In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-gaming is described as utiizing OOC information for IC benefit. For example, if a character is looking for a certain player in the game and can't find him but speaks with someone on teamspeak who has seen the character and tells the location OOC, that would be utilizing information IC to benefite the character that was obtained OOC.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is: Power-Emoting is simply put as applying actions IC to another character without giving them the opportunity to provide action. One must first decribe the action to come against against another charcter and then allow them the opportunity to reply/respond to the oncoming action.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I believe that the server will be a lot of fun, a gaming world and community filled with great adventure.

Character Name: Eikon (Icon) Deepaxe

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Mountain Dwarf

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Eikon Deepaxe was born illegitimately to a poor young servant named Mira Deepaxe. Eikon was the only child of Mira and as a young boy often busied himself with his peers while his mother spent the day working near the mine in a pub. During this time, Eikon often found himself in situations he’d later regret, though he picked up many mischievous yet beneficial talents. Much of his daily activities included playing with his friends, sword/axe fighting and practicing with his friends, finding free meals, torturing stray animals, watching battles from a distance, and picking locks for loot as he could without being caught.

One day, as a young teen Eikon and his friends were observed taking bread they hadn’t purchased and they were distantly followed by several members of the Legion who were notified by the observant. Upon being caught, the young lads were harshly lashed, each varying by the acts in the crime (thief, lookout, distractions). After his encounter with the Legion, Eikon’s heart was scorned with ill taste for anyone upholding their morals and values.

Several years later, Eikon’s mother and only known living relative, was struck ill and bed ridden with symptoms of the plague that cursed the land years before. Upon her final breaths, Mira explained to Eikon his purpose to be in life…

One night while working in the Pub, a striking lad who asked to be called GB visited the Pub and drank heavily. As the night grew longer, he’d talked Mira into sharing a drink with him and told her many tales of battles he’d fought and won in his day. Further into the night, as it was obvious they’d both had too much to drink Mira offered GB a place to stay for the night. As they arrived at Mira’s quaint little shack, GB explained that his name was Grimrik Braveaxe and he was the Grand Councilor of the Dwarf Legion. He asked she never tell the tale of this night however, since at the time he’d hastily left town in search of what he’d yet to find. And many months later, Eikon was born of the rendezvous.

And with her final breath, she muttered her love for her only son and explained…”Now Eikon, the material things which I could not give, are yours to be earned”...”you see, you are a direct descendent of the greatest warriors and leaders”…”it is in your blood, but you must choose to continue your path of ill fate, or grow amongst ranks of the greatest leaders we have known”

And alas, with the passing of his mother, Eikon spent several years growing into a noble young man by himself and searching for his direction only to one day realize, he must find his place in Asulon, be it as it may…ill-fated or amongst the Great.

What are your Character's ambitions?: To fulfill his mother’s wish and seek out his dwarven brethren

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): His favorite tool is his trusty axe.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?: He’s very skilled with an axe

Each and every question must be answered with a minimum of a single full paragraph and entirely in RP.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?:

Being small in stature himself and having quite a thirst for the battle, Eikon hastily storms upon backs of armed men screaming in fury at their fear to choose a more fair battle. As they turn to face him he asks them, “Aye, ye putrid dogs of yellow, what have you with this one half of either of yer size” as he draws his axe. They quickly unsheathe swords and offer to him “Leave now, forget what you saw, and no trouble will be yours today.” But he can’t…his ale has overcome his keen wit, and Eikon quickly finds himself the victim of a terrible beating when he realizes the halfing had fled when he’d distracted the two armed warrior. As he eyed one warrior, he hadn’t seen the other sneak behind him and he was quickly subdued with a blindsided knock to the back of his skull. Luckily for his sake, tired from their repeated blows as he lay on the ground, the two men stumbled off laughing at the outcome. “No worries”, Eikon mutters to himself and grins…”I never forget a face.”

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?:

Eikon quickly takes in the items in the rooms and smiles at the merchant “Good day to you”, Eikon boasts. “Any you” returns the merchant. “Have ye any good sales today, lad?” offers Eikon. “Sure”, explains the merchant, “but we just sold out”. “Aye, be a dwarf's luck” mutters Eikon as he tosses his hand in the air waving goodbye and meanders away.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Oh good day to me Eikon thinks to himself as he observes the hut and surroundings. He quickly looks for signs of inhabitants, yet can’t find any. He shouts “ELLO, ANYONE AT HOME”…”I’m a distant traveler seeking refuge for the eve”. With no response, Eikon peeks inside to see many cobwebs and dusty items telling obviously that no one had been home in some time. After making himself at home, Eikon takes the items he can use and leaves the others behind for the next needy traveler. Wondering away he claims allowed “Be a lucky day to be a dwarf!”

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?:

“Good day, Lads” “How be ye” Eikon questions? “Well and merry” the inhabitants reply. Eikon quickly scans through the items in the trading camp for anything he might need and comes across a few items of food including break and pork. He negotiates with the traders “I be only a poor traveler, needing just a bit of food to carry on. Can you spare any or provide me with an affordable meal?” Glaring Eikon up and down, the trader shrugs “I can give you two for one but that’s my best”. Eikon smiles, purchases one pork and bread getting two of each, and continues on his way.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

With lust in his eyes for money and glory, Eikon can barely contain himself. He does his best to push his way to the front of the gathering to enlist in the quarrel. “Where do I sign?” exclaims Eikon. The leader looks around for the boisterous voice, finally locating Eikon behind one of the guard in front of him. “You?” the leader questions. Eikon explains, “Aye, me!” “I’ll take two to yer one, face to face” Laughing, the guard quickly enlists Eikon merely to observe his talents. Yet as the outcome of the skirmish is revealed, he observes a large smile on Eikon's face as he glances down counting the number of bandits he’s subdued around him. Then he turns to the leader and questions “And how many for ye again, noble one?” “I see but half that which I’ve here” and he chuckles deeply strolling back to collect his reword.
