Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Indeed, I do.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: Well, I like to make jokes occasionally, but I am mature. I may be younger than others, but I'm more mature than most my school. I like long walks on the beach.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Once a week, but I'll be on more frequently during the summer. I have school to attend to.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Okay, well I think Roleplaying is about choosing your own destiny, such as Skyrim and Fallout. This would be the first Roleplaying Minecraft server I have been on, but I think I can do pretty well. If I were whitelisted to this server, I would put the "Playing" in "Roleplaying." To put it in my words, I think Roleplaying is to get out of Your life, and get into the video game character's life. You can make your own choices, live your own life. A way out of reality.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: Well, one day, I was walking down a beach in Skyrim, and this walrus attacked me. Quite a surprise to me, actually.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is to talk to another person from the server outside the server with another way to contact them. Say I was playing with my friend on this server, I come across another player, we didn't know what to do. We contacted on Steam, asking each other if we should kill them, or let them be. That, in my words, is what Meta-Gaming is.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-Gaming, in my words, is to say something, but you don't do it. Say you say something, like, "Rech kills Sathras." I never did it, I just said I did. If I were to use it in the server, I would say it to someone, who may have, griefed my home, or killed my friend. Yet, I always succeed in the way I say it.

What do you expect this server will be like?: Well, I've been talking to a friend who frequently plays on this server, he tells me it's really fun. So, I expect this server to be more fun than most servers I've played on. But I'm not sure yet.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: Well, I've played on many servers. My main servers have been PYD-Craft, ForgeKraft, and Amethyst Blade. PYD-Craft, I quit because there has been a few new owners, and the server has lost most my friends who played it, and I have nothing to do on it. But I still occasionally go on it, to see who's on. ForgeKraft I have not left, it's my friends' server. Finally, Amethyst Blade, I left because there were so many griefers, and the server went down a lot. It was a great server before.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes, I have. I understand no griefing and PVPing, which are great.

Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: Yes I do, I have never broken any rules on any other servers, I have never been banned from servers, except for one. I was randomly banned whilst playing on a server with my friend.

How did you hear about us?: Well, my friend, marioluigi414 (aka Sathras) told me about this server, and gave me the website.

Have you previously made an Application? If so could you link us to your last Application?: No, this is my first application.

Character Name: Rechared

What Race are you?: Human

What Sub-Race are you? Elven (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):Rechared is 15, 5'5'', never had very many friends as a child. He lived with his uncle. He lost his parents when he was 4. He doesn't know what happened, his uncle took me one day, and he never saw them again. He was 5 when his uncle started training me in the way of the Assassin. His uncle took him out everyday, and they trained. They trained everyday his whole life. When they weren't training, they studied.

Years past, and no sign of his parents came up. He kept training, his uncle helped him carve a bow, then he trained him how to use it correctly. As he trained more, he became a very skilled Assassin. They would climb trees, and run across the buildings in the city. They would pull of assassinations for the ones who were needed to be. They killed for the good, they never killed civilians, or the innocent.

Years passed, he became the age of 15. Word came in that his parents have been killed. He learned that he had an older brother, by the name of Sathras at the age of 17, but did not know what he looked like, nor what he was like.

Later in life, Rechared and his uncle were on a mission, but then it started to go wrong. They're mission was to kill the Creeper stalking outside the city. He kept vandalizing property, and harming people. They were sent by the city to assassinate him. Rechared uncle was about to kill him in his sleep, but then he had awoken. The Creeper turned around, and noticed him with his sword out. He didn't have much time to get the kill, he died in battle. I never got to say goodbye. Or even say I loved him.

After that, Rechared ran. Far. He never turned around. Never turned back. He had no family left that he knew. That he loved. So he kept running, ran across houses, ran across trees. Until he came across a man, walking alone in a trail, in the woods. Rechared started to follow him. He seemed alone. Sad. He followed him, until he was ambushed by some bandits. He saw them, but never said anything. He didn't want to give away my position.

After they attacked him, Rechared sat there. Watching. They took his money, his diamonds, and everything else of value to him. At first, Rechared didn't do anything. They never hurt him, just stole from him. Until one took out a blade, and stabbed him in the stomach. At that instance, he was shocked. As soon as Rechared realized they were going to kill him, he jumped down there to save the poor man. The man was bleeding badly. There were five bandits. Easy kills. Rechared killed them all but one, he got away. Rechared went to see if the man that was attacked was okay, he grabbed his money and items, then handed it back to him. Luckily for him, Rechared was carrying a health potion and a few grilled porkchops. As he was handing him the potion, the man tried speaking, Rechared didn't understand him, because he was gurgling blood. He pointed behind Rechared, and he looked back. The bandit who got away had returned, with friends. They all had shovels, except the one that had gotten away. He had a sword. I suppose he wanted to be the one that killed Rechared.

Rechared picked up the bleeding man, and started running. The bandits had him surrounded. He didn't know what to do. They took him down, Rechared was outnumbered.

A few hours later, he had awoken. They stole hi money, weapons, and armour. The man was awake. He asked Rechared if he was okay. He responded with "As a matter of fact, I'm not." the man chuckled. He knew that joke. He told me it was pretty old. He was cooking some beef. Rechared looked around, but couldn't find his bow. He asked the man if he had seen it. He shrugged and said the bandits probably took it. That was when Rechared got a bit infuriated. He told the man that he hand carved it with his uncle, that had died that very day. Then he told the man about his life. He didn't include about him being an Assassin, not knowing how the man would respond to that. He told Rechared about his mother and father, and how they got murdered. His father was killed by the undead just a few days ago. His mother died in the war. Rechared asked him what his parents' names were, and that he didn't know his parents very well. Rechared was pulled away and forced to live in the country of Asulon. He told him that that was Rechared parents' names, as well. They figured out that we were brothers, because both their parents had died, and that they were both informed very recently of these things.

They started walking, searching for the bandits who had attacked them. Rechared needed to get back his bow. This has been the story of Rechared, so far...

What is your Character's ambitions?: Find the bandits who stole my bow. Also, to assassinate the ones who need to be. Especially the ones who the citizens of Asulon tell me to assassinate.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Bow. Most definitively.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Assassination without being detected.

Other Information about your Character: Well, my character is the brother of another character on the server, Sathras. He lives in Asulon. He is a great Assassin. He likes to wear Iron armour, and use Iron weapons. Because diamonds are too mainstream. My character can also play a bit of the lute.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Well, since they are not killing the Hafling, or harming him, I would go up to them, and demand them to give back the money, and tell them to leave him alone. I wold also tell them that if I were to see them around their harassing him again, or anyone else, I would kill them.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? I would ask the merchant what exactly he had for sale, and if he had any armour. If he has no armour, I would ask him where I could get some fine armour. If he told me what he had, and he had something of interest to me, I would ask him the price of the item(s).

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Well, I would take the Iron, and turn it into a sword, or some armour. The gold sword shows no interest to me, besides it being tradeable. All it would do is weigh me down, and I would probably just drop it on a later date.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? I would ask them if they were my friends or my enemies. If they responded with "Friend" I would sheathe my weapons, and become their friends. I would not want to become enemies with the friendlies. If they responded with "Enemy", I would tell them that I'm not there for a fight, and walk away.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: I would recon the area where the bandits live. I would watch them, see what they're doing. When they least expect it, I'll drop in on them. Take them out, one by one. After I kill them, I shall collect my reward.

Why did I deny you?

Your powergaming definition was incorrect. This is a roleplaying server, where you make your own path, not an RPG where you select skills, grind mobs, etc. This is a server that we use our imaginations on! The form of powergaming you mentioned was the type only seen in RPGs.

Your metagaming definition was incorrect. Again, it did not show everything that it means to us, and thus, is not acceptable. You need to include examples, make us sure that you know what you are talking about.

You answered your ORQs in the future tense. Your character is there right now, in that situation, and he is acting right now. There is no 'I would' there is 'Bob IS'. For he is there, and he is in that circumstance.

Your biography and your ambitions included villainous acts. These acts cannnot be undertaken on the server without the use of a villain application.

Biography had heaps of powergaming.
