Minecraft Account Name: Ninjassassin509

How old are you?: 13

Time-Zone/Country of Residence: Eastern Standard Time (U.S)

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes, American English is my native language.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I like helping people, but only if they are humble enough to be grateful. I'm nice to people that aren't complete idiots. I'm realistic and smart.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Most of the day, but of course I don't want to be playing Minecraft 24/7. It's a great game, but occasionally I'll go play a different one for an hour. To sum it up, most of the day unless I'm out of the house, playing another game, or eating.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: To me, Roleplaying is an environmental and personal set-up in which you address others according to what they "are", may it be a specific rank or something else. You pretend that what the setting is is real, and act as if it was as well.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I haven't played any actual Roleplaying servers, so I'm quite excited to play on this one!

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is knowing something that you learned while not in-game but using it while in-game.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is: Power-Emoting is forcing a character or player in-game to do something they may or may not want to do.

In your own Words, define what Out of Character (OOC) is: Your actual personality in real life.

In your own Words, define what In Character (IC) is: Your personality as your character.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I think this server will be fair and just and fun and that I'll have a great time learning how Roleplaying is. :)

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I've searched through quite a few servers but most of them didn't have that many people on and wasn't managed well.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes

Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: Yes

How did you hear about us?: My friend Jack (valor777)

Have you previously made an Application? If so could you link us to your last Application?: No, I haven't.

In-Character:

Character Name: Ninjacus

What Race are you? (You may only be Human, Orc, Elf or Dwarf!) : Human

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): (I apologize in advance for the mere LENGTH of this bio, I got really into it.) Born to a farmer, I was raised thinking I was normal. Thinking we were normal. But one day when i was 6, I woke up to shouting. I jumped from bed and ran to my window. Outside, I could see my father, holding a three-pronged spear, spinning frantically like he was looking for something, with his torch on the ground. I looked out near the woods, and I saw figures emerging. They were ugly and green from what I could see. While I didn't know at the time, I know now that they were a horde of Zombies. My dad had been teaching me to fight since I could walk, but I was scared... I didn't want to leave my room, but I ventured far enough to go downstairs to our kitchen. I saw my mother running outside to help my father. I suddenly felt a tingle.. it ran slowly up my arms, then through the rest of my body. I spun around, mildly light-headed, and saw in the corner of our house a light. The light started out dim but slowly grew brighter. I had heard tales and legends of the Aenguls and Daemons appearing to people, but then again, they were only myths. I know better now. The light continued to grow and grow, until suddenly it was larger than a full-grown human. And at that, a figure stepped through. A figure made of light. Not white light, but an orange light. When he stepped far enough from the light, I could see him. He was great in size, and his eyes were gentle, but had a glint of fire in them. His shoulders had fire lifting from them, and his hands glowed like hot ashes. He did not speak, nor did I. He held out his hand, palm down to me. I could feel the heat radiating from it. Suddenly, I felt warmth. Then knowledge. I felt knowledge in the form of warmth. Then came strength. Strength, also in the form of warmth. Lastly, I knew wisdom. The wisdom was the warmest of all, burning through my soul as if it were paper. Suddenly, my arms felt like feathers, and my legs like clouds. I looked back toward where the Daemon had been standing, but only saw a thin cloud of smoke. The light had disappeared as well. I took a cautious step backwards, not knowing what had happened. Not knowing I had been gifted. I was brought back to my senses by my father shouting as he battered away a Zombie. Then I felt another warmth. The warmth of wisdom. I remembered that I knew how to use a bow. But I didn't know how to use a bow! But I did. I'd never held one before, but I could feel the wood fit into my hand like I was holding it. I felt the warmth of knowledge next. I'd never been informed, but I knew my father kept a spare bow in his closet. I ran upstairs and fetched it. Next to the bow was a full quiver, and just seeing it reminded me how fast I could draw an arrow. It freaked me out at the time, because I'd never drawn an arrow before! But I knew I could do it fast. I jolted back down the stairs and out the front door, which was open from when my mother had run out. I stopped where I was, and suddenly felt strength. I felt a hot strength, burning inside of me. I drew an arrow too fast to notice, threw it onto the string, pulled it back, and let it fly. I was so scared. I expected the worst, for my arrow to completely miss. Or to hit my father. But neither happened. I opened my eyes to see a zombie fall backwards onto the ground, a pool of blood forming near his head. Blinking, I drew another arrow and fitted the string into its notch. I launched arrow after arrow, each hitting its mark. I didn't see my father any more, not in the group of zombies that had formed. Arrow after arrow, I slaughtered the zombies. The whole time I was thinking. "I can pull back a bow? I can pull back a bow. Why? No, how? I'm not that strong!" Which I knew, even then, I was. However, what I didn't know is that the warmth was the strength. Off to the side of the vicious onslaught was my mother, who was crying and screaming and hurling rocks at the zombies. I suddenly started shooting faster, drawing faster, killing faster. I wasn't thinking, not trying to shoot arrows, just doing it. I felt like I was watching someone else doing it. Suddenly, there were no more live zombies. All the corpses had either puncture holes from my fathers trident or an arrow protruding from their foreheads. And then I saw my father. The farmer. Lying on the ground. Then there was my mother, screaming in agony to his side. I don't remember then next few weeks, but I do know that from there, I grew up fatherless. I grew up in the hands of my mother. But I could provide. I could fish, and hunt. I could fight to kill. I was strong enough to shove over an cow (provided I had a running start). Such was only the beginning of my life. Age: 19 years old. Eyes: Brown. Hair: Brown. Height: 6' 1". Weight: 140 pounds.

Open-Response-Questions

Each and every question must be answered with a minimum of a single full paragraph and entirely in RP.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? He starts with a warning, walking over, giving a cold, dead stare to both of them. He twitches his bow as a dare. The two warriors take no heed, and ignore him. As a fierce archer, he simply kicks both warriors in the back of the knee, causing them to bend down a little. Enraged, they engage. My character draws an arrow and puts it through one of the gaps in each of the warriors armor on their legs. In agonizing pain, they fall to the ground. My character picks up a stick and bangs it several times against each warriors helmet. His feels in their pockets for any change they may have looted from the Halfling and returns it to him. Making sure the small man has no wounds, he simply gets up and walks away. A frightened "Th-th-th-thanks!" is tossed his way from the Halfling. My character simply nods his head a couple times and keeps walking.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? "Hi, I'd like a 6 quivers of arrows, 3 Instant Health Splash Potions, and 4 Splash Potions of harming. And why not get a couple cuts of steak?" The merchant fetches what my character asks for with a slightly alarmed look on his face as he walks with the harming potions in his arms, afraid he'd drop them. My character takes them from his hands and begins to juggle them as a small show for the merchant. To say the least, the merchant isn't pleased. My character places the money on the counter, and a small tip. He walks out of the store with a nod.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: My character assumes that someone may own it and not be there at the time, or that someone more needing will come along and collect the items. My character simply adds an iron bar and leaves.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond? He introduces himself with an alias, just in case they're actually hostiles. "Hi, I'm Mulan. I've been in the wild for days, can you help me?" Wary about the odd strangers, he allows them to take him to the store so he can buy some cooked meat that he eats, then show him around. He spots an inn. Thanking them for the tour, he heads over to it for a nap. Anxious to be on his way, he has a quick stop at the store to stock up and leave without further a due.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: He informs the leader that he is willing to track them down and kill them, but demands the supplies to do so. He recieves a smug look and a bow with half a quiver of arrows, asks for the general direction they're in, makes sure to have it look like he's vulnerable, and is on his way to target practice.

Anything else you would like to say?: I wish I could do what I did in my bio :P.

I find myself able to admire your biography for to some extent, but when I reach the point where you are blessed by a Daemon it quickly turns sour. Being blessed by a Daemon is in fact a formulated large scale event, which one should be far form having in a mere server application. It made yourself to be some sort of chosen one, which would be viable, past the fact that half the server is aiming for similar stories.

Having an average character is more believable, and more likely to get accepted. In saying average I mean for you to make characters you would commonly find in a typical world. Your parents need not die in your application, and being able to instantly have the ability to fight near perfectly in an instant, is ridiculous.

Also, I noted your first open-response-question contained a bout of power-gaming. Being able to take down two adept warriors, without even breaking a sweat is far from what you should be role playing on this server. Remember, you don't have to win every battle, especially not this one.

Please wait 24 hours before re applying.
