The cold wind settles upon Ameroth's face as he walks out the brothel with an empty wallet in Arethor around midday when the sun is just about to set. Ameroth looks to the stars and a thought crosses his mind "Am I loved?" he thinks of all of the shame, mistreatment, and how his whole life was just a canvas for pain and misery.

Ameroth sheds the first tear since the day he left his mother on the nomad trail out of shame. He walks out to the docks of Arethor and the cold wind only helps the tears flow at a greater rate. Ameroth at this point has bursted into tears crying as he runs to a small fishing boat with a fisherman sitting in it sleeping. Ameroth gets in the boat with the fisherman and unhooks it's anchor setting sail for a place that will give him more love and spare his shame, even if that place is the deep dark abyss of the ocean itself. Ameroth sails off into the sunset while the fisherman still sleeps in the boat.

Will Ameroth come back? Most likely not, but maybe at the end of the lonely journey... Ameroth will find a new land... just maybe.
