The cackling of two pyres stand vigil over the entrance of the Varivik Gauntlet, the wooden palisade modest and stands guard over what is inspiring to be one of the most visited and frequented arenas that Asulon has bore upon it's lands. The Frijots of Varivik gather as chariots begin to wheel throughout the streets and gather men, women, and children aboard and take them to view the beautiful Gauntlet. The Druzhes walk amongst the briars, tall grasses, and trees that grow within the Gauntlet, noting that such is a natural place to fight. A young man, adorned with a grizzly beard and dense hair draped towards his shoulders begins to make his way up the pavilion for spectators and sits on the highest level and glances with darted precision across the field within the Gauntlet.

"Haar', I see what tur' Druzhes have been goin' fur', they ar' tryin' tur' get the Gauntlet tur' be a place where people may tag together, use their heads tur' make it a more interesting fight...", the young man points with a finger, bristled with thick hair on each phalanx of the finger, towards the treeline driving itself towards the middle of the field. "I believe that each team may choose to either be directly imposing and taunting for a man-to-man fight, but also these teams may be wise and use the terrain to give them advantages...", he looks down and scowls towards the people traversing to and fro, smiling swiftly afterwards and guffawing at his undecipherable change of facial expression. The young man looks back, now bending his knee and placing one foot forward, resting his forearms on such as he scans the field with admiration; expressing his wish to fight within.

Frijots elaborate with the tongue and words have been sent towards the Cloud Temple to garner attention, the directions to the Gauntlet being made clear. Such an attraction will hopefully become one oft-visited and bring attention to the cultured lands of Levanthus. The messengers and criers inform the people of the Cloud Temple and news reaches the ears of many nations, cities, and lands of the Gauntlet. They speak of a Charioteer named Zlata who has offered her chariot as one that would transport visitors and wishful participants, of how the Orme Lang, the Longship, sits at Sanctuary Docks providing a firm sailing towards Varivik.

Events for the Gauntlet

~ Duels: One may challenge another towards a duel within the Gauntlet, such a challenge must be agreed to by the desired opponent. Make clarification if this will be a RP or PvP Duel via the /tell system.

~ Troupe Fight: One may desire to form teams that would conduct skirmishes against other teams within the Gauntlet. The minimum required to request a Troupe Fight is two per team, but up to the maximum of ten per team; only two teams allowed in a fight at the moment.

~ Archery Contest: Archers may endeavor, if they gather atleast two more contestants to be allowed atop the wooden palisade to shoot targets set out. The first to shoot the targets win.

~ To spectate any of these events, the price ranges from 75-150 minas per person, 75 for Duels and Archery Contests; 150 for Troupe Fight.
