Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:

Im a average teenager that loves sports and Minecraft. i live in Arizona so when its to hot to go out side hang i find Minecraft a good substitute for hanging out with friends. When its not to hot to hang out with friends i love playing football, last year i got to go to Florida to play in a national tournament and my team took 3rd place in the country!

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

I can spend up to 35 hours a week on the server, 18 hours at the least.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

Roleplaying is being any character or thing that you want. Its pretending to be someone you aren't and letting your imagination run free. Roleplaying is all about creativity. thinking up a character. It's also a chance to create person from scratch, like thinking up his emotions, what he looks like, what race is he what are his goals, dose he have any goals. role playing is a chance to make up your very own character from scratch, and then being that character.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

Yes I started my own roleplaying server, it got about 45 people on it then i could not pay for the server any more. from that server i got to have a lot of practice, and now im am very good at all role-play servers

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:

Meta gaming is taking information from the real world like skyp and using it in the game. For example if your friend told you (out of game) that he had gold or iron and then in the game you say to him can i have some gold you told me about, that would be Meta gaming. Its is meta gaming because you are using information in the game that u learn out of the game.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:

Power gaming is doing something like a attack on a player but not letting him know you are or not giving the player a chance to react to your attack. That is power gaming because the player could not do anything to stop your action.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect the server to be a new experience to all things minecraft and role play, I also know that it will be fun.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I played on a faction server called Twistedpvp, I became good friends with the owner and left because the server had to many hackers

i am from the elf race.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Well it all started when i was born, 18 years ago i was then as i am now, i have i love for all animals , i can grow the best crops in my village i have long brown hair and green clothes. but those aren't the important part, you see i was not raised as normal elf's should be i was raised by humans that found me under a huge tree in the woods. I got to say i saw it coming, after i turend 13 my .. ears grew long , my mom said it was just me geting older. I new that wasent the truth , i have seen elfs before, they look just like me skinny, long ears.... just like me. i could tell that my parents didn't know that i would turn out to look like this because they seemed well... deferent around me like i didn't make them proud.

Now well im running away i have to find my true friends, family, and maybe just maybe my parents it wont be easy. Even though i look like a elf

we are far from being similar. I dont talk the same as them, I dont act the same as them. Maybe my parents will act like me. That is if i find them. Im off to go on a journey to find my family. I dont care if i have to slay a dragon, or anything of that mater... I will find them. i have what it takes, im not any new to the sword, in fact im a pretty good fighter .i would go practice all the time back when i was little i hade a crazy idea that maybe one day i would become this hero or king , but lets just see ware my first journey takes me . Maybe just maybe i could end my journey as a hero or a king.. and that is why im running away....

What is your Character's ambitions?:

i wish to run off and find my real family, i wont stop tell i get to them i dont care how long it takes.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):

i have had many practice with the sword from when i was little playing games with my old human friends we would run of in the wilderness just playing games, ha i remember we would use sticks that we found on the ground for swords. I also have a lot of practice from hunting i used to do it a lot when i had a lot of things on my mind.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

my most skilled talent is hunting with any sword i can get his hand's on, im not the best but i am pretty good.

i am not good with bow's at all i can spend all day trying to get the arrow on the target but i cant, I know that elf's are suposed to be good with them but i guess the whole being raised by humans thing cuts me some slack.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

walked up to the halfling and i get on one knee "go get help" i said to him he had a look in his eye like we was to scared to say any thing. Then he ran off as i turn around one of the warriors swung straight for my face with his axe i backed up and started shouting "Help Help" as i waited for help i got out my sword for a distraction i hear people coming it was the hafling and to guards and i send the warriors to jail.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

"oh hello I've been travailing for days do u have any milk or maybe some pork?"

the man looks me funny "i havent seen you around" the man says and then rings a bell new comer discount he screams with a smile on his face "now what did you say u want again"?

"some food would be nice" i say, the man hand over a chicken. i reached into my pocket for money

"hey its on the house" the man says. i walked away telling the man i would come again

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

as i opened the chest i see riches i turn around to make sure no one currently lives here. i take every thing in the chest ,i leave a note that said "helo my name is Livelin Grant and if your in your house reading this then yes i took your stuff but dont be mad, i am not a bad man if this stuff is really yours then come and tell me every thing i took and the stuff is yours."

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

i see a trading camp in the distance, about to pass out i scream "help help I've been lost for days in the wilderness" I see people runing to me

"what happend" a man said

"i dont remember much sir.. please do you have any food?"

the man shouts "get this man some food for god sake"

"god bless you sir" i say managing not to pass out.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: I walk up "I.....I would like to fight sir" i say. the man hands me a sword and leather armer.

"thank you" i say. i look around me only four other men fighting with me.

"this could be bad" a small elf says . i start to run for the bandits , i take out my sword and stab the bandit in the middle. Then i hit one in the face and tell the bandits to go away. Two bandits run but the one i hit in the face is charging for me i step back then trip on a bush. the bandit is getting ready to hit me , i close mt eyes but nothing i open them and the bandit is died on the flour with ten arrows stuck in his cheats. I look back happy to be alive.

I am very sorry, but your application has been moved to the denied section of the forums. There are numerous reasons for this, all of which I have included in my feedback below this message. In the mean time there is an abundant source of information, stories, guides and other helpful tips to get you on your way to being accepted; all you need to do is look around. I would suggest the lord of the craft wiki and application submissions section of the forums to start off your little quest to make the best application. Good luck!

The reasons that I have denied you are:

Your grammar makes sections of your application hard to understand.

While grammar is not a vital part to becoming accepted, we require a certain standard of grammar to be used so that you can be understood during an RP interaction. When posting your application please check and double check what you have written to make sure it is of the best standard possible. Some other solutions are to use a word processing program which spell check capabilities or to use www.spellcheckplus.com . The latter is a very useful website which gives detailed descriptions on how to impove upon your grammar and spelling, without the option of just fixing something with a single (or double) click.

You need to expand on your both of your powergaming and metagaming definitions.

Currently your definitions are very basic. You need to write more than just a sentence or two. You need to really describe what these things are and how they relate to role-play. Also remember to never plagiarise and to always include an example to display your understanding of the concept.

Your biography is unrealistic and contains many errors.

An elven child is extremely rare, easily recognisable and would be coddled by the elves not thrown out or lost.

You have not included any (or much) lore from the world of Asulon or the lore you did include contradicts that of Asulon. I recommend that you do a lot of research as to what you race is and how they act, as well as towns and places that you could use in your biography. I would also like to note that the entire server escaped from Aegis about 25 in game years ago to move to Asulon, I suggest you do some research on this point. Do note this is not Skyrim or Lord of the Rings, we have our own universe with our own races. For ideas and lore you can look on the Lord of the Craft wiki (link on the main page), the Role-play or History sections of the forums or better yet; talk to the people themselves. Just join in our Team Speak channel and ask around! We welcome new people :)

Your biography is not substantial enough. You need to write more about your character, write more detail and more depth. If your biography is less than two paragraphs long or is a bit too short it will be automatically denied. You need to write a minimum of two paragraphs (which in themselves must contain at least five full sentences).

You need to complete the entire biography, detailing all your characters history, age, personality and description. We also like to see little role-play quirks such as habits like the constant brushing back of a fringe, or the scratching of an itchy palm.

Every single thing in your application must have a justification. For example:

John’s father taught him swordsman ship and the lay of the land. X BAD

John’s father was a retired swordsman in the Oren military, after the undead attacks and the moving to Asulon he decided it was time that he lay down the sword for more important matters, family. Now days John’s father teaches John the way of the sword, not so that he can join any particular military, but so that he can defend himself for future experiences to come. √GOOD

Your skin is not acceptable.

Please select a different skin as your skin is not acceptable for either RP reasons, or is just way too plain, common or does not fit the lore of the server.

You need to embed the screenshot of your skin.

For me to accept you I must be able to view your skin as I need to judge whether it is acceptable for this server, reason being if someone joins this server, but do not show their skin but they have a Tron skin on I would be in big trouble, but for me to be able to view your skin it must also be embedded. The reason your skin needs to be embedded is because recently people have been linking some dangerous websites to where the image of their skin has been hosted. To avoid this we request that the image is directly linked to this website either as an upload or being embedded into the post itself. You can do this by following this tutorial:

1. Go in-game and press the “F5” button TWICE. (Not once as this will show the back of your character)

2. Take a screen shot by pressing the "PrntScr" button on a windows computer or press F2 on the keyboard, then go to start => Run and type in this: %appdata%/.minecraft/screenshots

3. Find the screenshot and open it in an image manipulation program such as Paint or Gimp.

4. Crop the image so that only the area close to your skin (including the skin) remains.

5. Save the file and go to tinypic.com

6. Upload the file

7. Click ONCE on the text box underneath: "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards"

8. Right click and copy the entire text

9. Paste in your new application

Some or all of your answers to the Open Response questions need a lot of improvement.

You need to include an entire situation rather than half situations. The grammar of your application makes some of the situations rather hard to read or understand.

Here is an example of a good response:

Josh walks up to the man standing behind the rough oaken market stand. The sounds of a busy market can be heard all around him. An annoying fly buzzes around his head, so he absent-mindedly begins to inefficiently swat it away. “Ah, greetings shopkeeper! I was just browsing your wares.” The shopkeeper nods at Josh and then turns towards another customer to attempt to assist them the way all market shopkeepers must. Suddenly Josh felt a slight tugging sensation on his belt. He was about to brush it off as nothing, perhaps just someone bumping into him until he realised his belt was slightly lighter. He noticed a man beginning to run off in the opposite direction of himself. He glanced down to see that his coin purse was missing. He put two and two together and then shouted at the top of his lungs. “STOP THEIF!”… √ GOOD!
