What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:Roleplaying is when you can make your own character and play as him in a game. Its like living someone elses life. Youre character can be just anything you imagine a knight,an assassin whatever you want. Thats why i love roleplay

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:Ive played Wolrd of warcraft for about two years now and ive played on smaller roleplay servers in minecraft

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:Meta-Gaming is when gain information by talking to someone OOC then uses that information and finds out that then you find out it does not exists in character. Its hard to explain

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:Its when youre trying to get something like 50 gold gold and forgets about how youre character would act. Like puching someone off a cliff or something so that he cant do a thing about it and just go loot his corpse. Its a really bad thing to DO!

What do you expect this server will be like?:A very detailed and fun roleplay server with many players

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:Ive just played on small roleplay servers that mostly shut down or i left becausse there was no real roleplay

Character Name:Erik Lightningblade

What Race are you?:Im a human

What Sub-Race are you? Im a northerner(note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):Erik Lightningblade does not know where he was born. Hes a northerner but moved to a cabin a kilometer outside Renatus when he was two. Hes mum Alicia Lightningblade runned a bakery in Renatus, hes dad Karl Lightningblade were an assassin. Once Erik turned 5 hes dad gave him a sword and an assassin suit. Hes dad began teaching Erik how to use the sword,how to stay hidden in cities or forests and how to kill unnoticed. When Erik was 20 he began working as a mercenary. He got many jobs and did them very well. Most of the people he killed didnt looked murdered, it looked like it had been an accident as if someone fell off a ladder or something like that. Erik was becoming rich when the unbelievable happened. An orcish raiding party was outside Renatus. When they saw he the cabin Erik and his family lived in they walked towards it. Inside the cabin was Alicia and Karl. Erik was on a mission in Renatus. The orcs kicked in the front door and walked in. Karl told them to lay down the weapons so that no one would get hurt. The orcs laughed and said that he would lay down his sword or they would kill him. But Karl knew they would kill him and Alicia anyway so he attacked them and took

them by surprise. He killed 7 of them before he got killed. Alicia just stood there stunned as she saw her husband die. Then the orcs killed her and took all their money and valuables. When Erik returned he saw hes parrents and began to cry. When he saw a orcish war axe lying on the floor he got furious. He swore that he would kill the orcs who did this to his parents. But he was smart enough not just heading off blindly and hoping he would find them. He continued working as an mercinary and began to travel from city to city as an assassin. Trying to find the orcs that killed his parents while working as an assassin. Erik is about two minecraft blocks tall =) and have blue eyes and black hair. He wears his assassin dress and uses its hood to cower his face.

What is your Character's ambitions?:To find and kill the orcs that killed his parents.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?He sneaks up behind them and knocks them unconscious.Then asks the halfling if hes heard anything about orcs raiding in this area.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?Hi, have you heard anything about orcs raiding in this area? Ill give you a couple of coins for the information.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:He would tale the sword and leave what he thinks is the swords value in coins in the chest.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?Hi, thank good i found you i need to buy food and supplies, by the way youve heard anything about orcs raiding this area?

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:He sneaks to them in hope of that they are orcs.

Why did I deny you?

Short answers in the ORQ section are not adequate. We need to know what your character sees, thinks, smells, feels and hears in that situation, to an extent that we are there, and we know exactly how your character would react if it were allowed into the world of Asulon.

Your biography included instances of powergaming. A child at that age could not use a weapon efficiently, let alone, pick one up. A 5 year old would have to be seriously twisted to assassinate people.

Your biography was also cliche. We are looking for imagination and creativity in roleplay. Your biography is one of the hundreds I have seen that included the same things happening, orcs killing parents, raided villages and suchlike.

Your powergaming definition was incorrect. This is a roleplaying server, where you make your own path, not an RPG where you select skills, grind mobs, etc. This is a server that we use our imaginations on! The form of powergaming you mentioned was the type only seen in RPGs.
