Character Name:

Azork

What Race are you? (You may only be Human, Orc, Elf or Dwarf!) :

Orc

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):

Nomad

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Azork the orc began his life in an Orc Nomad camp, where he grew up traveling through Asulon. Throughout his life he was taught by his mother and father how to fight with an axe, and to properly run the forge of his clan. As he grew into adolescence he began to develop feelings for the Chief's daughter, who was beautiful by orc standards. After wooing her for months, she finally succumbed to his advances, and they entered a relationship. When the Chief found out, he was furious. He sentenced Azork to exile while they were camped in the middle of the harsh desert. After wandering for many days, killing and eating anything he could find, Azork collapsed under the harsh desert sun. When he woke, he found himself outside the sanctuary, in the middle of Asulon. From that day forth, he vowed to create his own war clan, to find his first love and make her his own and destroy any one who stands in his way.

As he wandered through the desert, it began to take it's toll on his mind, removing what precious little complex thought he could muster, and bringing him down to the mental level of a small orc child. But even that will not stop him, as the few things left in his mind are his goals of clan leadership and sweet, sweet orc love.

What are your Character's ambitions?:

Even in his dersert-induced state of childishness, Azork's main ambition is to become a master of a clan, or at least gain a spot of power in Asulon.

His other ambition is to find the orc he loved, and make her his own.

Azork's favourite tool is the axe.

Other Information about your Character:

Azork, despite his colossal strength, has the mental capacity of a small human child. He is calm most of the time, and sees the world through rose-coloured glasses. (Kind of like pyrovision, only if pyro was a 12-year-old)

Open-Response-Questions

Each and every question must be answered with a minimum of a single full paragraph and entirely in RP.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

As Azork is leaves the Cloud Temple, he hears a sound that is familiar to his small ears: The sound of a halfling being accosted by a couple of warriors. Reacting with a speed only known to a hungry orc, he ducks behind a tree and waits until he hears what he knows will come soon: a loud shuffling, followed by the shouts of all three involved, then a wet slashing sound, followed by silence. Barely able to control himself, it takes everything in him not to jump out right then. Instead, he waits impatiently for the two warriors to leave, and jumps out from behind the tree to the scene of the crime and finds a dead halfling stripped of his belongings. Looking around cautiously, he grabs the halfling's body when he assures himself no one is around. He would be eating a rare delicacy that night: roasted halfling.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

As Azork walks through Alras, rejoicing over his delicious meal the previous night. As he walks past a shop, a pompous-looking merchant calls him over and asks him to take a look at his wares. Not quite understanding the man's strange patterns of speech, Azork understands that he is meant to come over. Smiling, he complies. As he looks at the merchant's wares, he spies something that makes his mouth water: a cooked chicken, beside steak and a loaf of bread. Stomach rumbling, he looks at the merchant and mumbles "'Zork gots no m'nas." Looking at the sad orc, the man sighs and motions for him to take them. "Better a happy orc than an angry one," he sighs, as Azork walks away happily munching on the man's dinner.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Walking through the forest after his encounter with the merchant in Alras, Azork comes across an interesting sight: a small hut, looking as though it had been empty for several weeks. Walking into the hut, Azork spies a small bed, a furnace, and something that caught his eyes more than anything else in the room. Azork opens the chest with his huge hands, hoping for some more delicious chicken. Instead, he is greeted by two scuffed-up golden swords and a few shiny iron ingots. Ignoring the golden swords, he goes straight for the glimmering iron. After a cursory glance around, to make sure the hut's owner isn't nearby, he continues to look thought the hut's few other accessories. Noticing that there is an old fish, probably meant to be someone's dinner, in the oven, he squeals in delight and grabs it as well. Azork quickly scarfs down the old fish and leaves, clumsily covering up his trails, trying to make it look as though no one was ever there. He then continues on with his aimless wandering.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

Many days passed after Azork's discovery of the abandoned hut, during which he found almost no food. Wandering aimlessly and frighteningly hungry, Azork stumbles upon a small trading camp, in which there are three humans sitting around a fire roasting food. Smelling the roasting meat causes something to snap inside of Azork, and he blacks out.

When he comes to, Azork finds himself sitting in the centre of the camp, with two unconscious humans laying on either side of him, with the third no where to be seen. Not questioning the large bumps on their foreheads and the trail of blood leading away from the camp, Azork quickly gets up and grabs the food and a few shiny objects lying around the camp, hoping the humans will not be too angry with him.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

After finding his way back to civilization, Azork spends a few nice days living in a small town's trash heap, foraging for food and making friends with the local rats and seagulls. On one of his daily jaunts about town, during which he wonders why most of the townsfolk run away and cover their noses, he hears a man in the centre of town shouting something about "Bandits terrorizing the town" and "must be stopped" Azork doesn't listen, enthralled by the large amounts of shining Iron ingots behind the man. As he pushes his way to the front of the crowd (which isn't hard, considering people are pushing to get away from the wave of stink coming off of the oblivious orc), he motions to the pile of ignots, saying, "Azork wants teh shinies!" As the man explains to him that to get the shinies, Azork must "deal with the bandits," Azork quickly sets out to accomplish his new task. As he walks out the gate, a man approaches him and asks him in a menacing tone what he's doing leaving the town, Azork asks the man "You bandit?" The man laughs and informs him that yes, he is indeed a bandit what's it to- at this point he can no longer talk around Azork's fist and his screams of "teh shinies". Satisfied that the man could no longer get between him and his ingots after a few more choice punches, Azork continues on his way to the bandit camp, coming across a few more people, and always asking them the same question. Few learned to say "No," and fewer still managed to escape the angry fists of an orc hellbent on getting his shinies.

After a few more hours of this, Azork returns to the town, satisfied with his job and wanting his shinies. As he walks back towards the town square, he begins to wonder why everyone is being so loud around him and would prefer if they would stop referring to his as "you wonderful oaf!", thank you very much. When he reaches the town centre after a few more moments and accepts his prize, satisfied in his days work, he sits down and begins to sleep, much to the chagrin of everyone else in the square who would prefer to not have to deal with the stench of a sweaty orc who had been living in a trash heap for several days.

Anything else you would like to say?:

I really hope you like Azork the Amazing, and enjoy his comedic affect on the RP of this server. If not, then I hope that you'll be able to help me mold him into a character that I can get onto the server, as I would enjoy RPing in such a large world.

Under Review Denied

I loved your Open Response Questions although I personally have some issues with your Biography, such as having the mental state of a child, you don't simply "get that" after wandering through the harsh deserts of Asulon, we are Orcs and are accustomed to those conditions afterall, so I say you change up your Biography and expand and improve on it slightly, I absolutely loved the rest and you are on the right track.
