Wrath 1 Share Posted April 30, 2012 Minecraft Account Name: Wrathstar555 How old are you?: 15 Time-Zone/Country of Residence: EST, USA Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes, it’s my main language Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a studious person when I don’t play minecraft. I am pretty nerdy, and play lots of minecraft (on a semi-related note, I’m a big fan of lord of the rings). How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Weekly, I would spend roughly 7-12 hours on the server, depending on how busy I am. (on vacation, it’s a lot more) What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Role playing means being involved in a world within it’s own. Your own feelings in the real world or how you feel about the instance don’t matter, it’s all about how your character would react to the situation. What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I’ve played on RP minecraft servers before, although none with quite as many people. I’ve also played several RP games and have always been a fan. In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta gaming is when you use knowledge that you gained out of RP and use it in RP. For example, if you die (at least on the other servers I’ve played) you have no recollection of what happened ~ 30 minutes before you died In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Overgaming is changing an instance just because you think you should. The best example I can think of is how as a kid, you played guns, and you’d point at the other kid and say “bang”. The other kid would then power game, and say that the person missed him and continue on. What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect the server to be a serious but fun world where you build your character and have a good time. I’m really looking forward to helping What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on roughly 4 servers (honorcraft, Aretecraft, Eroscraft, Drugcraft) I left the first 3 because they went down, and then I left the last one because I was frustrated with hardcore PVP Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: I did, and I do agree, of course Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: I agree to follow the rules. How did you hear about us?: I was searching for a good RP server, and you guys seem very interesting. Have you previously made an Application? If so could you link us to your last Application?: I have, here is the link : http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/52727-wrathstar555s-application/ In-Character: Character Name: Morkas Nurkrak What Race are you?: Dwarf What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): no sub-race Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Morkas grew up in the great city of Kal'Urguan. As a young boy, Morkas was no more standout than any average Dwarf. He grew at the right speed, he learned at the right speed, and could fight just as well as all the other dwarves. Morkas spent a long time in Kal'Urguan before his parents left for the war. After the war, Morkas lost touch with his parents. Morkas was ok with the fact that his parents were gone, as he was finally able to grow on his own person instead of living with his parents. He eventually left his home in Kal'Urguan and went on to live as a hermit for 10 years. During his years of hermitage, Morkas killed, trained, and learned much about his native land, and grew to have a certain respect for most everything around him. Morkas’s life would not stay in his peaceful hermitage forever though, and things were most definately changing, as the end of his land was coming. Morkas ended up seeing the smoke from Kal'Urguan and decided that it was not the time to be sticking around on his hermitage, as he felt that something world changing was about to happen. He joined up with several peasants outside the city. They traveled the lands for a long time in search of anything to keep them alive, when they happened to chance upon Blundermore, the man who would lead the journey to their new land, the land of Asulon. Morkas struggled with the year long journey among elves, humans, and orcs alike, but now Morkas finds himself in the land of Austin. Even at a young age, Morkas had a hand for leadership. Morkas would lead his young friends along on their journeys. Morkas would like to take a swing at that now as an adult and lead his fellow dwarves into battle. He understands that he will not start on the top of the military chain, but will most likely be beneath many of his brothers. He will do what it takes though to climb his way through the ranks, no matter how long it takes. Morkas does have one serious flaw though, He does not understand cultures beyond the culture of the Dwarves. Between his hermitage and his life spent only in Kal'Urguan, Morkas is a secluded man when it comes to the other races. He has heard stories of these races, and feels that they are something that would drive him to go to war as well, as he cannot understand their culture nor can he begin to understand why they should live on the land of his own people. What is your Character's ambitions?: Morkas loves leadership, and feels that he would do very well leading his fellow men on the battlefield. While he has not lead anyone, he hopes to gain the trust of his fellow dwarves and lead them into battle What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): My characters favorite tool is the pick, but his preferred weapon is a sword, as he finds bows to be not useful and for weaklings. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Morkas is a skilled leader, and can naturally the charge of people no matter the situation. A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format): http://www.minecraft...5/dwarf-leader/ - skin I would use if I got on the server Other Information about your Character: Most of what my character that can be told has been told, he will have to draw out the rest of his story during his time on the server. Open-Response-Questions Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? You there! Leave that poor man alone! Certainly you’ve been in his position before, and you know how it feels to be picked on. Now leave this poor man alone and let him keep his meager amount of coin. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? I’m looking to buy a bottle of ale, do you have anything of the sorts? Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Morkas would take some items from the chest, but not all, as he feels that if he were to take all the goods that would be greedy, and he does not approve of greed, unlike many of his jewel happy dwarven friends. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Morkas would attempt to befriend the natives and have them invite me into their village, then he would steal from them and take their goods, as they are foreigners and nothing should belong to the foreigners, only to the Dwarves. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Morkas would respond by offering the town guards assistance, and would happily take the money from the leader, as he feels that his work should be rewarded and given respect.
