How old are you?: I am 16 years of age.

Time-Zone/Country of Residence:Central Time, USA

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: I do, as I am a writer and avid reader. Good grammar is very important to me, and I appreciate proper use of it.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a female who has often dreamed of other worlds. I love to play minecraft and roleplay, as well as help others in their roleplaying journeys. I enjoy making characters and knowing them through-and-through so that I never react in a way that they wouldn't.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I would estimate about 12 hours weekly, but of course there will be times I play more or less, as well as vacations.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying is becoming another person through writing or acting. It is when one is a new person in a new world, and thus forced to act in new or different ways than that one would act in real life. Reading or writing can be considered roleplaying, and many games have been given the title RPG.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:As I mentioned before, I am a writer and have begun several roleplays with friends before. I have not played as many roleplaying games as I would like to say I have, but I have played a few. My all-time favorite RPG is Fate.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: I did not know what meta-gaming was before reading your description, as well as wikipedia's. As I understand it, meta-gaming is allowing your character to use information that you have, but your character should not or would not naturally have.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: I also did not know what power-gaming was, but it seems to be the act of controlling another's character. It is unfairly trying to come out on top in every struggle, without giving others a chance to resist. I would call this, playing god.

What do you expect this server will be like?:This server appears to be a writer's combined with gamer's dream come true. I expect the server to be very organized, the rules well established and carried out, and the characters somewhat developed.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:Aside from small friends' servers, I have only been on one other server, and I have not left it, but I play less than I used to. There is not too much to do on the average server because one can only build one's house so long without becoming bored. With roleplay, I expect to have a lot more activity and interest. The other server is also a tekkit server, and I have been searching for a vanilla server. As a builder and gardener, I find vanilla's more challenging materials to my preference.

How did you hear about us? Did someone refer you?:The server was recommended by zredwind, whom I know in real life, and google and minecraft forums recommend you also.

Character Name: Faber Wolfsbane, daughter of Orar Dragonslayer and Fari the Treesinger

What Race are you?:I am of the Elvish decent.

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): I am proud to say that wood elf is my heritage.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

I was always curious about what lied beyond the forest. My mother, the Treesinger, discouraged my curiosity and told me of the horrors beyond the safety of the trees. But they were not horrors to me. Her tales of skeletons, blazes, and enderman weaseled their way into my dreams, but they were no nightmares. They were dreams of becoming a hero, of rescuing villages, and above all, protecting the innocent. My father encouraged my dreams. He was of a warrior family, the brave and bold. It is rare to find an elf that seeks glory in battle as he did. He passed the trait on to me, and I decided that one day I too would slay a dragon, just as my father before me. One day I would strike down my foe and be declared a dragonslayer too.

It was not soon after that my father was called to defend the town from bandits. He valiantly went to defend us, but he returned stone cold and forever asleep. My father, a great hero and slayer of dragons, was killed by a lowly thief, a breaker of laws and betrayer of their own kind. My anger against thieves knows no bounds. I tolerate no thievery of any kind, no matter what. One day I will rid the world of thieves forever and the innocent can live in peace. (No doubt by now you have discovered my flaw is over-zealousness, but perhaps one day I will be cured.)

My skin is coffee brown and smooth. My hair is colored white, after the blossoms that bloom at the grave of my father, may he forever rest in serenity. My eyes are blue, like the sky I was once unable to see through the foliage of my home. My father once said they foretold I would one day leave the forest as he did. I am short for my kind, 5'7”, and thin. But I am strong. My father trained me before he left. It was not as long as I needed, to be sure, but I will grow in skills. I am also young. I am only thirty-two human years, making me still a child in my own land. But I will not be taken lightly. As the human saying goes, “I have a sword and I am not afraid to use it.”

What is your Character's ambitions?: I dream of becoming a hero who is accepted by all. I dream of protecting the innocent as my father did. I dream of ridding the world of thieves, and slaying a dragon for the good of all.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): My father taught me to use a sword, but I never had one of my own. My mother has kept his sword from me, but I will find one on my own. It is widely known that the bow is the weapon of the elves, but my father told me that, although the bow is well and good, the sword is the weapon of the courageous.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? I am trained with the sword, but as I have mentioned, not as long as any elf would deem acceptable. I also grow things as my mother did. Although I complained to her at every opportunity of the monotony of growing and treesinging, in my heart I love it and thank her for teaching it to me.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?I quickly position myself between the halfling and the warriors, demanding what they are doing. If they are not truly stealing from him, I am in for an embarrassing situation, but I could not help but be blunt. As I mentioned before, thieves are my greatest hatred. If they respond in the area of, “Nutin'.”, I say, “It did not appear to be 'nutin' to me.” They challenge me, seeing my youth and apparent inexperience. I accept with anticipation. It would have been wiser for me to find help, but I am a rare, hot-headed elf. If they are not thieving, I apologize to both the halfling and the warriors, then take my leave.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? I ask the man what he is selling, my curiosity always coming before my good sense. “True love,” he says. I am immediately infinitely more curious, but the merchant gives me a toothy grin and I realize what he meant. Blushing, I stammer out a, “No, thanks,” and back away. I retreat into the streets and try to forget the incident.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: I call, “Is anyone here?” There is no answer and I am tempted to take the items. The sword particularly calls to me, but I remember my hatred for thieves and I will never become one. I leave the items where they are, close the hut's door, and continue on my journey.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? I greet them as well, then, amidst the grumblings of my tortured stomach, I ask if it would be possible to trade for food and ale. They smile knowingly and mercifully arrange a trade quickly. I pay them and take my food to a table with others to laugh and converse while I eat.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: I do not hesitate to volunteer. I refuse their reward because a real hero needs no compensation, or if he does it is the glory of battle only. I follow my leader's every word and fight to the best of my abilities. With my hatred of bandits, it is hard for me to keep from trying to slaughter ever one of them, but I would never disobey my leader.

-Could you add examples to Metagaming and powergaming to explain better.

-Now your bio. Dragons are only few two or three I think so do not think your father would be a dragon slayer maybe a monster slayer or something also where was your character born Aegis or Asulon?

-Your skin looks like a dark elf or could be the image too dark.
