Architects are now being employed!

To all citizens of the Holy Oren Empire who are able builders, your services are requested in the City of Arethor.

Anyone who is an able builder is highly encouraged to apply to become an architect, as we are in need of skilled builders to complete construction of the city and undertake any future projects in and around Arethor.

In order to become and architect, you must fill out an application form so that we know that you are as good a builder as you may believe.

The form is short and simple, but is expected to be filled out thoroughly.

[[ I will look over all applications during a weekend. Also, remember that until the palace and courthouse are completed, you will not actually be designing these buildings. Once they are done, however, you will be able to draft any ideas you have on the build server and we'll go from there. ]]

Should work you complete be a success then you will be paid according to the time and effort that the construction required.

[[ NOTE: Once accepted, you'll gain perms to Arethor whilst you build and will also have access to the Arethor Build Server, which is RP'd as the blueprints for any construction ]]

* Althos notices that the fire in his house has started to go dim. Helpfully, an Orc hands him what appears to be a piece of rubbish - but it'll burn well. He quickly throws in on the fire, watching as the flames crackle nicely. After placing a couple of logs on top of it, he sits down in front of his desk and quickly scans through the forms before sending letters to those who applied. *

Althaas, you seem to have had good experience in building and I would very much like for you to become a builder for the Empire. You are hired.

[[ However, you will need to dedicate most of your build time to the Salvus project as it is much larger. Spend what time you can on the Courthouse as that will be the first build, but I don't want to drag you away from Everard so spend your time well ]]

Isaac, your experience in house building may well come to be useful in the future. I'd like you to start work on the Courthouse as soon as you can, I have attached blueprints to this letter ((ie. my PM to you of the build server IP. Courthouse is behind the Church.))
