Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a 16 year old gamer from canada. I play hockey, and am an active member in the improv community

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:once a day, give or take.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:playing in the roll of someone other than yourself, choosing each action of said character as if you are them. completely diving into their character and forgetting about your own.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: i play many rpg games such as skyrim and i very much enjoy diving into the character and acting as if were them. i am also in improv so that will provide a fair boost to my roleplaying abilities.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:It is stepping out of the boundaries within that are set within the game, and applying outside information to your character's speech or actions. and example would be calling someone "peter" when there is no indication in-game that this is his name

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-gaming in roleplaying is different from power-gaming in rpgs. in roleplaying acting upon a player that gives him no chance to defend himself is power-gaming. Example: *Joey Swings sword and kills carey*

What do you expect this server will be like?: Very immersed in their roles. it sounds very exciting, I love roleplaying in all of its forms.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I am a member of Almost-There and do not plan on leaving. I am an admin on their minecraft server and a frequenter on their gmod servers. I have a lot of time to allocate to minecraft so averaging two servers isn't a problem, for me.

Character Name: Aron Wizenhoff

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): None

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Aron had an easy upbringing. many of the children around him fell victim to bandit attacks and became orphans but he had to happy, loving parents, marry and willy. His father, willy, was a renowned poet and would always tell Aron of great adventures in the cities he would go to. Arethor, Solace, Normandor, "they are all such vast cities filled with the strong warriors and people of Asulon. Where most kids would see adventure of a vast, greater world Willy saw oddity, and would always ask questions such as "doesn't it get crowded" and "if there were to be a fire, what would the people do then? hmmm?". Aron was a paranoid little boy, this can mostly be traced to his mother, loving and caring as she was, she would not let Aron anywhere near fire or anything that can burn. This as you can imagine, was a rough part of Aron\s upbringing, but he loved his mother all the same. Towards Aron's mid teens he became interested in construction and architecture. This was a happy time in Aron's life, but every sunny sky has a dark cloud, and for the Wizenhoff's, this was the mental state of Willy.

Months had gone by and Willy had started acting from strange, to done right crazy. towards the end days Marry would try and talk with him on many occasions, but Willy was to far gone. A husband was lost. A father was lost. One year went by, catering for Willy in his mental state, he couldn't remember Marry, or Aron. Marry let Aron go out far less often during that time and treated him worse than a baby. The financial problems of the family were grave and the prime location of their home, in the farmlands south-west of the cloud temple were unable to yield any crops. The day came where Aron had to go make a life for himself, the support of his mother would not last him another year, so at the age of 19, Aron began preparations to leave within a fortnight. The day Aron was leaving his father sickness became to much, Willy, was about to die.

Marry rushed quickly to the nearest herbalist to get medicine for here quickly fading husband. Once she left Aron sat down and explained what he is going to do. "Father, i hope some part of you can hear and take pride in your only son. i Plan to head for the wilderness, just east of the cloud temple , I have learned the ways of woodcutting, and I am sure i can find someone to teach me how to blacksmith and mine. But leaving my mother at a time like this would not be fair of me. My own life will have to be put on standby to take care of mo-" Willy grabbed his only son by the shirt and said, with his final breath "If you stay here, you will grow crazy, like me, and paranoid like your mother. Find a friend to travel with, for protection. you are no swordsman but i can tell you that you are an exceptional kid, and can become an amazing architect if you set out to do so. I love you, son"

Aron leaped out the door, and ran, with tears filling his eyes, towards the cloud temple, to find a companion, to travel with.

What is your Character's ambitions?: To build a magnificent house and learn how to blacksmith

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): A axe, it is the only tool he can use without cutting off any of his body parts

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Kindness and creativity

Other Information about your Character: He is very clumsy, he just doesn't know because he has never had to do any hard labor.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Woah! what can i do? i am unarmed and have no fighting skill what so ever. I need to find help, someone else can stop them. He then sprints to Aegis keep to find help from any near by warriors. after convincing a warrior and returning they find the halfling on the ground, beaten and helpless. Aron helped him up and walked him to his home. The halflings name was jesse, and his mom asked Aron if he wanted to stay the night. Aron accepted this offer and got a good nights rest.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? "Yes, hello. I don't suppose you have any books on the art of blacksmithing, do you?" "let me just see what I got here, nope, hmmmm, *under breath* art of woodcutting, nope. umm, crafting, for the crafty crafter, nope. erm, OH! here we are, tyrone smith's guide to blacksmithing, that will be 50 minas" "WOAH! i don't have anywhere near that amount of money. I will be back soon with the minas to buy that book." "okay"

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? "Oh praise the lord, I am starving and this is the first camp i have seen in days. Do you have any food?" says Aron, overwhelmed with joy. "we have some bread on the table, next to the fire" said the man "THE FIRE!!!!! PUT IT OUT, YOU WILL BURN DOWN THE ENTIRE CAMP!" "Woah! calm down buddy, it's under control" "unless it's in a lantern i hardly believe it's under control" the paranoia from Arons childhood was returning, and his fear of fire was the top on the list of fears. While at a safe distance from the fire the man, Kano, and Aron exchanged stories and Kano was able to calm Aron enough to sleep in the same area as a fire.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: "I can offer you my support, but not as a warrior. i am unfit for battle and would serve as good out there as a cooked porkchop. is there any other way i can assist?" "no, me and my men can go down and do it ourselves". Aron had a rough time sleeping that night, then recalled to his childhood that for some reason bandits never attacked him, they only attacked parents of kids who will grow up to be exceptional warriors, with vendetta's. (hope someone else got that reference)
