My name is Michael and I am a fun person to roleplay with, when i was younger me

and some friends used to play D&D (Dungeons and Dragons) together. It was so much

fun being a player and being Dungeon master, I am also serious when needed and can be very helpful

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I would say 8+ hours

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

I know a fair bit about roleplaying from races to classes (with my favorite being an archer)

i know that there are times for fun and times for being serious, i also like how what you do

impacts the future. My definition of role play is well, TO PLAY IN YOUR ROLE if its being

a drunken dwarf to a nimble elven archer you need to be your character that you have made

for yourself and imagine your in that world!

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

I have alot of experence in roleplaying as it is my favorite genre (next to sandbox) i play alot of

role playing games, heres a short list

Role Playing games i've played

Fallout series

Elder Scrolls series (morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim etc)

D&D (Dungeons and Dragons)

alot of MMOs such as:

World Of Warcraft

Forsaken worlds

Rift

Guild wars

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is

I believe Meta-Gaming is somewhat of fore-knowledge, from a previous character, done the story

before or having knowledge from other "out of game" sources so i think it is kind of cheating and less fun

Example: when playing D&D and doing a story again, say there's an important person in the mountains

the people who have played it before will head for the mountains immediately without having their

characters talk to people and find out. This is a sense of fore-knowledge.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:

Power-Gaming is a sense of self image to others in a virtual space its almost like an obsession

with leveling up and wanting to be more powerful just to kind of "show off" or be respected by

other players who are lower then them, giving themselves an ego boost, Powergaming is also

the reason why "grinding" (an act of staying in an area killing over and over to level up.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I would "expect" this server to be a fun role playing server with guilds, raids, camps and outposts

just to name a few, with large castles armys wars and some villages. i "expect" this server to be

a whole lot of fun!

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

i have really only been on one but spent ALOT of time on it and it was

Embarker but i left because of the community and the server is Inactive and idle at the moment

yes i have read the rules and they are perfectly reasonable and i will abide by them

and respect them.

My friend Atravim had told me about this server and said it was rate as one of the top RPG servers

No, this is my first application.

IN-CHARACTER

Name: Miziyaki Israphgar

Race: Elf

Sub-Race: Don't have one

Biography: As a child Miziyaki lived in Elandriel and used to hunting with his father, his father taught him all of the skills he currently posses

with a bow. At his school he was always teased by the other wood elves for his lighter skin and said things like "go back to Malinor"

or "look out its a ghost" these hurtful comments against Miziyaki made him upset and when he got home he would tell his father who

would say "its special being different you stand out those other elves are just annoyed as they aernt like you" things like that would

usually cheer Miziyaki up after the fourth time he just didn't care anymore and his lovely caring nature started to turn sour. By the time

he was 18 he could get a bulls eye from 300 meters away and was faster than all the others. They all still teased him with comments

like "hes only this good because he has no friends to distract him!" then all the others would laugh along with it he grew to ignore it.

Miziyaki and his father went out hunting one night but his father was attacked by a bear Miz quickly pulls out his bow and went to shoot

it but it was too late his father was dead, Miz ran back to the village to tell the others. They came quickly to his fathers aid but it was still

too late so they carried him back to Elandreil to give him a burial. The next day Miz went back to his normal practicing spot with the others

in their usual spot as Miz shot another bulls eye one of the others yelled out "you can hit 'em here to bad you couldn't hit it when it was a

bear!" the people around him laughed, Miz sick of it all turned to him pulled back his bow and shot the boy in the head as everyone around

him rushed to the dead boy. Miz was then taken to court and exiled but the court, Miz at this point still didn't care. He packed up his things and

and headed west to Cloud Temple bringing nothing but some food, water, bow and a quiver of arrows along the way he found a young human

wearing very "bogan" style of clothing and he said his name was Atravim and was heading to Cloud temple as well.

What is your Character's ambitions?: His Goal is to become the greatest huntsman in the land

What is your character’s favorite tool? Bow and Arrows

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Archery

Other info: Miziyaki wears the colors Red and Black in his hair symbolizing the blood of his father (red) and his heart and emotions (Black)

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him,

how does your character respond?

Response: Miziyaki would crouch down behind something and watch for just the right moment to peg them off one by one then approach the halfling

and give him some money

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares,

the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

Response: Miz would not care much for what he is saying and ask what does he have on sale and if it interests Miz he will buy it and maybe haggle a little

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Response: Miz would use it as shelter if it is night time and take some of the iron for arrows

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

Response: Miz replies back and ask them if he has any food on offer for him as he is hungry

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their

support. How does your character act on this information?:

Response: Miz would accept and get a squad of 3 to come with him and they would tactically start taking them out with miz in the shadows pegging them off and aiming up a nice shot for the leader

Denied. Your definition of powergaming is wrong, your open response answers need to be extended and have more RP (include dialogue!), your character is a ridiculously overpowered sniper, any murder that isn't in self defense needs an accepted villain application, and your formatting needs to be more readable (bold/color questions, no weird line breaks, etc.).

You may post an improved application after 24 hours.
