Jchizz 115 Share Posted July 15, 2012 Trevor shivered as he passed through the gates of Holm towards the boat. "Must'a gotten colder since I got here..." he thought. He wrapped his cloak tighter around himself and stepped onto the dock. Instantly he began to feel just a little bit better. The sound of hollow wooden floors had always been soothing to him. He headed towards the boat and climbed up the later. He took a breath just as a cold wind caught his throat. He coughed, jerking a bit forward. He glanced around and saw people staring. "Damnit..." Trevor thought. He didn't like staring. He headed into the cabin, ready to get out of what he considers the frozen junk yard that is Holm. Trevor walked down the tunnel to the Cloud Temple. He shivered again, and coughed once more. He must have caught a cold in Holm. "Feckin' wasteland," he thought. As he walked towards the exit, a man ran past and bumped into him. Trevor stumbled as his legs began to gave out. He caught himself on the wall as the other man ran down. He opened his mouth to shout, but only coughed. "Alright," Trevor thought, "bed rest." He made his way through the noisy square at the Temple. His head began to ache, and he scowled and shivered once more, pulling his hood further over his head. He saw a couple people he knew, but didn't stop to talk. "Can't have 'em catchin' this damn cold," he murmured to himself as he headed down the blue path towards the carriage to Arethor. Trevor stepped shakily off the carriage. Something was definitely wrong. He coughed violently again, and sighed. "Xerrenath'll get me a doctor or somethin'," he thought. He looked around. His vision blurred a bit, and his head throbbed. "Just got'a get home..." He took one step. Then another. Then another. Trevor coughed again and stared at his feet as his mind shut down. He felt the sensation of spinning... then, everything went black. Bits and pieces of memory followed. A kid's voice. Bumping and bouncing. A man's voice. Dragging through the dark. When Trevor finally awoke, he found himself in a room. It was familiar... but he couldn't place a finger on it. He was cold, and covered in sweat. He coughed violently, and shifted. He couldn't think straight. Couldn't see straight. Thinks slipped into black once again, followed by more bits of memory - a paper and quill, voices outside... A single memory stood out. He was staring at the ceiling. His vision was blurry - whether from tears or sickness, he knew not. He shook his head slightly on the pillow and thought: "is this what it's like to die?" ((This is both a narration of a story and an open invitation to RP, both in game and in the forums. He's currently in one of the rooms in the Cloud Temple. Jchizz 115 Author Share Posted July 15, 2012 Trevor coughed violently, sitting up in the bed and awaking from his most recent black out. His chest and head throbbed. His body was cold, and his face hot. He looked around slowly, his vision slightly blurred. He remembered someone in the room. A hooded man, talking funny. He left, and Trevor blacked out again soon after. Soon, he felt shaking. Heard more people. He remembered a bottle, with water inside. It was the greatest tasting water he ever drank. A furry orange monk, blue light, and then... He looked around. Dazed. A man and the monk were exiting the room. His head throbbed a bit, but not nearly as bad as before. He was no longer cold, only slightly warmer than comfortable. He noticed that he was covered in sweat. Trevor rubbed his eyes, exhausted, and fell back onto the bed. He was asleep before he hit the pillow. Trevor is now recovering after the visit from the monk, and will be better shortly. However, he is still in bed, resting.
