I am a bit of an adventurer and enjoy rock climbing and other out door activities. I spend my free time playing video games, recently just minecraft and skyrim.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

Currently I could put in about 6 to 8 hours but during the summer when schools out I could put in 9 to 12.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

Roleplaying is the act of being something or someone that in reality you are not it is the act of believing you are something but consciously knowing you are not really there and applying yourself like you were actually that thing or person.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

I have not had too much of experience at Roleplaying in a Minecraft community or other video games unless playing mid-evil fantasy games such as Skyrim and Runescape count.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:

Meta-gaming is the act of illegally using information within roleplay that your character does not know. This may ruin or take the fun out of the game spoiling it for others and possibly you. An example would be if Fred was on Skype and Bob told him where the other teams base was in real life, Fred now knows this but his role play character does not if Fred used this information to attack and bring down the other teams base in the game this would be meta gaming.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:

Power-gaming is the act of unfairly overpowering another character by either unrealistic means, or by forcing unfair actions on them, example may be killing them, despite them not wanting to endure such a dis interesting character advancement. An example would be *using my mystical powers I throw Bobby at the wall and he dies.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect this server to be a fun role playing server with a friendly community that plays fairly.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

Sadly I have played on none but I am expecting this one to be fun and worth my time.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Toleyeus was raised in a tree home in the city of Normandor by his mother and father. His parents owned a nearby alchemy shop just out side of the city. He lived as an average citizen of Normandor in a middle class family. He grew up in the shop learning about alchemy, his mother turned him into an expert in the craft and by the age of one and a half decades he could make everything from deadly poisons to potions of healing and strength. Every Few days his father would take him out to the back of the shop and taught him the art of swordsmanship showing him strikes and slashes on makeshift dummies. He continued learning alchemy and sword fighting until the age of 20 when he decided he was well off in these crafts, he went off to leave his home in Normandor and travel the lands of Asulon.

A few months after Toleyeus left home he received a letter from a friend back in Normandor telling of his parents death. The letter said his parents had gone on a potions delivery to the Island of Salvus, on the way back from the delivery his parents boat got caught in a storm. The boat had veered off coarse, smashed into a rock and sank, no known survivors had been found. When Toleyeus read this he decided his days of traveling were over and headed back home. After grieving his parents death he opened the old alchemy shop back up.

Toleyes was now a shop owner and very much enjoyed it, he was good at the craft and made a small fortune from doing it. He became a very social person and after selling many things to many people became skilled in his people skills being able to almost manipulate people and talk them all the way to the highest price they wold buy something at and lowest price to sell something at. But when about ten years of being a proud shop owner had gone by he grew weary of it and longed for something else. After months of pondering about it, Toleyeus made up his mind on what to do, he would sell his shop and set out to be an adventurer again, and that's just what he did.

Out of all of his travels, Alras was Toleyeus' favorite place he had visited. He enjoyed the mountainous region and the feel of the environment there. He got along well with the merchants and made many friends at the local tavern. He almost settled in Alras but after a while the thought that he was so close to the sea made him sick, it brought back memories of his parents so he left to avoid the terrible memories. He now often visits Alras and his friends there, but he stays no more than a few days at a time to avoid the painful memories.

Today toleyeus wanders around the lands of Asulon with his bag of potions, his sword at his waist and the whole world to be explored.

What is your Character's ambitions?:

Toleyeus' ambitions are to gain knowledge traveling and make friends along the way.

One day he wishes to settle down in a home of his own but that may not be until the far off future.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):

His sword.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

His sword fighting, alchemy, and people/social skills.

Other Information about your Character:

Toleyeus is a very friendly person who loves to be around other people, He has a horrible fear of boats, and does not enjoy being close to the ocean. He has faded Purple skin, ice blue eyes, and pale blue/white hair.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

This is what would happen:

- Toleyeus walks up to the guard and says -

"why are you beating up on this little halfling it is not that much money to be harrasing him over"

Guard 1 "this young chap stole this money from the alchemy shop from down the street"

- Toleyeus having grown up in an alchemy shop his own life says to the halfling -

"did you do this?"

Halfling "yes but I desperately needed it my family has starved the last week"

Toleyeus -being angry but understanding to the halfling takes the money from the halfling and walks down the street to the alchemy shop giving it to the old lady that owns it and returns to the hafling and guards-

"here is some bread for your family don't steal next time"

-takes 5 loaves of bread out of his pocket and hands them to the halfling-

Halfling -runs off thanking him-

Guard 1 and 2 "thank you very much here is a token of our appreciation"

-they hand toleyeus some apples-

Toleyeus -leaves to be on his way to the inn in the city-

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

Toleyeus seeing the merchant also had some blacksmith equipment would say "yes Thank you may I please use your whetstone my sword needs sharpening and I would be very much in gratitude if you did?"

Merchant seeing Toleyeus in cleaner and nicer attire than most of the citizens in the city would say "Yes but it will cost you about 20 minas to use it"

Toleyeus "Im sorry but that is not a fair price I could walk a few yards down the street to the black smith and use his for free"

Toleyeus would then walk down to the black smiths and use their whetstone making sure the merchant could see him.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Toleyeus not needing the material, seeing that it could be put to good use and aware that it might be somebodies would take it and head for the nearest city. Rather than waving the sword and iron around asking whose it was he would take it to the guards. He would tell them that if no one showed up to them in the next few days saying that they lost these items the guards could keep it.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

Traders "hello there what is your business here traveler?"

Toleyeus "None much but as you can see I have been lost and hungry the last few days would you happen to have any food to spare?"

Traders trying to be somewhat tricky not liking the idea of giving anything away free would say "Sorry we are weapons and general equipment traders and only have food for ourselves but we could sell you a map so you could find your way to the nearest town and find food there"

Toleyeus telling that they were lying buys the map says "thank you very much" walks a few steps away, he then fakes as if he had passed out forcing the traders to help him up and let him stay for the night giving him food and water.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

Toleyeus eager for adventure would accept the request to eliminate the bandits but under one condition, he would take half of the minus reward and get his pick on a few items of the bandits stash of goods. The guards knowing that the majority of the bandits stash was stolen goods but desperately wanting to protect their village from the bandits reluctantly accept. They then go out and eliminate the bandits, and Toleyeus is allowed to pick a few items from the stash.
