In your own Words, define what the act of Powergaming is:

Powergaming is essentially the in-character embodiment of Hotchkiss' second, third, and fifth sins of narcissism; Magical Thinking, Arrogance, and Entitlement, respectively.

What Race are you?:

Elf

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

History: Domhall was born into a very dull family, many of his relatives scholars. He only got along well with his uncle Ricard, who regularly took Domhall to watch his fencing matches. When he was 12, Domhall's uncle gave him his favorite rapier, and a small tinker toy. These gifts simultaneously sparked Domhall's interest in trinkets and fencing: He began regularly training with his uncle Ricard, and spending lots of free time hunting for small knick-knacks and trinkets. Throughout his early teens, Domhall travelled from town to town with his uncle, searching through countless gift shops and general stores for clockwork toys and other trinkets. He eventually developed an Eagle's Eye for small detail, due to his countless hours spent looking for small objects in stores. his keen sight helped in his fencing as well, Domhall was soon able to beat his uncle in many of their fencing matches.

Eventually, Domhall had become as skilled as his uncle, and Ricard suggested that he enter into a swordfighting competition. Domhall thought this was a perfect idea, and after a heartfelt goodbye with his uncle, hopped on a boat to the Cloud Temple. After a few days of asking about and searching, Domhall learned of a tournament that was soon to be held in a nearby city. As he approached the city gates, He took note of the pulley system that drew it up. At the entrance to the arena, Domhall signed his name onto the applicant's list, while receiving an annoyed look from the book-keeper: he had signed on late, after all. After a while, Domhall's name was called, and he was led out into the arena.

Bringing out his uncle's rapier, Domhall took a deep breath, and stepped out to face the crowd, and his opponent. As many in the crowd saw Domhall's choice of weapon, eyebrows throughout the crowd raised questionably, and many a chuckle were had. The opponent, a human with a longsword, perhaps thought he had an easy win against Domhall's frail looking sword. Much to everyone's surprise, as the bell rang to start, Domhall stood patiently while his opponent charged him. With a hand behind his back, as Uncle Ricard had taught him, Domhall sidestepped quickly, parrying the mans blade. Annoyed, the man turned about to face Domhall, and swung at him once more. The cycle of charge, parry, dodge, repeated itself many times until the man swung wildly for Domhall's leg. Barely managing to knock away the swipe, Domhall was quite angry that the man forced him to break form. Bringing his rapier around to the mans face, the sword, not designed to slash, left only a small cut and a large red welt across the mans cheek. While the man was momentarily stunned from this painful riposte, Domhall took an opportunity and stabbed at the mans chest; being sure not to stab too deep. As blood stained the man's tunic, he screamed in surprise, and fainted, surely thinking his wound was fatal. Somewhere a man called, "This match's winner, Domhall the... Fencer!".

With a laugh, Domhall bowed to the crowd, and made his way to the gate, happily accepting his match winnings and walking down to an inn to get some rest...

Appearance and Personality:

Domhall has somewhat short-cut hair, considered uncommon for elves, but thought by Domhall to be less interfering with his fencing. His eyes are a deep, dark green, and he almost always has a kind smile or an innocent type of look on his face. with a somewhat lanky build, Domhall's long legs give him a fast, long striding walk. Domhall is very humble, and is sometimes made uncomfortable even when he sees another person acting in a condescending nature.

What are your Character's ambitions?:

Domhall has a never ending fascination with trinkets, and wishes to

continue fencing in tournaments.

Open-Response-Questions

Answer at least three out of five listed!

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?:

Walking up to the warriors, Domhall clears his throat to get the warriors' attention.

Domhall: "Hail you two armored lads, what's this business then?"

The men drop the halfling, who trembles terrified at their feet.

Warriors: "Scurry outta here, you, before ya get hurt."

Domhall: "Mhmm... so why do you two big armored fellas beat on this poor halfling, eh? too nervous to go pick on someone your own size?"

While he speaks to the two men, Domhall quickly looks to the halfing, motioning with his eyes towards the trees in the distance. The halfling discreetly acknowledges the motion, preparing to escape.

Warriors: "Oh yeah, and who'd that be then.."

Domhall: "How about me."

Brings out his rapier, yelling "Go!" to the halfling. He makes a quick thrust at one of the men, trying to jab him in the eye...

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?:

Domhall approaches the stall, looking about through the goods the man has, checking specifically for souvenirs.

Domhall: "Aye, siwmae! D'you have any gearwork trinkets, or any little playthings about this stall?"

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Domhall steps through the musty hut, wiping a few cobwebs from the chest.

Domhall: "Hmm... likely nothing valuable in this place... probably sacked long ago."

Domhall shrugs, opening the chest anyways. Looking over the objects, Domhall takes little interest in them, though after a quick search around the hut's area, he returns and pockets one of the ingots, perhaps it will be useful for something later.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?:

Domhall: "Siwmae, lads... Y'got any spare bits to eat? I've been lost for a while, and i'm quite hungry. I'd gladly trade some Mina for a bite."

One of the traders, surprised that Domhall was not a passing bandit, and pleased with his politeness, trades Domhall for some bread.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

Domhall hears word of the guards' request, and walks to the gathering. A guard calls his request through a large, loud crowd.

A Guard: "...If any can help us be rid of these bandits, we offer good compensation! Can any help!?"

Domhall: "Excuse me!? Would an extra sword arm be appreciated?"

The Guard: "O' course! we'll be meeting at the gate shortly, head down there and meet with the regiment!"

Domhall nods his head in acknowledgement, and heads down to meet the others...
