This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Jasper was Born within a village hidden atop one of the sky-scraping mountains within Asulon. His mother had died in child birth of his younger brother whom later became ill of disease & died while still in the cradle. His father, grieving at the loss of his wife & newborn son never fully recovered. His father became very abusive, almost always drunk at home and whom always seemed ashamed of his son, without giving him a chance. His father began beating Jasper whenever he asked a stupid question or inquired about life on the outside, they were stuck here for below them was an Orc encampment that had fed off the village for years. The village Jasper resided within was a small residential area with Seven families. Jasper's father tried to teach the boy how to weild a sword hopefully to become a soldier or slave for the Orc's to use but that failed because the boy was craven, he feared his father for the beatings he had delivered to him as a child & was afraid to swing the sword in his general direction. He was however very agile & able to dodge his fathers repeted blows, he had learned how to move so well when he ran away from his father during his drunken rage. Jasper, when not at home tending to his drunken father, liked to spend his time up on the cliffs of the surrounding mountains climbing about them & searching hollowed caves for apparent hidden treasure. The village prospered off of it's goats and it's wheat field, that being planted in the center of the town all the woman & men worked on it while the children collected wood. Every solstice the Orcs would come and demand "payment" for protection of the village, taking away most of the wheat & meat they had stored for the winter. This limited the food supply during the winter months, and starvation killed many people. But later they found a way to out smart the Orc's by hiding the Wheat and Salted meat within hallowed stumps that rested behind his fathers home Life continued as normal, his father was always drunk & the town was always happy, except for Jasper. As Jasper hit his thirteenth birthday, he found himself betrothed to a female whom he found attractive, it was the same female he had found all those days when he had ran from his father screaming & crying, a girl his age whom had always taken care of him whenever he had gotten a scrape or cut from climbing the mountain. Her name was Jenny Flowers, she was a bastard-born child of the father of the house. She was shy, cute and always brought a smile to Jaspers face whenever he saw her. An ancient tradition was to take place the year after, The fourteenth birthday of any young man, in order to become a man the boy had to leave the mountain side, sneak through the Orc encampment & into the woods to kill & skin any animal they could catch within the forest, if they didn't return they were presumed dead & life would go on as usual. Jasper was terrified, he feared the Orc's more then he did his own father. Tomorrow he was to go through the encampment & into the wilderness. When he returned he would be able to marry the beautiful Jenny whom always seemed to care for him, to live with her within the village for the rest of their life's together. The following night Jasper moved silently through the village, a leather Jerkin over his chest, a sheathed carved-stone dagger in his pocket, a bow & quiver on his back. The residence were standing silently in the center of the town, looking to him with wide eyes. Jasper couldn't believe what he was doing, this was suicide. Yet, he wanted to make his father proud. Jasper took a deep breath before heading down the mountain side, rather then taking the mountain path all the way down he stopped halfway looking back up to the village and decided to take the mountain path that went around the encampment that had been out of order for some time. His blue eyes glowing softly. Clouds covered the sky and a soft rain fell, his brown-mud colored hair covering his forehead & ears, he stood 5 feet 4 inches. He closed his eyes quietly as he moved along the ledge of the overhanging cliff, the flames of the fires within the Orc's encampment causing light to shine against the clouds in defiance of the rain Jasper reached the other side of the cliff, moving carefully around rubble. He finally reached the end of the path, a raging river in front of him when he suddenly heard a noise come from behind him. "Stop there!" a voice called, Jasper panicked & stumbled backwards, falling into the raging water and immediately was swept into the black. He woke up to a beaming sun staring him down in the face, washed up on a bank of sand.. he brushed himself off & looked around. This part of the forest was dense & he had no clue where he was. Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Jasper watches from afar, his eyes wide. He had never seen such violent people before. He stays back for a good moment before walking up and saying in a soft voice "Excuse me, what are you doing?" a smile drawn on his face, looking very polite & very innocent to the world. One of the armed men turn to look at Jasper, staring at him as if he were the most pathetic insect in the world. "Get lost boy." his voice was gruff & filled with fury. Jasper didn't move, he merely stayed & watched, the halfling glared at him was he was mugged, but Jasper kept poking "What's that, What's This?" he continued to annoy the men until they were angry enough to chase him. Then took off, running through the forest & away from the conflict. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Jasper suddenly stops, looking over the man, then down at his wares, his eyes growing huge as he looks at the various items that he's never seen before, or hardly seen at all while living amongst the mountains. he continuously ask "Oh my whats this?" in a child-like tone filled with amusment, picking up items and putting them back down, his curiosity getting ahold of him and fixating him on the wonder before him. He would loose himself in the magic of the shop, and never notice anything outside of his range of vision, when he had seen all that there was to see he would then leave the shop with a friendly "Goodbye" to the posh merchant & thank him for his kindness. The posh man didn't know how to respond but said with a smile "Take care, young one!" Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Jasper would look around, inspecting the house with utter thoroughnes, checking the kitchen & tables to make sure no leavings were left that tells of someone living here. If he found no evidence that someone lived in the house, and the chest was unlocked as well as the door, he'd leave a note on the box saying "Sorry!" and take the goods with him as he left. He would then sell the items that were useless to him to the first merchant he came in contact with that being everything. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?Jasper looks at the men, his body feeling tired & restless his stomach growling he had been wondering the wilderness for what felt like weeks, but had only been a couple of days. He had slept during a rain storm under a tree water constantly dripping upon his scalp. He had not eaten in three days, he stares at them for trading camp member for a moment, his eyes sunken pits with dark black rings around them, only proving that he had not slept well, If at all. Jasper would reach down to his belly & patted it then opening his mouth and pointing into it. He would then speak childish, almost innocent tone "Could you spare some food.. please? You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Jasper blinks a few times hearing the word "Reward" his eyes light up & begin to sparkle. He would join the party of men bringing his Bow & Arrow along, always sticking to the shadows even with the party of men. He ran just a few yards off to the side sticking in the forest & moving from tree to tree, his body limber with excitement. As they approach the bandit camp Jasper would stay in the tree & watch how the fighting would turn out. He watched as the guards butchered the bandits from afar, the clanging of metal on metal & the screams of dying men echoing within the air. If the seemed to even falter for a moment, he would run & hide back within the town, gather up his things and flee as quickly as he could in the opposite direction.
