Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar? Yes, I do.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am mainly a student who spends most of his time studying, but when I have free time, I will go on the computer. In relevance to LOTC, I am quite comfortable with roleplay and enjoy it thoroughly. I have taken a few theater classes, so I should be more than sufficient at being a particular character.

How much time could you be on the server weekly? I would be able to be on this server a minimum of 2 to 3 hours a week. Max time? I can’t tell.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplay is where someone takes a certain character upon themselves, and acts and speaks as if they were the person who they are potraying.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any? The closest I have been to roleplay is acting in school-related classes.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Metagaming is basically doing things that are unrealistic in physical possibility to your character. An example would be me asking for coordinates to a certain location or using other “out-of-game resources” in order to complete a certain task.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is: Power-Emoting is when someone “forces an action” upon someone else. An example of this is: “*Sentlit Jump-Kicks N00BR4NG3R in the face, knocking him out*” thus forcing ‘N00BR4NG3R’ to be both hit, and knocked out. The dialogue before would correctly be typed as: “*Sentlit attempts to Jump-Kick N00BR4NG3r in the face*” then ‘N00BR4NG3R’ would have the choice to be hit or not, as well as choosing if this knocks him out.

In your own Words, define what Out of Character (OOC) is: Out of character is any action/speech that would come from one’s own decision and not the character that that person is potraying.

In your own Words, define what In Character (IC) is: In character is the opposite of Out of character in which one acts/speaks like a certain character rather than what the person would normally act/speak like.

What do you expect this server will be like? I expect the server to be a fun, friendly community where there will be realistic roleplay.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them? I’ve played on a server called ElderCraft (originally ParaCraft), but unfortunately it couldn’t stay together and it shut down. I found another couple servers, PixelParty and The Daily Block, on which I still build things.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules? Yes, I have, and I do.

Character Name: My name is Sentlit, but some call me SenVyrn or Sen.

What Race are you? (You may only be Human, Orc, Elf or Dwarf!) I’m a human.

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race) I don’t have a sub-race that I know of.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.) I stand at about 6ft. tall, have medium-blonde hair, and commonly wear gray clothing. I am currently 18 years old. I am extremely strong-willed but under too much tension, my will could snap and I could perform irrational actions that I later would come to regret.

Since I was a child I have suffered from slight memory issues. This was due to a head injury that I received after accidentally falling off of a roof. I grew up as a shepherd, and often took care of the animals at my parents’ farm. I am skilled at taking care of animals and defending them from creatures and people who wish to harm them. I recently had left my family behind to live my own life, and began to wander from town to town. I then heard about a college that teaches people about magic. I feel like magic and I are almost connected, as if it runs in my blood, so I began to seek the college. On my journey I’ve been running short of money and supplies, and now my goal to find and master magic seems dim….

What are your Character's ambitions? I aspire to reach the Mage’s College somehow, and master Magic in order to make something of my life.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc) I see the bow as a wonderful tool, which I may use to defend myself (and in the past, my animals) from a distance, as well as using it in other ways (such as leaning against, as a lever to lift rocks, a bar to tie things to for easier transport, among other things)

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? I am skilled in fighting monsters, bandits, and other creatures that might harm me or my animals using a bow. I’m also decent at navigating through harsh terrain.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? I would probably do nothing. It would be unwise for me to get into business that isn’t mine. These warriors would probably kill me if I interviened.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? “Uh, nothing sir.” And I would keep moving along.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond? I would take the sword to the market and sell it for money, but leave the ingots, because they would weigh me down too much.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, and how do you respond? I would pull out my money pouch, offering money to anyone who could give me food.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guards have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offers their support. How does your character act on this information? I would support them for a handful of money, but I would stay a little far away from the main action to range the bandits from afar.
