Minecraft Account Name: Spitfyre7Kira

How old are you?: 17

Time-Zone/Country of Residence: GMT: -8:00 (Pacific Standard Time)

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes, I believe so.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: Well I love to have fun, party, socialize, mosh, etc... I'm a DJ currently living in Reno, NV, and I take online schooling. I'm originally from the amazing city of Portland, OR ((Portlandia FTW)) and I'm in lesbians with Moombahcore, Dubstep, and Progressive House.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: 2-12 hours daily.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying, well it's the fuel of imagination for those who are un biased and loving. It usually means a fun game, a nice community, and a story that surpasses even the Odyssey itself.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: 3 Years of text roleplays, 2 years of Garrysmod roleplays (Serious PERP, DarkRP, Fallout, Starwars, and WWIII), CivRP minecraft server for 8 months, MCDieval minecraft server for 2-3 months.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-gaming is using OOC information in character. For example, just because there is a map of the world on this website does not mean your character knows where everything is.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Making your character un beatable or not allowing an enemy to respond. Ex: *Jack stabs Bill and cuts off his head* or if you were to never die when you die, Ex: *Jack stabs Bills foot, Bill runs away as fast as he can*

What do you expect this server will be like?: Hopefully a good full community to roleplay with, people who stay in character and have fun.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I haven't left in servers but none of the ones I play are up I don't think. CivRP, MCDieval, I owned a 64 slot server for an adventure map a while ago. Other than that a bunch of servers I don't remember, oh and a hunger games server I still play on sometimes.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes.

Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: Yes.

How did you hear about us? Did someone refer you?: Bipolar_Juice and Havenok. Also used to play with Roxthesox, and Komodo quite often.

Have you previously made an Application? If so could you link us to your last Application?: http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/56112-spitfyre7kira/

In-Character:

Character Name: Eorlund Tunnelsmasher

What Race are you?: Dwarf

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Appearance: Eorlund is a simple man in some ways, he enjoys a good beard, and simple outfit. He's usually seen wearing cheap brown clothing, nothing notable. He enjoys leather boots, they get the job done and are sturdy. The only really unique thing about Eorlund's appearance is that every few years he enjoys changing hairstyles, sometimes it's short, sometimes long, maybe it's braided, or even in dread locks. This applies everywhere from his beard to the top of his head, he ties it up with cheap leather, and prefers to keep it well groomed. Though there are some years he goes for a scruffy 'never does his hair' kind of look.

Personality: He loves people, and talking to people, and helping people. If he get's invited to a party with free ale, he doesn't care if it's across the realm he'll go and get his drink on. He enjoys folk songs and dancing on tables, and the occasional bar fight. He's not racist, and holds a great amount of respect for orcs as worthy warriors. Though if his king tells him to kill every human in sight, damn right he will. He's always thankful for the things he kills, and wishes them the best after life, especially that which he puts in his belly.

The first 80 years: During these young years of Eorlunds life he lived in Kal'Urguan, born and raised. During these 80 years he never went beyond the outer city, far to busy working to keep his family afloat. Eorlunds fascination with axes began in his late 20's, still a 'young' dwarf he was given an axe by his father. To him it symbolized being a true dwarf, everything dwarf was represented in the axe. A sturdy wooden handle, the upper echelon of dwarf society, without it the blade would be useless. The crude iron it was made of, the resolve and strength of dwarf men and women alike. And the fine craftsmanship, the love for mead and fun, the friendly aspect of the dwarfen people. Eorlund loved his axe, and often practiced with it, or even juggled a few of them to show off to friends. Though he was never quite accepted as anything beyond a laborer, he was defiantly part of the militia.

Beyond the destruction of Aegis Eorlund didn't remember all that much about life in Kal'Urguan, though there were a few things. The 1329 Grand tournament where Kjell Ireheart became Grand Champion, that was a sight to see indeed. Kjell was who Eorlund thought was going to win from the first round, and Eorlund was happy to win a few bets among friends. The main thing besides that was the known persistence of the undead to keep the dwarfen people down, and of course the great war. And of course 1345, who could forget that. Kal'Urguan fell to the undead, Eorlund being one of those able to evacuate with his family. Then of course the sailing of to Asulon, Eorlund's father was despaired to be leaving the realm behind.

The Last 100 Years: The last 100 years of Eorlunds life were perhaps simpler, and less involved than the first 80. Eorlund is still fairly 'young' but he enjoys life in the new land. Karik was a nice place to live, he enjoyed it rather well. He spent his free time in pubs, and practicing with his axe, and spent his work time hauling coal and stone out of the ground. He spent plenty of time with his cousin, Bael Tunnelsmasher, who's own parents had died. After living in Karik for 90 odd years, Eorlunds father contracted Grish by eating an animal that had the disease. It wasn't too long before Eorlunds father died, Eorlund was sad, but he realized old men die sometimes, and it was no use fretting over.

Eorlund continued his work as normal, staying out of silly politics, and staying in the pubs. Though it was coming time for Eorland to search for a good woman, he wasn't sure who. Eorland fell for a bar maid in Karik, Heldi, a sweet lass, with even sweeter mead. Sadly, and not only for him but for all dwarfs, Karik was destroyed by dragons but 5 years after his fathers death. Eorlund remembered it well, the running, the screaming. Everyone was frantic, Eorlund got out safe enough, and Bael managed to survive. But his sweet barmaid was trampled to death trying to get out, she just wasn't sturdy enough. Eorlund followed the other dwarfs to another mountain the would carve into, but after being to small for expansion they left once more for Mount Ire.

What is your Character's ambitions?: "Aye, me dreams ya say? I be wantin' a cozy l'il roof over me head, a good sturdy woman in me bed, An' a belly full 'O mead!"

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): "I like me axes, they 'ave a nice womanly curve about 'em, an' they'll cut ya up like a woman too!"

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? "Choppin' Stuff (People mostly, but I ain' gettin' ta do taht' a lot, I'm a nice guy, ya'know?), and minin' the simpler stuff, e'ry good dwarf oughtta be able ta dig some ground."

A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format, if you do not know how to acquire one, click here: http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/51343-how-to-obtain-your-skin-screenshot/): http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg121/animecrazy185/2012-05-30_143623.png

Other Information about your Character: "I like me'self a good pint now an' then, so'what!? Ye want to arrest me for 'drunk and disorderley conduct'!? It was jus' a jig on the table and a nice folk song, wha's wrong with taht?"

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Eurlond approaches the sight of a halfling being robbed on the street, it may not be his business but he just despises thieves and enjoys helping those in need, as long as it doesn't interfere with his own desires too much. He strides over to the men confidently with his chin held high.

Eorlund: "Ay! Feck off the poor boggar, thas me dinner ya be messin' with!"

Thief 1: "Ay!? An' jus' who the **** are you!?"

At this point Eorlund takes out his axe, ready to strike if they attacked, and hoping to intimidate.

Eorlund: "Eorlund Tunnelsmasher! An' I be bettin if ye don' leave me dinnah alone I be ea'in' ya instead!"

Thief 2: "Ye **** off!, We 'ave ye outnumbered anyway."

Knowing he has no chance, Eorland submits, but threatens to bring back family to try and scare off the men.

Eorlund: "Hmmf! By ta whiskers under me chin, ye better be gone when I get back with the rest of me clan, then we'll see who's actin' teh maggot on who's dinnah!"

*Exit Eorlund, who is likely off to find a guard or friend to help the halfling.*

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

Eurlond, hearing the man, looks over, and walks to the stall. He is indeed a bit hungry, and could use a drink as well. It is after all not the easiest trip getting to Alras, and for fucks sake he had to be above ground for a long period of time.

Eorlund: "Ah!, Good day there laddy! 'Ave ye got any steak? Sod it, I could really go for a pint r'ight 'bout know!"

Merchant: "Aye, we've got ale and steak friend, it'll be ___ Minas for teh lot."

Eorlund, being a commoner, hasn't always got the minas for luxuries such as ale, so he settles for the food.

Eorlund: "Wow, taht much eh? Well I 'aven't got much teh spare, gimme teh steak I'll be needin it for teh trip 'ome."

Merchant: "Aye, 'ave a good day, ye hear?"

At this point Eorlund says fairwell to the kind shop keep, just happy he is going to have dinner for the night.

Eurlund: "For sure laddy, ye have a fine day ye'self, an' get cheaper mead why don'tcha?"

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Eurlund is on his way from from a small hunting trip out into the wilds, upon stumbling on a pack of wild wolves. He quickly ducks out of sight, hoping he wasn't seen, but to his extreme dismay he hears the growls of hungry beasts nearing. He moved quick enough to evade their eyes, but the combined stench of his sweat and the cow he had just hunted attracted the ravenous creatures to his location. He takes off running, knowing his axe is to dull from the cow slaying to be of any use against a pack of wolves. He ducks into a small hut, abandoned it seems, the only thing in sight is a small chest, with iron and a golden sword. His salvation, Eorlund dawns the sword upon his dirty hands and charges out, cutting at the wolves that were patiently waiting for him. After they have all been slain Eorlund returns to the hut, feeling guilty about the theft. He polishes the sword up nice and returns it to it's place, and places a few pieces of meat in it as a 'thanks for saving my life' gesture.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

Eorlund stumbles towards the sight of a camp, be it or friendly or not living much longer like this was no way for a dwarf to live. Too many days above ground had taken it's tole on Eorlund's morale. A man approaches him, clearly a human, well kept mustache and decent clothes.

Camp Leader: "'Ello there! Welcome to my humble trading camp, by the looks of ya I'd guess ya aren't here by choice."

Eorlund: "Out 'ere, with no mead, food, or for fucks sake women, by choice!? No way in 'ell laddy, I wouldn' be supposin' ya know where I can find a good dwarfen town to rest in would ye?"

Camp Leader: "'Fraid not, I 'aven't seen a dwarf in a while."

Eorlund laughed a bit at his statement, wheezing from his dry throat.

Eorlund: "Taht's because mos' of us are smar' 'nough to no' come above groun' for too long. 'Gimme some water an' meat laddy, I'll pay wha'ever ya like."

Eorlond said this of course knowing he didn't have much money, but if he was lucky it wouldn't cost much. If not he had figured he could stay above ground a bit longer and work off his debts like an honorable stout man would do.

Camp Leader: "Aye, I'll get ya some wa'er an' food."

The man went back for a moment, bringing Eorlund 3 slabs of hefty steak and a pint of mead.

Camp Leader: "Ye can 'ave it, ye look like crap, ought teh go get ye'self home. I'll jus' remember ye owe me a favor nex' time ye come 'round."

Eorlund: "Ahah! Thank ya kind sir, Be ea'in then ge' on me jolly way. Go''a fin' me home. All teh sun is hur'in me skin."

Eurlond sat, partaking in meal and conversation. And after a few hours rest

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

A man approaches Eorlund, in fact not just a man, but captain of the town guard, and drinking buddy. Of course it could be for a number of reasons, but Eorlund was ready for anything his friend may ask, whether it be a trip to the pub, or a call to arms. Eorlund walked up to meet the man, and greeted him with a shake of hands.

Eorlund: "'Ello there buddy, ya be wantin' to 'it ta pub a bi' early eh?"

Guard Captain: "Aha' I wish Eorlun', bu' no, seems we've go' ourselves a bi' of a bandit problem jus' ou'side town, teh'r's a reward if ye lend us ye axe."

Eorlund takes out his axe, eyeing it carefully.

Eorlund: "Yah, sounds like bloo'y fun friend, By teh whiskers under me chin we shall 'ave teh'r heads by dawn."

Guard Captain: "Alrigh' tehn, le's get a move on."

Eorlund follows his friend to the rest of the party, and gets ready for the upcoming skirmish while more members are gathered. They begin to march, like a mob with torches and pitchforks towards the bandits. Upon arriving the dwarfs charge into battle, and seeing the bandits flee Eorlund and a few others give a ferocious chase. The party manages to catch and kill a few of them, and Eorland takes a head and returns home with his head held high. With the prize in hand, Eorlund mounts it on his wall, a story to tell friends when they come round.
