Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?:Yes i do indeed, i am in my final year of highschool at the moment.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a 16 year old average kind of guy who enjoys playing minecraft and roleplaying. I actively participate in sports and currently play rugby union and touch rugby. I absolutely love roleplay and have been looking for a good roleplay server for a longtime.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Easily 2 hours a day most days, up to 4 hours a day in the school holidays.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:I love roleplaying, for me it means being the hero you have always dreamed to be the ones in books, means to create and portray the kind of hero and person you would love to be, recreate events and actions that you want to portray yourself.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:I have played on two active fairly well known roleplay servers and i have held staff positions on these servers.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:Metagaming is basically using ooc info in rp, for example i heard that [insert extremely bad guys name here] was about to attack [insert little defenceless village here] i proceed to roleplay rush to their defence, realistically i shouldnt be doing that because my character didnt here it.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is:Powergaming is the bane of all active roleplayers, its an action that gives noone the opportunity to fight or retaliate. For example "/me grabs [insert player name here] by his/her hair, he then proceeds to cut off his head" this type of gaming doesnt allow realisticness and creativity.

What do you expect this server will be like?:A real minecraft type freeroam fantasy mmorpg, with set rules and wars. I expect it to be WONDERFUL otherwise i wouldnt go to all the trouble of writing this insanely long submission , im really looking forward to it.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:I have played on other great roleplay servers such as Age of Citycraft and Lands of Arrion, i have been a staff member on both servers and havent actually left them. I am simply expanding and trying new things.

How did you hear about us?:I typed in "Minecraft epic fulltime roleplay servers" on google, you guys came up on the yogscast website.

Character Name:Hailmar Aeltahl

What Race are you? (You may only be Human, Orc, Elf or Dwarf!) : Elf

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):I am a dark elf, proficient in swordsmanship.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Age: 112

Appearance: Slightly taller than the average elf with broad shoulders the result of a life of military training. Dirty blond hair with short dreads, a clean cut beard (unusual for an elf, clear blue eyes and well muscled limbs, an athletic stride and countenance.

Personality: Hailmar Aeltahl is a strong silent elf. He has a sense of humour but it only shows around good friends, his life of fighting and military training has effected his countencance in the sense that he is always wary when travelling in unknown regions and is usually what some would call pessimistic but others extreme caution. He unconciously analyses situations ranging from people to landscapes, he is slow to panic and quick to take action. A life of being surrounded by wise elders has taught him caution and wisdom he is slow to anger as a result.

History: Hailmar grew up in an Elven village called Darkgrove, situated in the north of Malinor. Surprisingly unlike most of the elven towns, Hailmars people lived closer to mountains than trees. Hailmars father was the captain of the local militia, a well respected elf, well known for his kindness among his people and his ferocity in battle amongst his enemies. As a result of his fathers occupation Hailmar recieved intense military training from an early age and was recognised as a competent swordsman more adept to a blade than bow. He was trained to dislike humans for their warring against his peoples.

Througout his life Hailmar strove with his father and brothers/friends to defend town of Darkgrove, from roving bands of brigands and raiding orcish tribes, constantly on the lookout for potential enemies. He lived a life of exclusion from Asulon, visiting Renatus, Malinor, and Haelun'or, and misc. towns, his father and the town elders were quick to see Hailmars desire for adventure noticing his increasing solemn moods unconciously wishing for adventure and a new way of life. Hailmar loves his family and friends dearly and wouldnt think twice about defending them but he wishes to see more of Asulon and as a result of this wish he was given leave by his father and the Darkgrove elders to see more of the world.

Excited Hailmar set out to travel the Asulonian plains, travelling as a free lance often taking up arms in defense of those who would wish and treat him well, he never forgets who he is and where he comes from and despises strong drink in all its forms. As of now he travels the lands staying in places as long as it suits him.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):Hailmar's favourite tool is the thin bladed longsword. The thin bladed longsword being a primary weapon amongst his people, this tool isn't as large in width and unwieldy as the broadsword and long sword but thinner and lighter with the same length perfect for the swordsmanship darkelves are known for. The thinbladed longsword although thinner in width to the boradsword is still able to withstand the same force that other battleblades can handle. This sword is graceful enough to be used in formal events yet strong enough to be wielded in battle, with a hand and a half long hilt swordsmen with this blade can use a two or one handed grip depending on events in battle.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?Hailmar is a proficient swordsman, having trained under his father in the town guard and practising with brothers from an early age Hailmar has developed a strong and steady arm able to wield his blade proficiently with both hands. The natural slightly increased physical abilities of the darkelves have also helped in his increase in skill in swordsmanship.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

"Hailmar observes the the two warriors harrassing the smaller man, calmly he draws his blade and commands the men to release the halfling, seeing that the men decide to ignore his command Hailmar leaps into action. With a loud war cry Hailmar swings his blade in a vicious arc the flat of it connecting with the first warriors head, felling him instantly. The second warrior seeing a threat takes up a poor fighting stance and trades blows with Hailmar, after a short duel Hailmar disarms the second man and temporarily finishes him the same way as the first. Turning to the halfling he offers his help"

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

Hailmar responds calmly saying "I thank you kindly for your services my friend, but today i am in no need for the comforts of life and have little coin in my purse. Perhaps another day"

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Hailmar seeing the chest and its contents, contemplates the action he should take, seeing the poor quality of the blade, it being nothing but a tool of appearance he discards it. Noticing that the iron bars would be heavy to carry and hamper his travelling he discards them as well and goes on his way.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

Hailmar notices the group of men and women and their attempt at greeting sighing with contentment but not letting his guard down Hailmar says "Good evening friends, i am weary and footsore would you oblige a tired traveller in a meal? I could repay you with my services of friendship."

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

Hailmar raises his hand and offers his services, but denies the offering of a reward, only wanting travelling rations in its place.

Anything else you would like to say?: I love the concept of roleplay and its functions i think the server and myself would both benefit from acquaintance.
