Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am just a small town boy who loves LotC. I am often on my laptop and I am often playing Minecraft.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I can be on everyday of the week for extended periods of time.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying allows you to be anyone you want to be. I could be a Orc or a Elf. I don't have the chance to be either of those in real life. It is exciting to me.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I have had a pass account on the server but it was hacked. I often play WoW and Skyrim. I have the speech down pretty well.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is when one player tells another in a message to meet them in a certain spot without proper Roleplay.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is: Power-Emoting is when a player does something outrageous. For example, a person fires a arrow from two blocks away and they emote that it missed them.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I have prior knowledge of this server. It is a amazing server with a huge and very active community.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on many small servers and I left them because there were no set in stone rules. People could do as they like. I love how people often respect the rules of LotC.

Character Name: Vaerath Longwind

What Race are you? (You may only be Human, Orc, Elf or Dwarf!) : Elf.

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Vaerath is half High Elf and half Wood Elf.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Vaerath was always a young soul, he loved to play in the forest near his home in Riverwood. His father was always at war or in Normandor. His mother was a small High Elf. He always wonder why she acted different from the Wood Elves of his town. As he grew older he started to wield a sword. He was very good with the sword. He was a very powerful swordsman wielding iron swords as a infant. He loved to fight beside his father. Which was rare because they were often apart. His father Elros Longwind was a Guard of Normandor. This was the cause of his death. He was killed by camel bandits. He was defending a royal girl. He took an arrow in his left eye. He was then slashed in the head with an axe. When Vaerath heard of the death of his father he left his mother in Riverwood and traveled to Normandor.

Vaerath finished growing up in Normandor. Fighting along side his cousin Darion who was High Commander of the guard. Darion did not treat him well he was 23 years old and was filled with hate. He hated his cousin, his fellow guardsmen, Orcs and Humans. He left the guard but stayed in Normandor. He took a young Guard to train. He became a teacher of the arts of battle at only the age of 26, By this time he was skilled enough with the blade he could kill almost anyone. He now lives in Normandor, waiting for his time. His time to strike at his enemies. His student was with him. Many were against the pair but they did not care.

What are your Character's ambitions?: Vaerath wants to gain a powerful position and be respected by all.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Sword

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Sword ((On my account that got hacked I had 100 swordsmanship level. Is there anyway I can get that back?))

Open-Response-Questions

Each and every question must be answered with a minimum of a single full paragraph and entirely in RP.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Vaerath who has been picked on his whole life puts on his armor and draws his sword. He then approaches the group weapon in a relaxed position. Vaerath taps on the shoulder of one of the warriors.

"What are you doing with the halfing?" Vaerath asks.

"Mind your own business Elf." Shouts one of the men.

"You see I can not let you rob him" Vaerath says grabbing the shoulder of one of the men and ripping the man towards himself. Vaerath holds his sword to the throat of the warrior.

"You touch that halfing it will be the last thing you ever do?" Vaerath says Griting his teeth, spit coming from his mouth. The other warrior draws his blade, he raises his free hand in a attempt to calm Vaerath down.

"Let him go or you will die" the warriors says trembling.

"What are you scared of bandit? Have you never been threatened?" Vaerath says laughing. Vaerath adds a little pressure to the blade at the mans neck drawing his knife in his other hand.

"This is your last chance." Vaerath said.

"Try me" The bandit snarles. Vaerath then shoves the captive bandit into the other man. THen he chargers towards the two Sword in his right hand knife in his left hand. Vaerath slashes down a attack from one of them men and stabs hi knife into the eye socket of his armor. the blade punctured his eye and left the bandit screaming from pain blood running down his hands, dropping his blade in the process. Vaerath picks up the dropped blade in his left hand and charges the second bandit. The bandit flees in fear leaving his friend.

"Halfing run!" Vaerath shouts. Vaerath takes his knife from the dieing man cleans it and returns it to its sheath.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? "Yes you can, Do you know of a place I can find a job?" Vaerath asks.

"Nay sir. I would try another town." The merchant replies. Vaerath leaves without anothr word dropping a small pouch full of Minas on the counter

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: My character would stay awaiting a return of the huts owner. If no one came within four days he would take the items.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

"Hello. Cna you point me in the right direction of Normandor? And maybe a place to buy food?" Vaerath asks

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Vaerath is short on cash and needs the money. He hates leadership type roles though. He Joins but causes a little havoc in the process.

Anything else you would like to say?: I was adviced to create this application by Danny. I had a account that was hacked and I was unable to recover it. I bought this account and after discussing things with Shiftnative. I hope to get my skill points back and to get back on this amazing server.

• Your metagaming definition isn't really correct either. Don't be afraid to search the internet to find the definition, but make sure your response is written in your own words! • Powergaming in your Open Response Questions. How exactly did you take this bandit hostage, considering they were aware of you?
  
• Villainous activity in the Open Response Questions. You cannot murder outside of reasonably provoked "heat of the moment" situations. Make sure you read over the villain rules (here) so that you are aware of what you can and cannot do without applying for a villain application.
  
• Your Open Response Questions need to be expanded. All of them are required to be at least one paragraph and written in full role-play. Some ways to expand on them would be to explain in more detail what your character does, and also explain why they do it, and "what's going through their head" at the moment. You should also include both detailed actions and dialogue in your answers. You should not include "if"s in your response. You are narrating a scenario, not listing the possible courses of events.
