How old are you?: I am 14 years young, will be turning 15 in July.

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: I feel that I have a pretty good sense of English grammar and language, myself being born in Europe and knowing 2 languages. So yes, I would say I have a good knowledge and grip on English grammar and language.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I was born in Lithuania which is in Europe where I lived for 2 years, till i moved to California! Now I am in 9th grade, and a person who loves having a good time, being with friends, playing video games, and playing basketball. I hope to when I grow up, to become a video-game designer, specifically Role-Playing games!

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I could spend approxiamtely an hour to about 2 hours and 30 minutes a day. Frankly, it all depends on the homeworkload. Weekends I can play around even 4 hours a day. So weekly i can spend about 9 hours a week to 15 hours.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: I believe Roleplaying is the act of when you can step into a characters shoes and accomplish a dream that you want to conquer. An example of Roleplaying is going into a party or a get-together dressing up as Darth Vader. The person dressed up as Darth Vader would probably be wearing a black uniform with a helmet, holding a red light-saber, or even talking like Darth.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I’ve played a couple of Role-Playing Games. When I was younger I played Runescape at times. Also Skyrim is a game that a like a lot and I feel like it so far has been my favorite Role-Playing Game. Hopefully, that will change soon

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: My knowledge of metagaming is when someone knows about something they shouldn't really know about it, probably due to someone else telling them about it. You take outside knowledge and use it within the game. This, in all cases is completely unacceptable. For example, You: hi Jake.... Jake: How do you know my name? You :Because it was floating over your head!... This is unacceptable to do so!

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Powergaming is when a player states that his or her action is successful against another player, giving the other player no chance to react. For example, without giving the player to react *Mike stabs Player 1 continuously till death*..You overpower your character and give the other no chance to Roleplay into it or react.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect it to be a server where you can have a great time; especially due to the role-playing having such a big part in this. It's where you can have fun with your character and just go into a whole new world and work with other players to make the community of the server a great place.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on a Hunger Games server, but it was unfortunately abused by corrupted admin and players, who used hacks to take advantage of the game. That's why I have been looking for a new server, and I feel like I have found a server where I can contribute greatly.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: I have...twice!

Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: Absolutely. I will do anything to make this server a better community for players and make sure that everyone has a great time!

How did you hear about us?: I heard about this server when I saw a video on Youtube of it, and i really liked it and how everyone was in role.

Character Name: Orodreth

What Race are you?: "I'm one of them jolly Elves!"

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Wood-Elf

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): "My name is Orodreth, and I was born, in the region of Malinor, as a very skillful Archer, being the son of two wood elf parents. When the disastrous chaos of Aegis occurred, my parents were forced to escape by ship. When they hit land they knew that they were going to have to start a new life, therefore they moved to Malinor. That's where I come in, and where I was born. 3 days after my parents moved into Malinor, they went out into the wilderness to hunt and get some food. While they were out there, they didn't know an Orc was among them the whole time. He was hiding in the thick brush of the woods. Then after they killed a couple pigs and wild boars, the selfish Orc cast a net over them. He killed them with a spear, just out of greed because he only wanted their minas. This an was enormous turning point in my life. I was forced to go on into the real world by myself, which was something I never wanted to do. I was scared to go out there by myself. But, it was my only choice."

"Now I am an ambitious elf at the age of 22, brown haired, wearing common elf clothes, with a quiver on my back. It has been 15 years since my parents death. I myself am not the most social person. I tend to be by myself rarely ever meeting any new people or friends. If I am asked to do something I am willing to help, but without request don't expect me to come and help you. I usually don't stay in too long because I am so fond of nature! I like to study nature, the design of it being so complex and intriguing. I don't often think of getting married but if it becomes a opportunity, I will not pass up on it. The only think I am seeking of, is an Adventure. I have dreamed of one all my life, but I have never been able to push myself out of the refugee of Malinor. Now though, I am ready to do so, and I will explore the land, and all its beauty that it contains."

What is your Character's ambitions?: “I hope to just not draw myself too much attention but rather stay away from it and be quietly concealed. ”

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): “ Without a question it has to be Glorious Bow which I retrieved from a Dwarven realm down south in the mountains where the Scaddernak's roam. My bow would take any one out with a good aimed shot.”

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?: “I’m quite the archer you could say. Thankfully, I've never had a problem with food. Always full of it. You won't find me not having a decent supply of food. Also, I can protect myself so I also never get any threats from the commom Orcs.”

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? "Stop!" says Orodreth. "Leave the halfling alone!"...."Hah! You wish elf!" said one of the warriors. Orodreth charges at them but the other warrior blocks him with his shield and Orodreth was knocked harshly down to the ground. Orodreth was enraged! He was screaming at them, despite being on the ground. Finally one of the warriors said "We don't have time with you fool!" They leave both of them as they are both on the ground. "Thank-you!" said the injured halfling. "Ah, it was the least I could do. I couldn't let them do that to you." responds Orodreth. They both walk to the local doctor and get their injuries treated.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? “Hail Merchant! You have anything that can make me a nice leather dagger sheathe. I have been looking for one of those for centuries! It's fine if you don't, Its just that I've been so anxious to get my hands on one of those." "Lucky, you!" says the merchant! "I've got one left just for you! It's Orcish make!"...."Oh thank-you thy friendly merchant, well-met I'll remember you!" Orodreth proceeds by paying the Merchant 250 minas and walks away happily with his bartering.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: The hut, stuffy smell, the roof dripping with rain, and the rotten wood floor creaking as Orodreth steps plank to plank. Out of the corner of his eye, he spots a hole under a dresser, which probably belonged to an Orc, the home it self being in a sandy region. He looked down the hole and saw there, a chest with a few iron bars, and a golden sword. Orodreth was pondering on what he was going to do. "I probably should wait a couple days, in case somebody still lives here, and comes back." thought Orodreth to himself. Two days later, nobody returns. Orodreth decides that he shall make off with only the two iron' bars, himself not being so good with them swords. He makes way back to his home, and then stores the bars in his chest.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? "Do you have any Venison, o' kind traders?" says Orodreth. "In fact, we do!" says one of the merchants. Orodreth was in joy! Venison being his favorite meat, he could never pass up on it. He gave the merchant 25 minas, with an extra 5 minas tip, for the merchants kind service. He salivating, ate the Venison bite by bite til' it was gone. "Ah, what a great meal" thought Orodreth to himself. It was a long time since he had a decent meal so it was luxurious to him.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: “Hail men! I would love to help but I have to be on my way! I've got to meet up wit an old friend from Krugmar!" said Orodreth. "Oh please! Help us just this once!" begged the guards. "Ah, okay if I must. Just this once though!" replied Orodreth. The men proceeded by flanking the bandits, but it backfired on them as they were being waited for in the trees above them. Just when the bandits were going to leap down on them, one of the guards heard a scuffling in the trees and they all retreated back. Orodreth told the bandits "Stop and turn around! Go back to where you came from! If you don't proceed by doing so, you will be assaulted." The men complied and headed back from where they came.

I am very sorry, but your application has been moved to the denied section of the forums. There are numerous reasons for this, all of which I have included in my feedback below this message. In the mean time there is an abundant source of information, stories, guides and other helpful tips to get you on your way to being accepted; all you need to do is look around. I would suggest the lord of the craft wiki and application submissions section of the forums to start off your little quest to make the best application. Good luck!

The reasons that I have denied you are:

Your definition of Roleplaying is not what we are after.

Your current definition of Roleplaying displays to me that you do not fully understand what Roleplaying is all about. Please go back and so some research as to what Roleplaying is. I needn’t remind you that this is a Roleplaying server, if you do not know how to role-play or do not show evidence that you are keen to learn how to role-play I suggest you find a Minecraft server better suited to your needs.

You did not give valid examples of RP, or you did not describe how your examples are RP.

You need to describe to us how the games or locations you have talked about pertain to an RP environment.

RPGs or Role-Playing Games are not RP’s.

Games such as World of Warcraft, Skyrim, Rift or similar do not count as Roleplaying as there is no person to person interaction within a Roleplaying scenario (unless of course you were on a Roleplaying server in which you need to explain where and how you role-played to show your understanding of the term).

You need to have a character last name.

Unless you have a specific reason for why you do not have a last name of your character, you need to write a last name to show that you have put some in-depth thought processes into developing and creating your character.

Your biography has a lot of errors.

You have not included any (or much) lore from the world of Asulon or the lore you did include contradicts that of Asulon. I recommend that you do a lot of research as to what you race is and how they act, as well as towns and places that you could use in your biography. I would also like to note that the entire server escaped from Aegis about 25 in game years ago to move to Asulon, I suggest you do some research on this point. Do note this is not Skyrim or Lord of the Rings, we have our own universe with our own races. For ideas and lore you can look on the Lord of the Craft wiki (link on the main page), the Role-play or History sections of the forums or better yet; talk to the people themselves. Just join in our Team Speak channel and ask around! We welcome new people :)

Every single thing in your application must have a justification. For example:

John’s father taught him swordsman ship and the lay of the land. X BAD

John’s father was a retired swordsman in the Oren military, after the undead attacks and the moving to Asulon he decided it was time that he lay down the sword for more important matters, family. Now days John’s father teaches John the way of the sword, not so that he can join any particular military, but so that he can defend himself for future experiences to come. √GOOD

You cannot make Orcs the heartless, souless monsters of most video games. They are different in this; bloodthirsty yes, but not without mercy. They do not just go around murdering every single applicants parents.

Scaddernak's do not usually hang about in dwarven areas, only in the desert sands near the orcs. In any case you woud not be able to defeat a Scaddernak in combat as they are extremely powerful and resilient. I would imagine your arrows would bounce harmlessly off its carapace.
