What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying is to play as a character completely free of any outer world injustice. You can be whatever you can imagine. You are what you want, and you are only limited by your imagination.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: A couple forum rps, a WoW server, and some MMORPGS.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Metagaming is to use something you don't know in character do something that affects other players or yourself. You learn this from something OOC. You can't kill that orc because you heard someone mention a plot to kill you in Teamspeak.

Character Name: Walas ‘Wal’ Donal

What Race are you?: Human

What Sub-Race are you?: Southeron

Biography: Wal is from a family of Southeron farmers, who passed the trade on for decades. But, due to a drought in their farming area, the Donal clan moved to the slums of Arethor,w here a life of pain and poverty followed. This all happened when Wal was 10 years old.

On his 22nd birthday, a debt shark and his goons burned down the Doanl home, killing all but Wal and his sister Farene. After griefing for a week, he decided he was going to do what his father always wanted him to do; Farm. And make a honest living, not the crime his brothers and him had to endure. So, Wal went on a journey, traveling throughout Asulon, looking for a home to call his own.

Wal's personality is somewhat of a smart alec, and no joke is too inappropiate to say. He is very interested in all ladies, but when someone needs to be serious, he will be the first to tell them to shut the heck up! Only brave when he is offended or drunk, he will usually try to stay clear of combat that doesn't net him any prizes.

Wal is 5'9, not the tallest of people but around it. He has a light brown head of hair, along with a bit of stubble on his chin. He has light brown skin.. This makes him look odd without a hat on, so he wears a cloth and leather cap ontop of his head, protecting him from most ridicule. He wears of light brown coat and a cloth under shirt. He has black pants on and a boot that is white on the sole and brown on the top.

What is your Character's ambitions?: Create a farm, get rich, or if all else fails join the army of a nation.

What is your character’s favorite tool?: A axe, due to the ease of use without skill. color]

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?: Farming. Wal knows his way around a hoe.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?: Did I ever tell you how I saved a halfing from a pair of orc thugs? Quite the tale, if you ask me. Well, this was back when I was 17, so I was quite the heartthrob in the local tavern, if I don't say so myself. I was walking back to my home from a 'meeting' with two young Northerners when I see these 2 orcs, maybe double my size, harassing a halfing, maybe half my size! So, I walked over to them and got inbetween them and the halfing, said in my nicest tone 'Bugger off.' Then, I poked them both in the eyes. I know, a real feat, considering my aim had to be right, but, I was happy and thought I was invinsible. After that, I grabbed the halfing by the arm and run off, deep through the alleys of Arethor slums.

''Nothing, but you could get that lasses name for me? For a kiss?' Wal smiles are the shopkeeper, trying to make it obvious he is joking.

'You apostate you, I am gonna report you to the... Orcs!' The shopkeeper yells, shaking from the thought of homosexuality.

'I'm joking you old couk...' Wal says, walking back into the busy alleys of the marketplace.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

You know, once I found a abandoned shack, right in the woods! So, as soon as I realized it was deserted, I broke in and looted the place. Anything to better myself in this world, eh? By the furnishings, I reckon it was a halfling living there, trying to better himself. Don't what was doing with a sword and iron bars, but what was I to complain?

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?:

'Hail, I be Wal of the Donal clan, of Southeron. I am lost in these woods, and I haven't had real food for 5 cycles. Please, I beg of you, could you spare me a meal and a map? I have some things to trade you, but not much.' Wal explains, watching the expression of the biggest member of the camp.

'Oh, give him a fish. We have enough to feed the whole army of Renatus!' A Northener fiddling with some bones says.'

'Only a bit, then be on your way!' The large human says.

'I thank you for all your kindness, it is much appreciated.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

move around the crowd gathered around the town crier, half pushing half sliding to the front of the crowd. There, a voluptous man is screaming out a call for aid in the clearing out of bandits outside the small town I am in. There are 5 fully armed men behind him, staring at the crowd as if to dare them to tango with them. Arrogant fools.

'I volunteer!' I yell, and the crier quickly explains to me what is happening before going back to his shouting.

'There is a group of 7 bandits on the trail leading to Karik, and we need to disperse them before we lose any more shipments. You will get a full set of iron armour in reward, and a sword that is said to curse the victim on strike.' I nod to the crier, then stand with the other members of the party. By the end of the hour 5 more people have joined, making the odds stacked in our favour for odds.

I don't like to go into detail about killing, but we lost 5 and they lost 7. Death always scares me, but it is a fact of life.

P.S. If the meta gaming and power gaming definition is still lacking, I went and read a bunch of accepted application and reworded it for myself.

Good on adding the personality and appearance but your biography is still lacking, you dont even explain why there were "debt sharks" (a non-rp term imo), and honestly no one has to die in your bio....expand your bio to add more history

Your rp defintion could use a little work as well

your ORQs look good, aside from the powergaming, the unrealistic actions, and the actions that go against your character...
