tears open the chest in an instant. Upon opening the chest Grolak finds four iron bars, a golden sword, and a journal. Grolak rubs his chin in thought "Hmm...I do need the ignots for my anvil and I could sell the golden sword." Grolak picks up the journal and opens it, the journal reads "Day 1: Me, my wife and my children just settled down here and we're loving it so far, in the mornings I go out fishing with my children and come back just in time for breakfast. Day 2: We've been hearing strange noises coming from the forests sorrounding our home...probably just the wildlife. Day 3: The noises are growing louder and me and my family are huddled up in the corner of our home bracing for the *a bit of scribble and the journal contains no more words*" Grolak sheds a tear and closes the chest in sadness. Grolak kneels down infront of the chest and says under his breath "The good die...young...that is why I haven't died yet."

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

Grolak staggers into the camp stricken with fatigue and hunger he exclaims "Can a good man or woman help a generous orc!?" A trader arrives to him and hands him a piece of bread and says " the whole loaf is 8 minas green skin." Grolak hands the man 8 minas and eagerly snatches the loaf out of the trader's hand.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

Grolak is approached by a town gaurd as he tries to drown out the memories of his past in a strong ale at the local tavern. The town gaurd exclaims "Sir you look mighty capable of helping the town with a problem."

Grolak doesn't turn around to meet eyes with the gaurd but instead he says with aggravation "Theres...always a problem...why can't I just...avoid these problems?"

The Town gaurd gulps in a bit of fear and says "Problems...yes..uh indeed...sir *stutters a bit* apologies...sir."

Grolak lowers his head to his flagon of ale and sobs while muttering under his breath "No more...pain...no more death...why does war have to be a crucial element to the land that we dwell in."
